  • This study studied samples taken off surfaces at three sites (Unit chairs, light handles, cuspidors) of 19 dental hospitals and 28 clinics located in Gyeonggi-do and Incheon, South Korea. The bacterial contamination levels of surfaces were $44.82{\times}10^3CFU/mL$ in cuspidors, higher than in unit chairs ($5.47{\times}10^3CFU/mL$) and light handles ($16.28{\times}10^3CFU/mL$). The values were statistically higher at dental hospitals than at dental clinics, the greater number of patients being associated with the higher bacterial cell count in the cuspidors. The results of identifying the strains isolated purely from surfaces at dental clinic showed Gram positive 47.3% and Gram negative 52.7%. Among Gram positive, the most numberous bacteria were Micrococcus luteus (10.9%), Bacillus pumilus (3.6%), and Staphylococcus aureus (3.6%). Among Gram negative, the most numberous bacteria were Acinetobacter ursingii (5.5%), Brevundimonas diminuta (4.5%), Chryseobacterium (Flavo.) indologenes (CDC IIb) (4.5%), and Methylobacterium sp. (4.5%). This study measures the level of bacterial contamination and identifies the strains isolated in dental clinics. It recognizes the importance of infection control, and the results of the study may be considered as the basis for establishing specific plans for prevention of infection.

And the income was used for operation of health subcenters excluding personnel expense. 3. While 90.5% of visitors to the health subcenters came for general medical care, and 91.6% came for the revisit before the unification, after the unification 71.2% came for general medical care, 10.8% for dental care, 16.5% for oriental physician's care, 29.7% for the first visit and 70.3% for revisit. Most common problem cared for was musculoskeletal disorder like arthralgia. Average treatment cost per person per month was 9,363 won before the unification and 8,309 won after the unification. 4. Through the comparison of execution rate of public health services before and after the unification. the practice rate of most health service among target population including visiting service for chronic illness, maternal and child health service and immunization service increased after the unification. • With the recent development of digital dentistry, fully digitalized methods for fabricating dentures, using intraoral scans and computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM), are getting popular. Digital methods have the advantage of simplifying the fabrication process in the clinic and laboratory, supplementing digital data. This case report shows a fully digital fabrication method for interim removable dentures in a patient with anterior tooth loss in which implant placement is impossible or delayed. Interim removable dentures were fabricated using two methods. One method is printing tooth and base parts separately and combining, and the other method is printing the whole denture at one time and coloring on the base part. Afterward, dentures were delivered and adaptation was evaluated using the triple scan technique. The extracted site was scanned intraorally (first scan) and the interim removable denture was digitally scanned both intraorally (second scan) and, after removal extraorally (Third scan). In both method, denture adaptation was shown favorable. We report this case report as both the patient and the operator were satisfied with a simplified process using a fully digital method in the clinic.
