A Study on the Characteristics Assessment and Fabrication of Distribution Board according to KEMC Standards (KEMC 규정에 의한 분전반의 제작 및 특성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • This study fabricated a low-voltage 10 circuit distribution board based on the KEMC (Korea Electrical Manufacturers Cooperative) 2102-610 standard and performed a characteristics assessment of the developed 10 circuit distribution board to secure product stability. The developed 10 circuit distribution board is designed to have the characteristics of insulation materials, as well as resistance to corrosion ultraviolet radiation and mechanical impact. The developed distribution board is fabricated to have an appropriate protection class of enclosure, electric shock prevention and protection circuits, switchgear and its components, internal electrical circuits and connectors, external conduct terminal, insulation characteristics, temperature rise test, heat resistance, etc. The developed 10 circuit distribution board consists of a single phase circuit and 3-phase circuits. It is possible to measure in real time the leakage current generated from the load distribution line by installing a sensor module at the load side of each of the branched switchgears. In addition, it is possible to increase a circuit according to the use and purpose of the load and to also manage and check the load in real time. Temperature rise tests were performed on the developed 10 circuit distribution board at 18 places including the inlet connection, main circuit and distribution circuit bus bars and bus bar supports, etc. The highest temperature of $65.3^{\circ}C$ was measured at the R-Phase of the connection of the MCCB power supply for the branch circuit bus bar and a temperature rise of $61.6^{\circ}C$ was measured at the T-Phase of the load side. When applying thermal stress to an MCCB for 6 hours at $180^{\circ}C$ using a heat resistant experimental device, it was found that the actuator lever was transformed and moved in the tripped state.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of Growth Hormone promotin and kinetic factors on Growth Hormone Activated Shoes. The results of the present study were as follows; First, there was a significient difference between a normal shoes and the Growth Hormone activated shoes in the student's GH secretion with running test, and there was a significant interaction effect between shoes and distance. therefore it can be assumed that there is a significant effect of GH secretion in student at growth period during running with Growth Hormine Activated Shoes. Second, Within 4km walking, Growth Hormone secretion was in creased averagely in student. Third, Growth Hormone Activated Shoes make a large load for light motion as walking. For heavy motion as running, it make a large impulsion but good pressure distribution and small loading rate.

Analytical Study on the Gas-Solid Suspension Flows through Sonic and Supersonic Nozzles (음속 및 초음속 노즐을 통한 Gas-Solid Suspension 유동에 대한 해석적 연구)

  • A considerable deal of work has been carried out to get an insight into the gas-solid suspension flows and to specify the particle motion and its influence on the gas flow field. In this paper an attempt is made to develop an analytical model to study the effect of nozzle inlet/exit pressure ratio, particle/gas loading and the particle diameter effect on gas-solid suspension flow. The effect of the particle/gas loading on the mass flow, Mach number, thrust coefficient and static pressure variation through the nozzle is analyzed. The results obtained show that the presence of particles seems to reduce the strength of the shock wave. It is also found that smaller the particle diameter is, bigger will be the velocity as bigger particle will have larger slip velocity. The suspension flow of smaller diameter particles has almost same trend as that of single phase flow with ideal gas as working fluid. Depending on the ambient pressure, the thrust coefficient is found to be higher for larger particle/gas loading or back pressure ratio.

  • The purpose of this paper is to review changes in articular cartilage properties from the joint immobilization. Joint immobilization is accompanied not only by many disorders including rheumatologic disorders, degenerative disorders, trauma and fracture but treatment for disorders. Articular cartilage are sensitive to mechanical events. Immobilization is associated with cartilage degradation that may cause joint pain and reduced range of motion. An understanding of the effects of immobilization on the articular cartilage will help to plan of physical therapy program

Effects of Single and Repeated Electroconvulsive Shock on the Acetylcholine and Polyamine Contents in Temporal Cortex and Decorticated Cerebrum of Mice (경련성 전기충격에 의하여 나타나는 측뇌-피질과 피질을 제외한 대뇌의 Acetylcholine및 Polyamine 함량-변동에 관한 연구)

  • There are some rather conflicting reports correlating ECS-induced changes of brain acetylcholine, and recently, Zawia and Bondy(1990) proposed the biological role of polyamine system in the long-term adaptive responses of brain to electrical stimulation. This study was undertaken to evaluate the effects of a single or repeated ECS(10mA, 100cps, 1sec; 5 ECS spread out over 9 days) on the brain acetylcholine(ACh) and polyamine contents of male mice. The ACh contents of temporal cortex(TCx) and decorticated cerebrum(dc-CB) were markedly increased by 79.9% and 49.4%, respectively, 10 and 30 min after ECS, and the increases were significantly attenuated with repeated 5 ECS, particularly in dc-CB. The putrescine concentrations of both TCx and dc-CB were little different and not affected by 1 ECS or 5 ECS. But the spermidine(Sd) concentration was higher in dc-CB and spermine(Sm) higher in TCx. While they were moderately decreased after 1 ECS, and their decreases were accentuated after 5 ECS, particularly in dc-CB.Sm(30mg/kg, i.p. inject. 30min before ECS) did not affect the ECS-induced increase of ACh content. Thease results suggest that both of brain ACh and polyamine may be implicated with the long-term adaptive responses to electrical stimulation

