Statistical analysis of the energy for cable cutting (케이블 절단에 필요한 에너지 통계적 분석)

  • We performed Instron and Impact tests to estimate necessary explosive charge weight for cutting the cable whose diameter is 22 mm. The cutting energy measured by Instron was 21.3 J. Impact test were performed 8 times each at 5 different energies. The Impact test results were analysed by Probit methods. The cutting energy was calculated 37.7 J with 99.99% probability at 99% confidence, which is roughly equivalent to 250 mg of Zirconium potassium Perchlorate (ZPP).

  • 본 논문에서는 신경망을 재귀적으로 사용하여 문장에서 지시 표현을 추출하고 분석하는 방법에 대해서 제안한다. 임의의 문장이 들어올 때, 문장을 구성하는 각 단어들은 통사론적 자질 벡터와 의미론적 자질 벡터로 나눌 수 있다. 이들 벡터들의 쌍을 인자로써 입력받는 신경망 구조를 제시할 수 있으며, 신경망의 출력 결과는 다시 재귀적으로 쌍인자 신경망에 입력으로써 주입된다. 신경망을 재귀적으로 학습시킴으로써, 문장 내의 지시 표현을 추출할 수 있다. 쌍인자 신경망 파싱 모델의 성능을 측정했고, 제안한 모델의 문제점과 가능성에 대해서 관찰하였다.

  • 최근 들어 가뭄과 국지성 호우 등의 기상이변이 지속적으로 발생하고 있으며, 이는 국민 삶의 발전과 향상에 밀접한 관계가 있는 것으로 전세계적으로 이에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 특히 댐의 효율적 관리와 안정적인 운영은 홍수피해 방지, 안정적인 용수공급과 같은 국민 생활과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있어 수자원의 효율적인 운영과 이용은 장기적인 관점을 통하여 수립해야 한다. 이와 같이 댐 유입량의 예측은 유출모형의 목적 중 중요한 부분으로 확정론적 모형이 시 혹은 일유량과 같은 매우 짧은 시간의 유출을 예측하는데 주로 사용되지만 이는 매개변수의 추정이 불가능하거나 실제유역에서의 측정이 불가능 할 경우에는 모형적용에 한계가 있다. 이에 반해 추계학적 모형에 의한 유출예측은 장기간의 유출을 과거자료의 통계학적 특성변수를 매개변수로 하여 예측하는 방법으로 모형의 적용에 필요한 매개변수가 적어 그 적용성이 간편한 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 계절형 ARIMA모형을 적용하여 과거자료의 적용범위, 매개변수의 산정, 적합성 판정에 대하여 판단하고, 이 모형이 월유입량의 예측에 적합한지를 검토하였다.

  • 허블 텐션이란 허블우주망원경으로 관측한 허블상수 값과 플랑크 위성으로 측정한 허블상수 값이 일치하지 않는 문제를 일컬으며 현재 우주론에서 주목 받는 이슈 중 하나이다. 밀도가 작은 지역에선 약한 중력으로 공간의 팽창이 빠르고, 반대로 밀도가 큰 지역에서는 팽창이 느리다. 만약, 우리 근처에서 상대적으로 낮은 밀도 때문에 팽창 속도의 차이가 생긴다면 허블 텐션의 원인을 쉽게 설명할 수 있다. 이 문제를 구체적으로 다루기 위해, 우리는 우주 상수를 고려한 아인슈타인 중력의 구형 우주론 풀이인 Lambda-Lemaître-Tolman (ΛLT) 모형을 사용하였다. 우리로부터 먼 현상은 기존의 ΛCDM(Λ cold dark matter) 모형으로, 가까운 현상은 국소적인 LT 모형으로 기술함으로써 허블 텐션 문제를 해결하고자 하였다. 또한, 마코프 체인 몬테 칼로 (MCMC) 방법을 적용하여 천문 관측 결과를 잘 맞추는 ΛLT 모형의 변수들을 탐색하였다.

  • As worldwide efforts to reduce global warming gases, the construction Industry is endeavoring to diminish carbon dioxides emissions. Especially, by introducing the LCA methodology to the industry, A variety of related studies to measure the emission of carbon dioxides have been conducted. However, when the conventional LCA methodology is applied to the construction projects, some limitations have been reported. To overcome the restrictions derived from the industry characteristics, this research suggested the Activity-based LCA model by applying the Activity-based Costing (ABC), which breaks down the whole life cycles into more detailed stages. By implementing the newly developed model, forecasting accuracy of $CO_2$ emission was elevated, and the critical control points on carbon dioxides were established. Through the case study of aluminium curtain-wall system, this research verified the usefulness of the Activity-based LCA.

  • The purpose of this study is to find trend & paradigm of national image ; to review process to be global corporate ; to evaluate brand value of SAMSUNG. Researcher made a study with SWOT analysis and depth survey interview about Interaction and influence between national image and global corporate. The result reveal five type that divided '1 ; Nation-Leading Type(n=10)', '2 ; International Superiority Type(n=6)', '3 ; Typical Influence Type(n=4)'. It found that is very different type. In conclusion, it was ascertained a proposition about 'growth of global corporate is in accord with development of brand value in Korea' through this study. Above all, in this article, the result of this works was provide a momentum ; it is the diverse effects to the global corporate inside and outside of the country.

  • Real options valuation models are now proved as a effective valuation method both in Theoretically and empirically. However, to use real options model for early stage start-ups, additional non-financial information is crucial in the valuation process. Previous studies theoretically suggested the modified real options valuation model and process to use non-financial information in the valuation of early stage startups, but there is no empirical evidence on the suggested model. Therefore, this study investigated the effectiveness of the modified real options valuation model using a case study. The case study result showed that the modified real options valuation effectively reflect the non-financial information in early stage startups, and decrease the forecasting error in the valuation process.

  • This study investigated the types of intention to use micro-blogging service. In this study, we classified micro-blogging users' motivations using Q methodology which enables measure objectivity with subjective activity like individual thinking and feeling. The results of this study showed that micro-blogging service users' motivationswere classified into four types. Type 1 is 'relationship oriented type' and Type 2 is 'self-expression type.' Type 3 is 'time consumption type' and Type 4 is 'information seeking type.' The findings imply that the characteristics of each user type can be utilized to customize micro-blogging services.

  • With the growing international consensus regarding sustainable development of transportation, the plan of transportation infrastructure needs to meet various requirements toward enhancing environmental conditions. Accordingly, the upcoming long-term plan of high-speed rail network has to be reflecting the sustainability of transportation systems. In this paper, we propose methodologies based on multi-attribute utility theory for determining priorities of sustainable high-speed rail investment. The proposed methodologies identify indicators for sustainable transportation systems such as economic, environmental, social, and transportation-related ones and then, explain the way how to evaluate the overall sustainability by comparing the relative importance among indicators. This will help transportation agencies to prioritize high-speed rail investment toward sustainable transportation systems.

  • The size and length of road tunnels have been gradually expanded as industry developed. Consequently, the risk has been increased. The decision making process for ventilation system for road tunnels involves a large amount of information on economic feasibility, construction methods, and safety etc. In situation where systematically structured decision making process is unavailable, almost decisions about ventilation systems are made based on engineers' private knowledge and experiences. Procedure and criteria to choose the best optimized ventilation system among many alternatives are proposed, breaking away from the economic dependency-oriented decision making. This paper presents a Multi-Attribute Utility Theory and AHP based function with which planners can calculate overall utility of each alternative. It is anticipated that the effective use of the proposed methodology for decision making on ventilation systems ould be able to reduce the likelihood of the occurrence of potential safety risks as well as increase the overall ventilation performance.
