A Study on the Service Quality of Serviced Residence according to Consumers' Characteristics (고객 특성에 따른 서비스드 레지던스의 서비스 품질 차이 연구)

  • The objective of this research is to provide serviced residence enterprises with the basic materials necessary for establishing a marketing strategy by surveying the recognition of service quality that differs according to the characteristics of customers using serviced residence. With 317 customers of the sample, the statistical data were treated by the frequency analysis, the reliability analysis, the analysis of searching factor, the t-test and the ANOVA. As a result, the service quality of serviced residence was divided into 5 factors of facilities, price, variety, reliability, expertise and kindness. Analyzing the difference in average for sex, nationality, marital status and natives and foreigners, it was found that there was significant difference in the variables of each factor. Considering the result of this research, it seems that serviced residence enterprises should enhance competitiveness with differentiated and specialized marketing strategies which satisfy the characteristics of customers.

Effects of Korean Restaurant Selection and Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty of Chinese Living in Korea (한국거주 중국인들의 한식당의 선택속성과 서비스 품질이 고객 만족도 및 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper is to investigate how selection variables and service quality influence on customer satisfaction and loyalty on Korean restaurants. They are chinese living in Korea that compose a little over 50% among foreigners. The findings and marketing guideline are showed up; First, 3 factors among choice attributions had highly significant on customer satisfaction and loyalty. They are 'service', 'food', and 'location' factors. They should reinforce food's taste & quality and also, service staff's elaborate service, and traffic's accessbility. Second, 'sympathy', 'tangibles', and 'response' factors among service quality were strongly influenced on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore, they should provide various menu which is based on seasons & events, food's decoration, and immediate service. Third, customer satisfaction and loyalty are influenced each other. It should strengthen through consistent quality management and service.

An Influence on Dental Care Satisfaction in College Women of Some Areas (일부지역 여대생의 치과의료 서비스 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine factors related to the satisfaction of dental service in college women. This survey was conducted between March 14, 2014 and April 21, 2014 to investigate the influence on dental care satisfaction in college women. Data were obtained from 412 college women of some areas. At the conclusion of this investigation, as for the correlation analysis between variables affecting college women satisfaction, every variables showed significantly positive relation, and the relation between satisfaction of dental hygienist and satisfaction of hospital environment had the strongest positive relation (p<0.01). To increase the satisfaction in dental clinic, it is necessary to provide the continuing education programs for dental service to dental clinic worker.

  • In this study, we analyzed service quality factors of O2O delivery app based on Kano model and survey, and classified service quality into several dimensions. As a result of the analysis, the one dimensional quality factors were accurate information transmission, variety of restaurants, diversity of payment methods, diversity of menu selection, discomfort resolution, kindness of service, taste and quality of food, hygiene and cleanliness, Attractive quality factors such as updated information, reliable reviews, various ordering methods, fast delivery, brand image, discount point payment and accumulation. Although the must-be quality factor did not appear, it turned out that the discomfort resolution was close to the must-be quality factor. The indifferent quality factors were informational services, events and promotions. The O2O delivery app market is continuing to grow and competition is getting more and more intense. The results of this study will help O2O delivery app vendors to establish strategies to focus on certain quality of service factors.

  • A number of case studies and type analyzes have been conducted on mobility platform services that are rapidly evolving around the world. However, since the actual user experience is important for the development of the mobility service, research on the user side is needed. In the mobility platform service, only the car-hailing was used, and the preference factors were analyzed through the questionnaire in seven aspects of the user experience. Studies have shown significant differences according to gender. While the safety of the woman, the comfort and the kindness of the vehicle have a great influence on the satisfaction, the male affirms that the familiarity is the factor affecting the satisfaction. This study focused on the customer experience as a real user and identified key factors of selecting mobility platform service, so it is expected that it will contribute to the development of mobility platform service in the future.

