Anatomical Ultrastructure of Spermatozoa of Korean Sharpbelly, Hemiculter eigenmanni (Cypriniformes, Cyprinidae) (치리 Hemiculter eigenmanni 정자의 미세해부학적 구조 (잉어목, 잉어과))

  • The spermatozoa of Hemiculter eigenmanni is similar to other cyprinid by spherical head containing a nucleus with highly condensed chromatin, a short midpiece with mitochondria and a flagellum located tangentially to the head. The fine structure of cyprinid spermatozoa described classical characteristics of Cyprinidae spermatozoon comprising the absent of acrosome, the shallow nucleal fossa, postnuclear distribution of mitochondria and the lateral insertion of flagellum. However there were some structural differences for their morphology, in the mitochondria and the orientation of centrioles. The proxomal and distal centrioles are oriented approximately $145^{\circ}$ to each other. The mitochondria of 8 or 10 in number are arranged in two or three layers.

Tissues and Plasma Proteins of Hemiculter eigenmanni in Muddy Water of Imha Reservoir (임하호 탁수역에 서식하는 치리 (Hemiculter eigenmanni)의 조직과 혈장단백질)

  • Present study aims to investigate the effect of muddy water on various tissues and plasma proteins of Hemiculter eigenmanni in Imha reservoir. The gills in muddy water were shown to have clubbing in secondary lamellae and edema in primary lamellae, respectively. The size of glomerula in kidney was smaller than that of control. Scanning electron micrographs of gills revealed muddy debris and parasites attached between primary and secondary lamellae, suggesting that muddy water possibly involves to decrease in respiratory rate. By using SDS-PAGE, plasma protein bands displayed both quantitative and qualitative changes and ferritin activities were shown more stronger and Fe-3 ferritin band appeared to be specific to plasma of muddy water.

The Influence of Muddy Water in Imha Reservoir on the Ichthyofauna and Fish Growth (임하호의 탁수가 어류상 및 어류생장에 미치는 영향)

  • The number of investigated fish collected from the Andong and the Imha reservoir were 2,540 individuals 20 species belonging to 7 families, 850 individuals 11 species belonging to 4 families respectively from May 2005 to March 2006. The total number of the common 3 species individuals investigated caught from the Andong reservoir and the Imha reservoir were 486 individuals and 124 individuals respectively. The investigated individuals is similar(${\pm}2.5$ mm) to 171 individuals make a comparative study. The Opsariichthys uncirostris, Culter brevicauda, Hemiculter eigenmanni of length-weight relationship were TW = $0.00007TL^{3.0543}$, TW = $0.0000009TL^{3.3654}$, TW = $0.00000^{3.3872}$ in the Andong reservoir and TW = $0.00002TL^{2.8493}$, TW = $0.00001TL^{2.8744}$, TW = $0.000004TL^{3.1082}$ in the Imha reservoir respectively. The Condition factor(K) of the Andong reservoir showed the positive slopes in all three species and to be in a good nutrition condition; where as the condition factor(K) of the Imha reservoir showed the negative slopes in two species except in H. eigenmanni and appeared to be in a little bad nutrition condition. Relative condition factor(Kn) indicating that O. uncirostris and C. brevicauda in Andong reservoir is more rotund than ones of Imha reservoir but H. eigenmanni in the Imha reservoir is more rotund than the ones of the Andong reservoir.

  • Difficulties in riding , driving and parking are a common issue which inevitably appears in city urbanization and city modernization development all over the world. However, those cities differ in controlling the traffic. According to the specific practice in Shanghai, this article presents the various factors which affect the traffic capacity and operation quality . This article also outlines transportation system management technique of overall coordination and comprehensive control in the following seven aspects : controlling traffic motivation : improving traffic distribution : reasonably and scientifically selecting travel mode, travel route and travel time : reinforcing traffic management and road construction. The article finally suggests that the above mentioned points are cost-effective ways of the handling traffic plight for metropolitan transport.

