Effect of Interface on Thermal Conductivity of Clad Metal through Thickness Direction for Heat Sink (히트 싱크용 클래드메탈에서 두께 방향의 열전도 특성에 미치는 계면의 영향)

  • A study on thermal properties for a single-layer metal and a 2-ply metal (clad metals) was investigated for the application of heat sink. For the single-layer metal, a stainless steel (STS) and an aluminum (Al) were selected. Also, a roll bonded clad metal with STS and Al was chosen for the 2-ply metal. The thermal conductivity of the sample was obtained from the thermal diffusivity measured by the light flash analysis (LFA), specific heat and density. Measured thermal property values were compared with the calculated values using the data from the references. For the single-layer metal, measured values for the thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity were smaller than calculated values. Differences between measured and calculated values were about 6% and 18% for the STS and Al samples, respectively. For the clad metals, however, a large difference (55%) was observed. Here, a relatively small thermal conductivity measured by LFA was due to the existence of a interface between STS and Al in the clad metal. Such a interface reduces the moving velocity of free electrons and phonons in the clad metal. For the development of a high performance heat-issipation module with the multi-layer structure, the control of interface properties which determine thermal properties was confirmed to be important.

Basic study on development of the radon measurement system in groundwater stations for the seismic monitoring and prediction (지진모니터링과 예측을 위한 지하수관측소내 라돈 측정시스템 개발 기초연구)

  • This study developed the radon measurement system that can be used for crustal movement monitoring and seismic occurrence and prediction, and compared and analyzed the results of test-operated radon measurement system and observed seismic occurrence cases. First, the developed radon measurement system consists of an NB-IoT radon measurement device, data center, data analysis, and data supply server. Because the measured radon data can be remotely trasmitted by using NB-IoT, this system is very suitable for installation and operation in unmaaned groundwater station. Second, the developed radon measurement device was test-operated at two groundwater stations in Gimpo from May to July 2019. The measured radon data was compared with the groundwater-level and electrical conductivity measurement data, and it was confirmed that the radon measurement device developed in this study has some potential for commercialization. Finally, from November 2019 to February 2020, three observed seismic cases and daily measured radon, groundwater-level, electrical conductivity data by the NB-IoT radon measurement device installed at three groundwater stations in Pohang, which is a test-bed, were compared and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the seismic occurrence correlated with radon, groundwater level, and electrical conductivity and all of these measured data will be able to provide basic data to help in seismic monitoring and prediction in the future.

  • Transglutaminase(TGase) 첨가가 튀긴 어묵의 레올로지 특성에 미치는 영향이 평가되었다. 최적의 TGase 함량과 setting시간은 저온$(25^{\circ}C)$ setting에서는 0.1%와 180분이었고, 고온$(40^{\circ}C)$ setting에서는 0.3%와 80분으로 각각 결정되었다. 각각의 최적조건에서의 겔 강도는 $25^{\circ}C$에서는 TGase를 첨가한 겔이 첨가하지 않은 겔보다 최대 750(g cm)도 증가했으며, $40^{\circ}C$에서는 약 800(g cm)정도의 증가를 보여주었다. 동적 점탄성의 setting 측정 결과로부터 TGase 첨가 시료는 $25^{\circ}C$인 경우 G#과 G@ 값이 각각 1.0 kPa과 0.5 kPa 정도 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, $40^{\circ}C$ 경우는 G#과 G@ 값이 각각 15 kPa과 2.2 kPa 정도 증가함을 보여 주었다. 동적 점탄성의 가열-냉각 측정 결과에서도 $25^{\circ}C$$40^{\circ}C$ setting 모두에서 G#, G@ 값이 $5{\sim}15\;kPa$ 정도 증가함을 나타났다.

Analysis and Improvement of Growing Environment of Two Tier Cropping Systems in Plastic Film House (플라스틱 온실내 2단 재배 시스템의 생육환경분석 및 개선)

  • This study aims at analyzing environment factors of two tier cropping systems and suggesting effective structures of two tier cropping systems. The environment factors in two tier cropping systems are temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, temperature of nutrient solution, and wind velocity. Especially, The most important factors are the solar radiation and the solar incident area between the two tiers. During the experiment, observations were made of the two levels in the plastic greenhouse. The highest temperatures were 38.3$^{\circ}C$ in the top level and, 35.5$^{\circ}C$ in the bottom level, respectively. The temperature of the nutrient solution between the two levels showed little difference. The relative humidity in the top level was 60~7o% and that in the bottom 65~80%, exhibiting that the bottom is approximately 10% higher. Change of photosynthetic photon flux density and solar radiation both have a tendency to be similar. The wind velocities for both levels were recorded at 0.1m.s$^{-1}$ in the afternoon and 0.05m.s$^{-1}$ in the evening. The solar incident areas in the bottom level increased by approximately 25% at an East-West position and 17.7% at a South-North position, respectively.

