  • In information retrieval, queries come in various types, ranging from abstract queries to those containing specific keywords, making it a challenging task to accurately produce results according to user demands. Additionally, search systems must handle queries encompassing various elements such as typos, multilingualism, and codes. Reranking is performed through training suitable documents for queries using DeBERTa, a deep learning model that has shown high performance in recent research. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method, experiments were conducted using the test collection of the Product Search Track at the TREC 2023 international information retrieval evaluation competition. In the comparison of NDCG performance measurements regarding the experimental results, the proposed method showed a 10.48% improvement over BM25, a basic information retrieval model, in terms of search through query error handling, provisional relevance feedback-based product title-based query expansion, and reranking according to query types, achieving a score of 0.7810.

  • Recently, as the use of the cloud increases year by year and remote work within the enterprise has become one of the new types of work, the security of the cloud-based remote work environment has become important. The introduction of zero trust is required due to the limitations of the existing perimeter security model that assumes that everything in the internal network is safe. Accordingly, NIST and DoD published standards related to zero trust architecture, but the security requirements of that standard describe only logical architecture at the abstract level. Therefore, this paper intends to present more detailed security requirements compared to NIST and DoD standards by performing threat modeling for OpenStack clouds. After that, this research team performed a security analysis of commercial cloud services to verify the requirements. As a result of the security analysis, we identified security requirements that each cloud service was not satisfied with. We proposed potential threats and countermeasures for cloud services with zero trust, which aims to help build a secure zero trust-based remote working environment.

  • Generally, the development of the database application includes the requirement analysis phase of creating ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) and process models, coding, and testing. From the above phases, the analysis phase is not most formalized. It is usually hard task because (1) customers don't know the details of the desired system; (2) developers can't with ease understand the business logic of the customers; (3) the outcomes of the analysis, which are ERD and process models, are not easy to understand to the customers. This paper propose that the executional forms, which are better to understand the systems, should be presented to the customers instead of the ERD. These forms should accept the data input so that customers can review the various aspects of the outcome models. The developers should be able to instantly implement the business logic and also should be able to visually demonstrate the logic in order to get the details of it. For this goal, the customer supplied business logic should be able to be implemented by the references between forms, actions, constraints from the perspective of the data flow. The customers try to execute the forms implementing the business logic and review their supplied logic find new necessary business logic of their own. Iterating these processes for the requirement analysis would result in the success of the analysis which is sufficiently detailed without conflicts.

  • This study was carried out to examine whether children had the naive psychological knowledge that the mental states ate requited to understand the intentional actions, whether their psychological knowledge was organized as a theory, and in what aspects the knowledge changed as children get older. Three- to 11-year-olds were presented with two types of tasks. In action explanation tasks, children were presented with simple descriptions of two characters engaging in specific actions and then asked to explain the characters' action. In action prediction tasks, they were told stories depicting a character's desire and belief and then asked to predict the action of the character. Three-year-olds explained the action in terms of abstract construct such as emotion, intention, and desire, and they predicted the character's action on the basis of her/his desire and explicit belief but not on the basis of inferred false belief and traits. In addition when they were asked to explain one mental state, they explained in terms of other mental states, suggesting the coherence of their knowledge. The present results suggested that even 3-year-olds' psychological knowledge was organized as a theory, in that it was used as a causal device in explaining and predicting human actions, and it had abstractness and coherence. Older children's knowledge was different from 3-year-olds' in that older children explained the action in terms of more complicated mental states such as beliefs and traits. The nature of the developmental change in psychological knowledge was discussed.

  • Textbooks corresponding to curriculum goals are necessary because they are specific products of curriculum and are the most important materials for teaching, learning, and evaluation. In particular, learning objectives written in textbooks should be clearly described because they play a role in promoting learning by showing learning goals to learners clearly. This study analyzed the characteristics of verbs used as predicate of learning objectives written in high school physics I and II textbooks of Korea and compared them with physics textbooks of Singapore and the United States. Results show that Korean textbooks have less kinds of verbs compared to those of Singapore and the United States, and the verbs with abstract and comprehensive meaning such as 'understand' and 'know' were mainly used. In American textbooks, it was noticeable that no verbs have been used by more than 10%. When classifying the learning objectives in the two Korean textbooks, cognitive domain accounted for 98 to 99%, and inquiry domain accounted for only 1% to 2%. With regard to physics textbooks of the United States, inquiry domain accounted for a large proportion of domains in learning objectives compared with physics textbooks of Korea and Singapore. Physics textbooks of Singapore were similar to those of Korea in that learning objectives were biased toward cognitive domain, but differed from those of Korea in that learning objectives were specifically described using action verbs.

