Behaviors of Frost Formation on a Plate Fin Considering Fin Heat Conduction (휜의 열전도를 고려한 평판 휜에서의 착상 거동)

  • 본 연구에서는 착상 조건 하에서 열교환기 휜의 열전도를 고려하여 휜 표면에서의 착상 거동을 예측하기 위하여 수학적 모델을 제시한다. 이 때, 공기측은 착상 현상에 대한 3차원 유동 변화의 영향을 고려한다. 서리층 두께에 대한 해석 결과는 실험 결과를 최대 10% 오차 내에서 잘 예측한다. 유동에 수직한 방향(z-dir.)의 서리층 두께 성장은 휜의 열전도에 의해 휜 바탕 근처에서 활발하고, 휜 끝으로 갈수록 지수함수적으로 둔화된다. 휜의 열전도를 고려한 경우에 비해 휜의 표면온도가 일정한 조건에서 서리층 두께는 최대 2배, 열전달량은 평군 10% 정도 과대 예측한다. 따라서, 열교환기 휜에서의 착상 거동을 정확하게 예측하기 위해 착상 모델 해석 시 휜의 열전도를 고려해야 한다. 휜의 열전도 고려 유무에 따른 착상 거동의 차이를 보완하기 위해 열전달량에 대한 등가온도를 산출하며, 이를 근거로 무차원 등가 온도 상관식을 도출한다.

Analysis of Stress Behavior on Field Welded Joints of U-rib in Steel Bridge (U리브 현장용접이음부 응력거동에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, stress analysis anda 3-point bending fatigue test were conducted on the full-scale specimen to investigate the effects of misalignment at the U-rib welded joint due to misfitting in the steel deck bridge. In addition, the researchers investigated the direction and starting point of fatigue cracks by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and beach mark. The results of the stress analysis show that maximum stress occurred at the bottom corner of the U-rib, and that the stress was large when the magnitude of the misalignment was large. On the other hand, the results of the static loading test of the full-scale specimen show that stress was large at the bottom corner of the U-rib. In addition, fatigue life was short when the misalignment was large and fatigue life was short when the misalignment was large and fatigue life was short when the misalignment was large and fatigue life was large when the misalignment was small, as indicated by the results of both the static loading test and the fatigue test. From the observation of the failure surface, fatigue cracks began manifesting at the root of the base metal and proceeded to the bead surface (weld toe).

Development of Millimeter wave Transmitter and Receiver for Long Distance Wireless Transmission Using NRD waveguide (NRD 가이드를 이용한 장거리 무선통신용 밀리미터파 대역 송수신기 개발)

  • In this paper, we fabricated along distance wireless communication transmitter and receiver over the 100 which used NRD technology. To make the transmitter and receiver of 400Hz band using the non radiative dielectric wave guide, transmitter was composed of gm oscillator, m modulator and antenna, receiver was composed of local gum oscillator, balanced mixer, 3dB direction coupler and antenna. Also we executed a wireless communication image transmission examination to the transmitter and receiver. We receive the image information in real-time data transmission from receiver after we send the image signal in the wireless distance of the 10km. Therefore, the 400Hz band U transmitter and receiver to be developed will be used widely for the transmission system CATV or broadband transmission system. This will be utilized also to the link device of a long distance high speed wireless communication network.

Analysis of the Flow over Broad Crested Side Weir by Using Three-Dimensional Numerical Simulation (3차원 수치모의를 이용한 광정횡월류위어의 흐름특성 해석)

  • In this study, we analyzed the flow characteristics in the wide-crested side weir of trapezoidal section by using a three dimensional numerical stimulation. From this study, as the Froude number increases in the main channel, the overflow discharge ratio and the discharge coefficient of lateral overflow tend to decrease. And it was also found that the increase of the lateral overflow reduces the channel discharge area in the downstream, and the size of recirculating zone is increasing in the opposite side of side weir. The stream-wise water surface on the side where the side weir is installed falls down rapidly in the weir starting point, gradually ascending, and rapidly rising at the end point. The reason why the water surface rapidly rises at the weir end point is because the weir end point hinders the flow.

  • 인체에서 발견되는 전체 신경초종중 $25{\sim}40%$가 두경부에서 발견되나 경부미주신경의 신경초종은 매우 희귀하여 1988년까지 영문문헌상 88 예가 보고되어 있다. 임상적으로 경부종괴가 주증상이며 때로는 애성, 종괴촉지시 기침 혹은 방사통, parapharyngeal space 의 종괴성장으로 연하곤란등이 초래되기도 한다. 치료는 종괴의 완전적출과 미주신경의 기능을 보존시키는 것이 주요 목표로 되어 있다. 저자들은 최근 5년간 4 예의 정부미주신경외 신경초종을 경험하였는데, 3 예는 측경부의 상부에, 1예는 측경부의 하부에 발생한 것이었다. 연령은 25세에서 50세까지 성인연령이었고, 성별은 남자 l 예, 여자 3 예이었다. 내원시 주소는 전예가 무통성 경부종괴이었으며, 종괴의 크기는 직경 3cm에서 10cm까지 다양하였다. 전예에서 종괴로 인한 신경학적 증상은 없었으나, 1 예에서 parapharyngeal space 의 거대종괴 때문에 다소간의 연하곤란이 있었다. 2 에에서는 종괴촉지시 기침이 유발됨을 호소하였다. 수술은 경부횡절개로 흉쇄유돌근을 제치고 총경 동맥과 내경정맥을 종괴의 상하부위가 완전히 노출되도록 박리한 후 종괴의 피막을 미주 신경의 주행방향에 따라 절개하여 적출 (enucleation) 하였다. 적출술시 종괴가 유착되어 있는 피막 부위는 동시에 절제하되 미주신경의 신경경로 (neural pathway) 는 유지되도록 하였다. 수술직후 2 예에서 일시적 애성을 호소하였다, 추적은 최단 20 개월에서 최장 80 개월까지 하였는데 일시적 애성은 호전되었고 전예가 재발없이 건강하게 지내고 있었다. 따라서 본 종양수술은 종양적출술시 이환된 미주신경의 절단을 결정하기 전에 신경경로를 유지시킬 수 있는 적출술 (enucleation) 을 먼저 고려하는 것이 바람직하다고 사료되었다.

