Analysis of Economic Load Dispatch for the Atmospheric Emission Control in Power Systems (대기환경오염물질의 배출량 제어를 위한 경제부하배분의 해석)

  • This paper presents a new economic load dispatch considering atmospheric emissions such as NOx and SO$_2$caused by the operation of fossil-fueled thermal generation in power systems. The proposed method is described for scheduling their output of thermal power units so as to comply with total emission constraint, area emission constraint and the both of those constraints. Also, by using a trade-off curve, representing all dispatch alternatives and conflict between the emission and the fuel cost, the sensitivity analysis of the emission and the fuel cost is applied to this algorithm. By the way, this proposed method is analyzed how dispatch changes as a function of the total environmental cost, and as a function of the relative weighting of individual environmental insults, e.g, NOx and SO$_2$. By applying the proposed method to the system, the usefulness of this method is verified.

  • This paper is a study on the earth volume calculation using CAD and LISP(LIST Processing) in the route alignment. The utility enlargement in the industry field and the considerable progress of computer make the automatic design and manufacture for the development of CAD/CAM/CAE technique possible, and the automatic design of civil engineering works is continuously progressive. In this study we are intend to improve an effect of civil engineering work by the automatic earth volume calculation in route alignment. This paper aims to construct the automatic design system of civil engineering work and the procedures; (1) The programming of the self-scanning program of the land information introducing Digital Terrain Model concept in the map (2) Systematic algorithm construction using LISP and grafting CAD system (3) Automatic design and calculation of the mass curve and earth volume.

  • 본 연구에서는 WEP 모형을 통해 판교신도시 개발 전의 물순환을 해석하였다. 정밀한 해석을 위해 대상유역을 30m 크기의 정방형 격자로 구분하고 기상 조건, 지표면 조건, 하천, 토양, 지하대수층, 농업용수 이용 등 물순환에 관련된 광범위한 입력자료를 기존 측정 자료 및 관련 문헌, 현장 조사를 통해 각각 구축하였다. 물순환 해석 결과는 개발 전 모의에 대해 하천유출, 유황곡선 및 물수지, 수문요소 공간분포 분석을 통해 수행하였다. 모의 결과의 전 후처리는 WEP+(Water and Energy transfer Process model Plus)를 통해 수행되었으며, WEP+는 WEP 모형의 방대한 양의 입력자료를 효과적으로 구축하고, 다양한 시계열 및 공간분포 출력자료를 효과적으로 분석할 수 있는 인터페이스를 지닌 전 후처리 프로그램이다(한국건설기술연구원, 2007). 향후 판교신도시 개발후의 물순환 특성 변화를 평가하여 개발전후의 수문요소의 변화를 정량적으로 비교분석 함으로써 효율적인 저감 대책의 수립에 활용할 계획이다. 즉 도시개발로 인해 변화되는 지형, 토지이용, 토양, 지하대수층, 용수이용 등의 각 요소들을 모형에 적용하여 각 매개변수들이 수문순환 요소에 미치는 영향을 분석할 계획이다.

  • [ $GF(2^m)$ ] for elliptic curve cryptosystem. The proposed multiplier uses Gaussian normal basis representation and produces multiplication results at a rate of one per [m/w] clock cycles, where w is the selected we.4 size. We implement the p.oposed design using Xilinx XC2V1000 FPGA device. Our design has significantly less critical path delay compared with previously proposed hard ware implementations.