  • 오늘날 산업용 차량은 대부분 유압식 클러치를 채택하여 사용하고 있다 유압식 클러치는 운전자가 손쉽게 엔진으로부터 동력을 바퀴까지 전달 또는 차단하는 기능을 갖고 있기 때문이다. 차량속도에 대한 운전자의 다양한 요구는 다수의 변속 단수를 갖는 기어트레인이나 연속가변식 변속기(CVT) 원하고 있다. 그 중에 기어단을 단속하는 클러치는 엔진의 회전력과 차량 관성력을 효과적으로 연결 또는 차단을 위해 다수의 마찰판과 유체압력을 이용하여 작동된다. 유압식 클러치는 동작방식에 따라서 유체압력이 작동하면 동력을 전달하는 POSITIVE방식과 자체 탄성 스프링력에 의해서 동력을 전달하는 NEGATIVE방식이 있다. POSITIVE방식 유압식 클러치는 동력전달시 어큐뮬레이터를 이용하여 충격을 줄이고, 부하 변동시 승차감각을 향상할 수 있는 장점이 있다 TRX500 트랙터에 사용되는 유압식 클러치는 POSITIVE방식을 채택하고 있다. (중략)

  • 전기를 에너지원으로 사용하는 각 종 부하는 가정, 공장 및 상가 등에 널리 분산되어 있고, 여기에 전기를 생산 공급하는 발전기도 지역적으로 분산되어 병렬운전이 되고 있다. 새로운 발전기가 병렬운전에 참여하기 위해서는 기존 운전되고 있는 전력계통과의 전압, 주파수, 상회전, 위상이 일치하여야 한다. 만약 이들 조건이 갖추어지지 않은 상태에서 임의 병렬 접속을 시도하게 되면 해당 발전기는 물론 전체 계통에 충격과 손상을 초래할 수 있다. 양측의 전압과 주파수 비교는 상용 계측기를 사용하여 비교적 쉽게 할 수 있느나, 상회전 방향과 위상차의 판별에는 세심한 주의가 필요하다. 최근의 발전기에는 병렬 운전 조건을 자동으로 조정, 확인을 하는 장치를 채용하고 있으며 구체적인 회로구성과 동작원리를 여기에서 살펴보았다. 병렬 접속이 이루어진 후 발전기 별 전력 분담과, 계통 주파수 변동에 따라 자동으로 발전기 출력 제어가 이루어지는 기능이 터빈 조속기 측에 설정되어 사용된다.

  • Improvement of the solid-liquid separation efficiency in the secondary sedimentation tank of the biological treatment process, is known to be increasing effectiveness of the overall system operation. Sewage treatment plant effluent SS is composed of most organic substances. In order to reduce the SS component in the secondary sedimentation tank discharge, fine SS components constituting the heterogeneous should be increased by its own aggregation (self flocculation), so that can be deleted through their precipitation. So, it is improved through using the installation of double rectification wall in this secondary tank. In case, sewage is rapidly increased due to the daily change of the influent water, it was confirmed that suspended solids caused by the impact load are processed stably. Therefore, there is a need for a facility installation which can be its own aggregation for reduction suspended solids in secondary sedimentation tank.

  • The full depth excavation induces couple of technical and social problems like increase of construction cost and time for excavation and backfill, increase of public complains and delay of traffic, and so force. In order to overcome these problems, lots of laboratory tests were carried out for sewer pipeline of maintenance materials with trenchless methods. The testing materials are PVC strip and then the lab tests were followed by Korean Standard. We will treat the structure safety and pipe integrity of PVC profile more excellent than the profile have application to SPR. There is no side-effect to process and to satisfy the criteria of tensile strength, impact strength and softening temperature. The profile with resin adhesive showed no leakage of water at specific pressure.

Damage Evaluation of Glass Fiber/PET Composite Using Acoustic Emission Method (음향방출법을 이용한 Glass Fiber/PET 복합재료의 손상평가)

  • In this study, damage evaluation of glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites was investigated with acoustic emission method. Specimens of 1.7mm thickness laminate were made from PET and 7 layers o171ass fabrics. Notch and impact loading were added to the specimen and normal tensile test and tensile test with the dead load were carried out. AE signal was measured as the functions of notch ratio to the width0 and impact energy in order to find out the correlation between fracture mode and AE parameters. The result has shown that low amplitude of AE signal was due to the microcrack of matrix and its growth, whereas the amplitude in the mid range was the response to the delamination and interfacial separation. In the range of high amplitude above 90dB. the fracture of glass fabric was found. Tensile strength decreased with increasing notch ratio to the width and impact energy because of tile effect or delamination, the cracking of matrix and stress concentration. In proportion to the size of damaged area. AE signal showed its wider range of frequency and energy as well as increased number of hits.
