We did a through research of factors on the motivation of job seeking and those of job search scheme which are independent variables. We also verified the effects of factors of stable job composition, job seeking surroundings and job selection which are dependent variables. Hence we conducted a survey among polytech college students, studying relationship between factors of dependent variable and independent one. We also analyzed whether motivation of career seeking affects job search plot by utilizing SEM based on AMOS 5.0. The consequence of the research is that stable job and job selection factor were rejected, for they do not highly affect motivation of job seeking. And the factors of job seeking environment (establishment of collaboration between businesses and colleges, hands-on guidance at workplace and the guidance for enhancement of vocational capability), which are dependent variables, were chosen because they are the affirmative factors of motivation of job seeking. After all, they are the crucial factors of job search plan.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate major selection motivation, major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and career preparation behavior as well as identify influencing factors on the career preparation behavior of nursing students. The data were collected using questionnaires filled out by 208 nursing students in their junior and senior years at two universities in Jeollanam-do and Gyenggi-do, from November 1, 2018 to December 20, 2018. Data ware analyzed by using the SPSS Win 22.0 program (frequency, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis). The mean score of career preparation behavior was 2.74±0.70 (range:1-5). There was a significant positive correlation between major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and career preparation behavior. For the multiple regression analysis, meaningful variables that significantly influenced career preparation behavior were nursing professionalism and general characteristics (grade, career preparation period). These factors explained 21.5% of the variance. Improvement of the above meaningful variables allowed better career preparation behavior. The results show that among students with weak meaningful variables, improvement of the above meaningful variables can improve job preparing behavior. In order to improve career preparation behavior, a career preparation program should be developed that reflects meaningful variables.

  • The purpose of this article is to examine the change of employment expectation using the wave 7-11 (2010-2014) of Korea Education and Employment Panel(KEEP). The three main variables are the reservation wage, which has been studied by labor economists for a long time, the convenient working environment factor, the desired job factor. Last two of which are extracted from the 15 survey questions about employment expectation using the factor analysis. Our estimates suggest that male have a higher reservation wage than female while female have a higher level of expectation overall. Women attach more importance to working environment especially. Also, university students have a higher reservation wage and set a higher value on the desired job than employees and job seekers.