An Implementation of Positioning System using Multiple Data in Smart Phone (스마트폰에서 다중데이터를 이용한 측위시스템 구현)

  • Recently, navigation system is used to inform users of vehicle location and driving direction, moving distance and so on. This navigation uses GPS sensor for current location determination. The GPS sensor will determinate current coordinates by using triangulation algorithm. This characteristic bring about that the GPS signal is not available in the shadow region such as tunnel and urban canyon. Moreover, Even though the signal is available, inherent positional error rate of the GPS often results in the dislocation of vehicle. To solve, these problems, a new positioning system is proposed in the paper. The System utilizes geomagnetic sensors of smartphone, speed information of CAN of vehicle though bluetooth and WiFi APs for GPS shadow area. The experimental test shadows that the proposed system using multiple data is able to determine the position of vehicle in GPS shadow areas.

Modeling of Tidal and Wind-Driven Currents in Eastern Coastal Waters of the Yellow Sea (황해동측 연안성의 조류 및 풍성류 모형)

  • This study uses a numerical model to investigate the circulation patterns of the tidal and wind driven current components. The model is vertically averaged 2-D transient using explicit nume-rical scheme, based on equation of motion and continuity. forced by water elevation at open boundaries and wind stress. The model domain extends from 35$^{\circ}$N to 36$^{\circ}$40'N lat., and 125$^{\circ}$E to 126$^{\circ}$40'E long. with x, y grid spacing of 5 km. The model reproduces the tide and tidal currents by 4 major constituents successfully with more than 90% accuracy when compared to two offshore tidal records and currents at one offshore measurements for 22 days. Responses of coastal waters to six schematic wind events are analyzed in terms of current distribution patterns and local features. Regardless of wind directions. strong coastal currents were produced. Bottom topography plays a critical role in producing a local eddy Held whose center is located offshore Pu An with its major radius of 40 km.

  • This paper proposes fingerprint-based positioning methods which can be used in a magnetic resonant wireless power transfer(WPT) system and verifies their performance. A new receiver coil with small orthogonal auxiliary coils is proposed to measure magnetic field signals in three axial directions. The magnitude and phase characteristics of the three-axis electromotive force can be obtained by using the proposed coil. To predict a position with the measured values, we propose a lookup table-based method and linear discriminant analysis-based method. For verification, the proposed methods are applied to predict 75 positions of the 6.78 MHz WPT system, and the performances such as accuracy and computation time are compared.

Study on the Water Movement in Jinhae Bay (진해만의 해수유동에 관하여)

  • Current observations were carried out in Jinhae Bay area during the period of January to February 1974. The data were synthetically analyzed and the characteristics of the water movement in Jinhae Bay were studied. The water movement in Jinhae Bay area is a reversing tidal current type and the Semi- diurnal tidal current is predominant. The ebb current begins at about high water time and the strongest current occurs at about 3 hour after high water. The flood current begins at 0.2-1.0 hour before low water and the strongest current occurs at about 3-4 hour after low water. The main ebb current flows to SE direction with the maximum welocity, about 100cm/sec and the lood flows to NW with the maximum velocity, about 70cm/sec. Generally, the ebb current in Jinhae Bay is more predominat than the flood current except at the west and the north coast area of Gadeog-do where the flood current is more predominant.

Strength of Compression Lap Splice in Confined Concrete (횡구속된 콘크리트에서 압축이음강도)

  • A compression lap splice can be calculated longer than a tension lap splice in high strength concrete according to current design codes. Including effects of transverse reinforcement, a compression splice becomes much longer than a tension splice. Effects of transverse reinforcement on strength and behavior of compression lap splice, which always exist in actual structures, have been investigated through experimental study of column tests with concrete strength of 40 and 60 MPa. Confined specimens have twice of calculated strengths by current design codes. New design equations for the compression lap splice including the effects of transverse reinforcement are required for practical purpose of ultra-high strength concrete. End bearing is enhanced by transverse reinforcement placed at ends of splice not by transverse reinforcement within splice length. As more transverse reinforcement are placed, the stresses developed by bond linearly increase. The transverse reinforcements at ends of splice a little improve the strength by bond.