  • 자동차 오디오는 차량의 상품성에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 고급 차량일수륵 또한 젊은 층일수록 차량 구매시 선택의 기준이 되기도 한다 그러나 자동차 오디오는 크게 두가지 면에서 가정용 오디오와 차이가 있다. 첫번째는 청취공간이 매우 헙소하다는 것이고 둘째로는 주행시 차량소음이 차 실내로 유입되어 오디오 음질에 영향을 미친다. 차 실내는 즘은 공간 음향폭성으로 인한 음향 dip 현상이 발생하며 이는 오디오 음질의 왜곡을 가져오므로 이를 개선하기 위해서는 라우드스피커 최적배치 뿐 아니라 주행소음에 대한 시험 및 분석을 하여 오디오 음질에 영향을 주는 주파수 밴드를 파악하여야 한다 본 논문에서는 오디오 음에 차량소음이 섞인 경우에 대하여 차량의 라우드스피커 위치는 변경하지 않고 라우드스피커의 주파수 밴드별 출력을 디지털필터를 이용하여 수정하는 방법으로 음질 개선을 제안하였다. 디지털 필터의 보정치는 차량 주행소음 특성과 차 실내 음향특성을 고려하였다. 차량소음을 섞은 주파수 옥타브 밴드 분석법을 이용한 객관적인 분석과 감성적 분석법인 NCB곡선으로 차량소음을 분식하여 디지털 필터 보정치를 구하는데 사용하였다. 제안한 9가지 디지털 필터를 이용하여 차량소음과 음악을 합성하였고 이중에서 좋은 음질에 대한 판정을 하기 위해 Scheffe가 제안한 7점 주관 평가법을 사용하여 64명이 내린 주관평가를 수행하였다.

  • Recently, the demand for eco-friendly parts has increased to reduce materials and parts that use fossil fuels. This has exacerbated the increase of energy prices and the enforcement of regulations by environmental agencies. Currently, polylactic acid (PLA) is a solution, as a common and eco-friendly material. PLA is a biodegradable material that can replace traditional petrochemical polymers. PLA has great advantages since it is resistant to cracking and shrinkage. When it is manufactured, there are few harmful byproducts. Improvement in the brittleness characteristics is another important task to be monitored throughout the production of industrial parts. Improvement in the brittleness property of products lowers the tensile strength and tensile elasticity modulus of the parts. This study focused on the mechanical properties of 3D-printed PLA parts. Tensile tests are performed while varying the infill print parameters to evaluate the applicability of PLA in several industrial areas.

  • In this paper, System performance parameters such as throughput, blocking probability and delay have been analyzed and expressed as a function of demanding traffic and service terminating probability, and we centers our discussion at particular downlink port of satellite switch which is capable of switching the individual spot beam and processing the information signals in the packet satellite communications with demand assigned multiple access technique. Delay versa throughput as a function of traffic parameters with several service terminating probability can be derived via mathematical formulation and simulation and the relative change of transmission delay was compared.

Computer generated hologram (CGH) for the test of parabolic mirror was encoded by binary phase hologram Approximation of curved fringe to line was made by staircase encoding. After fringe data 1ransformed mto a Post Scnpt file. magnified master CGH was printed by a laser printer, and then it reduced to the photographIc film. Parabolic mirror was tested by Twyman-Green interferometer with CGH at VIewing arm. Its experimental result was compared with those of surface profile and auto-collimatIon test, and then the errors were analyzed.

  • Design and fabrication of a TCRR (Triple-coupler Ring Resonator) filter which can provide a doubled FSR (Free Spectral Range) compared with a conventional DCRR (Double-coupler Ring Resonator) filter, are discussed. Through the use of a polymer material with a good thermo-optic property and with high contrast between core and cladding polymer, a compact TCRR filter composed of straight and curved buried waveguides of small radius is designed and fabricated. The transmission characteristics from the through and drop ports are measured using a tunable laser and a fiber array block, and the FSR is observed to be 4.4 nm, about twice that of DCRR filter, and almost the same as that obtained from the analysis using a transfer matrix method.

  • This paper proposes a modeling of fuel cell which replaces dc source during simulation. Fuel cells are electrochemical devices that convert chemical energy in fuels into electrical energy. This system has high efficiency and heat, no environmental chemical pollutions and noise. Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) are commonly used as a residential generator. These fuel cells have different electrical characteristics such as a low voltage and high current compared with solar cells. And there are different behaviors in the V-I curve in the temperature and pressure. Therefore, the modeling of fuel cell should consider wide voltage range and slow current response and the resulting electrical model is applied to boost converter with fuel cell as an input source.