  • In physics education, language is an fundamental learning tool as in other subjects. In writing activity, students can get fair opportunities to express their own ideas during the class. Even though there are various styles of writing, students are usually supposed to make a report in their science classes. But there have been few studies in science education on the tasks and features of student's science writing. In this research, different styles of writing tasks were designed for science classes, and students' writing was analysed in terms of conceptual and emotional aspects. Also the usefulness of each task type was discussed relating to school physics education. Four types of writing, i.e. , , , and writing were developed, and 'The reflection of light' was selected as the theme and given to students. Four types of writing were analysed in this paper. In each type of writing, students showed different features in their conception. They also showed emotional expressions in imaginative writing types, that is, and types. Based on these results, it is recommended that in physics teaching various types of writing need to be designed, developed and applied according to the aim of a particular lesson.

  • Recent years have seen an explosion of interest in interactive agents motivating human learners to engage in edutainment systems which are designed to be entertaining and educational at the same time. Especially, work on socio-emotional processes has focus on understanding of human's social behavior in training and entertainment a applications. In contrast with work on social emotion, where research groups have developed detailed models of emotional processes, models of personality have emphasized shallow surface behavior. Here, we build on computational appraisal models of emotion to better characterize dispositional differences in how people come to understand social situations. Known as explanatory style, this dispositional factor plays a key role in social interactions and certain socio-emotional disorders, such as depression. Building on appraisal and attribution theories, we model key conceptual variables underlying the explanatory style, and enable agents to exhibit different explanatory tendencies with respect to their personalities. Furthermore, we developed an interactive AR agent based on our framework and applied it into an interactive teaming system that allows participants to explore individual differences in the explanation of social events, with the goal of encouraging the development of perspective laking and emotion-regulatory skills.

  • Currently, in the field of community service, it is expected that the demand will further increase in the future by enabling the form of providing various types of services. However, the local community service investment project is an abstract Although the structure for fair competition was created by introducing a market mechanism derived from the action or principle of psychology that affects human behavior in the field, systematic management and monitoring of the quality of social services is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between service selection factors and service quality in order to improve the quality of social services in the consumer's way to meet these environmental needs, and to utilize the research results for quality improvement. The research model to be used in this paper measures the five element areas of service satisfaction such as reliability, responsiveness, empathy, certainty, and tangibility, which are used to measure the quality of local community service investment projects. In addition, we are various strategic implications that can induce the quality improvement of local community service investment projects are presented by finding the main factors of the four research hypotheses of this study and utilizing the results.

  • University Identity can effectively convey the core values for which schools aim by establishing university identity and integrating one unique image. Therefore, most universities are actively implementing promotional strategies such as newly defining university identity or releasing cultural products. Recently, university brands have been continuously exposed and differentiated through SNS such as Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook as well as existing advertisements and homepages. This study analyzes the identities of the top 80 universities in Korea and China, by referring to the rankings of Asian universities in the 2021 QS World University Rankings, and addresses differences in terms of design shape, number of colors, and use of English. Moreover, 'Cohen's Kappa' consistency analysis was applied to secure data accuracy by analyzing the difference in visual expression of university identity between the two countries through quantification and cross-analysis of visualized university identity design of Korean and Chinese universities. As a result of the study, it is creative, irregular, and has a lot of use of blue, red, and green, and most of them can be seen in less than two colors. In addition, it turns out that word marks and abstract forms of expression are used for university identity design. This study can present implications as effective basic data for internationalizing universities and creating differentiated university identity designs in the future.

  • The purpose of this study was to pay attention to the increase in the frequency of expression of butterflies and insects, whose decrease in the number of individuals is symbolized as a measure of environmental pollution, among the various motifs of nature as we go through the COVID-19, when we realized the importance of nature. The scope of this study was limited to fashion collection fashion show photos and interview articles of online for fashion collections from 2019 to 2023. As a result of the study, 185 butterfly motivation fashion design appeared, and digital printing techniques were the most used as a type of plane expression method. Along with this, techniques such as quilting, embroidery, and beading have appeared a lot as techniques to express the planar motif of butterflies. As for the three-dimensional expression types, 3D printing, laser cutting, corsage techniques, and draping techniques showed similar proportion. It can be seen that the expressed butterfly motif had more realistic description the shape of the butterfly as it was than abstract expressions. In conclusion, it can be seen that the butterfly motif fashion design over the past five years contains a stronger message about the environment than the butterfly motif fashion in the past. It was confirmed that it is a motif with a great symbolic meaning that can convey an eco-friendly message beyond just the morphological beauty and colorful design elements of the butterfly.