Infestation Status of Clonorchis sinensis Metacercariae in Cyprinid Fish from four Artificial Lakes in South Korea (소양호, 남양호, 안동호 및 춘천호에 서식하는 잉어과 어류의 간흡충 Clonorchis sinensis 감염 조사)

  • Clonorchis sinensis is a main parasite that infects humans by making freshwater fish as an intermediate host in South Korea. There are so many reports about the infestation status of Clonorchis sinensis metacercariae (CsMc) in freshwater fish living in the river, but there are a few studies of fish in the lake. In this study, we examined CsMc in Cyprinid fish sampled from Soyang Lake, Namyang Lake, Andong Lake and Chunchun Lake from 2016 to 2017. Metacercaria of trematodes were found from Hemiculter eigenmanni and Carassius auratus in Namyang Lake, and Zacco platypus and Opsarichthys uncirostris in Soyang Lake. As a result of PCR using Clonorchis sinensis specific primer sets, it was confirmed that the metacercariae from Hemiculter eigenmanni in Namyang Lake was CsMc. This study provides information on CsMc infestation status of Cyprinid fish in four lakes and it is the first report of CsMc infestation in Namyang Lake.

  • 방전 플라스마가 배기 가스 속의 $NO_x$ $\cdot$ $SO_x$ 나 생산현장으로부터 배출되는 VOC 등의 유해 물질의 분해에 유효하다고 하는 것은 이미 많은 연구에 의해 밝혀지고 있다. 또한 방전 플라스마의 발생방식으로서 펄스방전, 무성방전 등 여러 방식이 제안되고 있으며 각각 특장을 갖고 있다. 필자 등은 종래부터 컴팩트하고 높은 분해효율을 갖는 세라믹베이스의 연면방전에 주목하여 주로 VOC를 대상으로 그 특성을 조사해왔다. 즉 이 방식을 이용한 화학적인 치리방식은 처음 증전에 의해 제창되어 SPCP라고 하는 명칭으로도 널리 알려져있다.   • The web is an important source of information and most of Web applications are based on form documents in HTML-based form documents only play a role as user interfaces, and they do not involve the procedures or rules if business process which form document designers assume. However, from documents imply methods for treating documents, and these embedded procedural knowledge can be utilized.actively in automation of business process. In this respect, we Investigate the activeness of documents with cognitive science to automate business processes based on from documents. Through this, we have a new concept and applicability of active documents. Our active documents include business rules and declarative knowledge to support the automation of document processing. Also, we propose a processing framework for the active documents. The framework has two phases: build-time and run-time. in order to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed framework, a prototype called ActiveForm is designed and implemented for requisition processing them in an inference engine can enhance the intelligence of Internet applications.

Comparative Study of Fish Community in the Urban and Nature Stream by Habitat Type (도심하천과 자연하천의 서식처 유형별 어류군집 비교)

  • 도심하천에서 채집된 어류는 총 7과 17종 315개체가 확인되었으며, 자연하천에서 채집된 어류는 6과 21종 1,033 개체가 조사되었다. 도심하천에서 출현한 한국 고유종은 치리(Hemiculter eigenmanni)와 얼룩동사리(Odontobutis interrupta) 2종(11.8%)이었으며, 생태계교란야생동물에 속하는 종인 배스(Micropterus salmoides)가 폐쇄형 하도습지에서 출현하였다. 자연하천에서 출현한 한국고유종은 쉬리 (C. splendidus), 배가사리(Microphysogobio longidorsalis) 등 총 13종(61.9%)으로 고유종의 빈도가 높았고, 멸종위기 II급에 속하는 종인 묵납자루(A. signifer)와 가는돌고기(Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpa) 등 2종(9.5%)이 조사되었다. 두 하천의 군집분석을 비교한 결과 도심하천이 자연하천에 비해 우점도와 균등도 지수가 높게 나왔다. 이와 같은 결과는 도심하천과 자연하천이 같은 유형의 서식처이지만 도심하천의 경우 양안 수변대와 제방구축, 하천정비, 고수부지의 시멘트화 등의 원인과 오염원의 유입, 풍부한유기물 때문인 것으로 판단된다.

  • In this paper, we propose a thread scheduling algorithm for faster packet processing on the network processors with multithreaded multiprocessor architecture. To implement the proposed algorithm. we derived several basic parameters related to the thread scheduling and included a new parameter representing the packet contents and the multithreaded architecture. Through the empirical study using a simulator, we proved the proposed scheduling algorithm provides better throughput and load balancing compared to the general thread scheduling algorithm.
