A Study of Vein Identification System using 2D-Gabor Filter for the Vessel USN Entrance/Exit Management (선박USN 출입관리를 위한 2차원 Gabor 필터를 이용한 정맥 인식 방법에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose the biometrics system using hand vein pattern. This system is for management about person's entrance/exit in vessel USN. we select the biometrics method using hand vein pattern as adoptable method to vessel USN environment. Our experimental results show that preprocessing using two dimensional gabor filter achieves performance improvements over high pass filtering. Also, we compared our method with measured FAR(False Acceptance Rate) and FRR(False Rejection Rate) using pattern matching, the results show low error rate over high pass filtering. As a result, we verify the adoptability of biometrics system using hand vein pattern in management of person's entrance/exit in vessel.

An Intelligent CCTV-Based Emergency Detection System for Rooftop Access Control Problems (옥상 출입 통제 문제 해결을 위한 지능형 CCTV 기반 비상 상황 감지 시스템 제안)

  • With advancements in artificial intelligence technology, intelligent CCTV systems are being deployed across various environments, such as river bridges and construction sites. However, a conflict arises regarding the opening and closing of rooftop access points due to concerns over potential accidents and crime incidents and their role as emergency evacuation spaces. While the relevant law typically mandates the constant opening of designated rooftop access points, closures are often tacitly permitted in practice for security reasons, with a lack of appropriate legal measures. In this context, this study proposes a detection system utilizing intelligent CCTV to respond to emergencies that may occur on rooftops. We develop a system based on the YOLOv5 object detection model to detect assault and suicide attempts by jumping, introducing a new metric to assess them. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system rapidly detects assault and suicide attempts with high accuracy. Additionally, through a legal analysis of rooftop access point management, deficiencies in the legal framework regarding rooftop access and CCTV installation are identified, and improvement measures are proposed. With technological and legal improvements, we believe that crime and accident incidents in rooftop environments will decrease.

  • RFID is Playing a central role in ubiquitous technology according with the advent of the ubiquitous era, and the development of an RFID reader is also emerging as an important technical development field. In this paper, we developed a hardware system which is able to make use of the 13.56MHz RFID infrastructure being used as a transportation card, a credit card, and so on as well as the 125KHz RFID infrastructure being used in security company, and which is applicable to a location identification, an entrance and exit control, and security control over the TCP/IP communication. The existing local RFID methods have some problems which bottlenecks such as administrative problems, technical problems, and so force frequently occur because a casual server is placed and operated in a company. Hence, in this paper we developed an RFID multi reader which is connected to a central administrable server over the TCP/IP in order to solve these problems, and we make it be possible to keep an security control and be easy to install, transfer and administrate RFID infrastructures.

  • Today the use of RFID is extended in medical. circulation market, manufacture, security field, etc. Besides, the book-lending and the attendance management system are on an increasing trend in the use of RFID The developed dormitory management system is composed of a support program, a room management program, a manager program, and a mobile program etc.. In the support program a student(or a manager) can see his(or all member's) entrance and exit history. The room management program decides whether a student can enter the dormitory or not and manages the use of the power after or inquiring a RFID's input tag information into database server. The manager program is able to input and modify a room state and the fixtures information in the room required to operate the room management program, to set up and retrieve a student's entrance and exit information and a room state information. The mobile program enables a manager to check student's identity whether he is in or out, and the manager can know the personal information of being out in detail.

  • So far the study of digital home has mainly been made up of the network technology and the sorority system, but the application to consider the discriminatory characteristics of the individual family members has been interested in comparison with the necessity. The system proposed in this study is to get the information of the internal users through the access-controlling system. The controller offers the discriminatory environment by activating the database of the internal users and controls the sub-system of the home-network. The suggested system can automatically offer the discriminatory environment among the family members by limiting TV programs or channels according to the users' age, by offering other internet environment according to the users, by putting restrictions on telephone numbers, or by restricting the settling right of the home-shopping companies.