Identifying the Attributes of College Students' Fast Food Restaurant Selection and Satisfaction (대학생들의 패스트 푸드 레스토랑 선택의 결정요인과 만족도 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • College students represent a substantial market for fast food restaurant companies. In this sense, this research aims (1) to identify the attributes that influence college students' fast food restaurant selection, (2) to analyze how fast food restaurants perform with regards to those attributes using importance-performance analysis, and (3) to examine which attributes influence college students' satisfaction in a fast food restaurant context. Based on a literature review, 13 attributes that influence college students' fast food restaurant selection were derived. Then, using importance-performance analysis, it was found that among the 13 attributes, college students highly considered seven of them. Additionally, data analysis indicated that, currently, fast food companies perform well with regards to these seven attributes. More importantly, according to multiple regression analysis, among the seven attributes, value-related attributes (price, speed, location, and friendliness) were significantly related to college students' overall satisfaction.

  • This study investigates the conceptional structure between festival service quality, visitor's satisfaction, loyalty and festival effects in the Juwangsan Sudalrae mountainous local festival. In order to analyze the structural equation model the paper employed the LISREL (linear structural relationships) approach, covariance structural equation model. Data of 445 visitors were collected from the Juwangsan Sudalrae festival in 2008. Research findings showed that experience, facility and service are positively related to visitors' satisfaction. In addition, visitors' satisfaction is related to loyalty and festival effects. One of the major research findings is that the festival service most affects visitors' satisfaction. This implies that the host of mountainous local festival must put great emphasis on organizing hospitality and festival information. This will lead the festival to a great success and ultimately bring positive impacts to the mountainous residents.

A Study on Student Satisfaction with Educational Environment in a Cooking and Food Service Program (조리.외식관련 대학생들의 교육환경 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between educational environment services offered and student satisfaction with them. A survey was conducted to 314 students in a cooking and food service program. To achieve the purpose of this study, SPSS 17.0, a statistics program, was used for a descriptive analysis, a frequency analysis, a factor analysis, a multiple regression analysis, a cluster analysis and a One-Way ANOVA analysis. The hypothesis test result of the effect of educational environment services on satisfaction showed that there was a partially significant effect in satisfaction with facilities and lecturers(p<0.01) as well as administrative services (p<0.01). In the cluster analysis of educational environment services, cluster 1 was classified as a mistry cluster, cluster 2 as a satisfied cluster, cluster 3 as a dissatisfied cluster and cluster 4 as a positive cluster. They showed a statistically meaningful result in the one-way ANOV A(p<0.01).

Medical Service Factors Associated with Patient Satisfaction: The Difference between Inpatient and Outpatient of A Medium-sized Hospital (환자만족도에 영향을 미치는 의료서비스 품질 요인: A 중소병원 입원.외래환자 간 차이)

  • This study attempts to analyze medical service factors associated with patients' satisfaction, and its difference between inpatients and outpatients in A medium-sized hospital located in rural area. Questionaries have been collected from 411 patients of 96 inpatients and 315 outpatients. The survey was carried out for 4 weeks, from August 20, 2011. The study found that hospital awareness was only factor related to patients' satisfaction in inpatients. In the case of outpatients, several factors were related to patients' satisfaction. They are included qualified health care providers, infirmary accommodations, staff kindness, hospital awareness, and convenient procedure of treatment and admission. Based on the findings, it is desirable to differentiate the strategy in improving patients' satisfaction between patient type; either inpatient or outpatient to being competitive.

Research on Airline Selection Attributes by IPA among Foreign Tourists Visiting Korea (방한외국인의 항공사 선택속성 중요도-성취도 분석)

  • This research aims to analyze the importance-performance among airline selection attributes using foreign tourists. For this purpose, data were collected from Japanese and Chinese tourists to Korea. Of the various airline selection attributes, four factors were deduced that includes: transport service, accompany service, cabin service and basic service using exploratory factor analysis. This study estimated how important airline selection attributes are and how much are they performed. Also, this study analyzed the ranking among each selection attributes using T-test. The importance-performance analysis showed 'Concentrate Here' in quadrant I, 'Keep up the Good Work' in quadrant II, 'Low Priority' in quadrant III and 'Possible Overkill' in quadrant IV. Quadrant I specifically showed low performance in terms of the following specific attributes: communicative convenience, flight attendant's friendliness, seating preference. As these attributes are deemed significant, airline managers should focus along these areas.