Effects of an Aspirated Radiation Shield on Temperature Measurement in a Greenhouse (강제 흡출식 복사선 차폐장치가 온실의 기온측정에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was designed to examine the performance of an aspirated radiation shield(ARS), which was made at the investigator's lab and characterized by relatively easier making and lower costs based on survey data and reports on errors in its measurements of temperature and relative humidity. The findings were summarized as follows: the ARS and the Jinju weather station made measurements and recorded the range of maximum, average, and minimum temperature at $2.0{\sim}34.1^{\circ}C$, $-6.1{\sim}22.2^{\circ}C$, $-14.0{\sim}15.1^{\circ}C$ and $0.4{\sim}31.5^{\circ}C$, $-5.8{\sim}22.0^{\circ}C$, $-14.1{\sim}16.3^{\circ}C$, respectively. There were no big differences in temperature measurements between the two institutions except that the lowest and highest point of maximum temperature was higher on the campus by $1.6^{\circ}C$ and $2.6^{\circ}C$, respectively. The measurements of ARS were tested against those of a standard thermometer. The results show that the temperature measured by ARS was lower by $-2.0^{\circ}C$ or higher by $1.8^{\circ}C$ than the temperature measured by a standard thermometer. The analysis results of its correlations with a standard thermometer reveal that the coefficient of determination was 0.99. Temperature was compared between fans and no fans, and the results show that maximum, average, and minimum temperature was higher overall with no fans by $0.5{\sim}7.6^{\circ}C$, $0.3{\sim}4.6^{\circ}C$ and $0.5{\sim}3.9^{\circ}C$, respectively. The daily average relative humidity measurements were compared between ARS and the weather station of Jinju, and the results show that the measurements of ARS were a little bit higher than those of the Jinju weather station. The measurements on June 27, July 26 and 29, and August 20 were relatively higher by 5.7%, 5.2%, 9.1%, and 5.8%, respectively, but differences in the monthly average between the two institutions were trivial at 2.0~3.0%. Relative humidity was in the range of -3.98~+7.78% overall based on measurements with ARS and Assman's psychometer. The study analyzed correlations in relative humidity between the measurements of the Jinju weather station and those of Assman's psychometer and found high correlations between them with the coefficient of determination at 0.94 and 0.97, respectively.

  • 수문학 분야에서 가장 어려움을 겪고 있는 것 중의 하나는 정도 높은 수문자료의 부재이다. 특히, 유량자료의 경우 그 중요성에 비해 자료의 정확도가 매우 떨어지고 있어 수자원 계획 및 운영, 수문설계, 수질관리, 관련 기초연구 등에서 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 것이 현실이다. 부정확한 유량자료는 예산의 부족, 전담인력의 부재, 전문장비의 미비 등 하드웨어 측면에서 근본적인 원인이 있는 것으로 판단되나, 유량자료의 처리절차가 실제적으로 이루어지지 않는 데에도 중요한 한 원인이 있다. 따라서 이러한 소프트웨어 측면의 원인을 보완하기 위하여 2004년 건설교통부 유량측정사업에서 자료처리절차를 강화하는 유량측정 검증시스템을 도입하여 운영한 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 건설교통부의 유량측정사업의 효율적 수행을 위해 처음 도입된 유량측정 검증시스템을 소개하고, 섬진강과 낙동강 수계에 적용하여 개선된 유량자료의 결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • 현재 ISO 에서는 공구제조업체에서 해당 공구의 수전달 진동을 측정하여 제시하도록 하는 규격을 제정 중에 있으며, 이를 위해서는 공구에서 발생하는 진동과 영향을 평가하는 기술이 확보되어야 하며, 이 과정에서 측정 불확도 수준을 결정하는 것이 매우 중요하다고 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 동력 공구 작업시 작업자의 손으로 전달되는 진동을 측정하고 그 영향을 평가함에 있어서 발생할 수 있는 불확도를 분석하였다. 먼저, ISO 5349 규격을 적용함에 있어서 존재하는 불확도 인자들을 분류하고, 각 인자들이 어느 정도 수준의 불확도를 발생시키는지 시험을 통해서 확인하고 분석하였다.

  • 화염중에 존재하는 이온 및 전자의 전기적 성질을 이용하여 연소실내의 화염전파속도를 파악하기 위해 실린더 헤드에 이온 프로브를 삽입하여 천연가스 및 가솔린의 화염전파속도를 측정하였다. 본 연구에 이용된 이온전류장치 설계에 의한 방법은 광학적 측정 장비에 비해 간단하며 쉽게 측정할 수 있고 가격도 저렴하고 응답성도 우수하였다. 이온 프로브의 제작과 신호처리에 관한 기초적인 지식을 얻었으며 천연가스 및 가솔린의 연소시 연소압력의 상승지점과 이온발생지점이 일관성있게 나타났다. 기관회전수의 증가에 따라서 연소실내의 화염전파속도가 증가했으며 같은 연소조건이라고 할 수 있는 동일 기관회전수, 당량비의 조건에서 점화시간에 대한 화염전파속도를 비교해 보면 메탄의 경우가 이론치보다 6 ms∼9 ms 정도 늦었다. 또한, 메탄가스 및 가솔린에 대해 이온 전류강도 및 화염 도달시간을 측정하였으며 연소실 벽면에서는 열전달에 의한 냉각효과로인해 화염 전파속도 및 이온농도가 감소했다.

  • The affected factors for an accuracy of theodolite system are not only the measurement environment of temperature, illumination, etc. but also the measurement processes of the distance between two theodolites, the distance from theodolite system to scale bar and the distance from theodolite system to targets. We have known that the best collimation distance between two theodolites and the best distance from theodolite system to scale bar is $3{\sim}4m$. This study was performed for searching the best distance from theodolite system to targets on above measurement configuration. And, we could know that the best distance from theodolite system to targets is $2{\sim}6m$ and the system accuracy could be within ${\pm}0.025mm$.