  • In this paper, a system that implementation of Access Control System Using Biometric System. Biometrics is science which deals with verifying or recognizing using physiological or behavioral characteristic Access Control System uses Biometric system to make an access control system. Biometrics goes under the study of bio-recognition or bio-measurement. It is a technology or study that identifies individuals using one's Biometric character. Access control system is a system used to identify one's entrance and exit, personal management, and security. Access control system can be joined with Biometric system to produce easier use and more sufficient effects. Access control system using Wiegand (Data Format) signal output, can replace earlier RF Card systems and make an access control (security) system. It uses RS-232, Rs-422 or TCP/IP type communication with the computer so an embedded system can be controlled using the software.

  • In general, automatic access control management system using smart door-lock must be always exposed to security vulnerability during wireless communication based on Bluetooth. In particular, important information such as a secrete key can be exposed to the attacker when the authentication protocol has been operating in the wireless section. Therefore important information exchanged in the radio section needs to be properly encrypted. In order to analyze security vulnerability for automatic access control management system of public facilities such as subway vent, GNU Radio platform and HackRF device will be considered and experimented. Proposed experimental system to perform software based power analysis attack could be very effectively applied. As a result, important information such as packet type, CRC, length of data, and data value can be easily decoded from wireless packet obtained from HackRF device on GNU Radio platform. Constructed experimental system will be applied to avoid some security problems.

  • 신원확인을 위하여 생체정보를 수집하거나, 이용하는 데 있어서 준수하여야 할 생체정보 보호대책에 관한 중요사항을 정함으로써 생체정보의 안전한 이용 환경을 조성하고, 개인의 권리와 이익을 보호하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본고에서는 유무선 통신환경에서 생체정보가 수집${\cdot}$저장${\cdot}$전송${\cdot}$폐기 전 과정에서 발생 가능한 취약점과 위협을 정의하고, 이에 대한 기술적${\cdot}$관리적 보호대책에 대한 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다. 한편, ITU-T, ISO 등 국제 표준 및 국내 TTA 단체 규격 등과 호환 가능하도록 보안대책을 제시함으로서 국가 간의 생체정보에 대한 보호조치 방안에 관하여 상호 연동성을 보장한다. 본고는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 생체인식 국가인프라가 구축되는 시점에서 발생할 수 있는 생체정보에 대한 불신감과 인권침해 등의 사회적인 논란을 최소화하고 개인의 생체정보 보호기술의 발전과 관련 응용서비스 활성화에 기여할 것이다. 또한 전자여권${\cdot}$ 선원신분증${\cdot}$ 국제운전면허증${\cdot}$ 전자주민증 등 공항${\cdot}$항만${\cdot}$육로의 출입국관리에 생체정보의 활용이 전 세계적으로 보급 확산되는 시점에서 생체정보 활용 및 생체인식시스템에 대한 신뢰성을 제공함으로서 국내 생체인식산업의 활성화에 기여할 수 있다고 기대한다.

  • 홍채인식은 홍채의 무늬 패턴 정보를 이용하여 동일인 여부를 판별하는 생체인식 기술이다. 최근 들어 홍채정보를 이용하여 출입통제, 정보보안등의 분야에 많이 활용되고 있다. 이러한 홍채 인식 시스템에 있어 조명의 영향이나 동공의 크기, 홍채의 회전 등 홍채 취득시 다양한 환경 조건으로 인해 발생될 수 있는 홍채 무늬 패턴의 변화에 강인한 특징을 추출하는 것은 홍채인식에 있어 매우 중요한 과제이다. 본 논문에서는 국부적 방향 히스토그램을 이용한 새로운 홍채 특징 추출 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 성능면에서 기존의 방법들과 비교하여 대등한 성능을 보여주는 것을 실험을 통해 확인하였다.

A Novel Door Security System using Hand Gesture Recognition (손동작 인식을 이용한 출입 보안 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a novel security system using hand gesture recognition. Proposed system does not create a password as numbers, but instead, it creates unique yet simple pattern created by user's hand movement. Because of the fact that individuals have different range of hand movement, speed, direction, and size while drawing a pattern with their hands, the system will be able to accurately recognize only the authorized user. To evaluate the performance of our system, various patterns were tested and the test showed a satisfying result.
