  • In this paper, it was presented that broadly delivered scanner devices can also used in finger print recognition process and then modified existing steps of fingerprint image processing. First, using the adaptive binary method, that effect was certified already, increased the effect of the results. And then, applying table mapping methods that looks for elements from look-up table, decreased the processing time, too. Finally, it was presented that ridge-direction characteristics extracted from these processes can used effectively in the area of fingerprint recognition system.

  • This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of speed estimation and control for IPMSM using learning mechanism-fuzzy neural network(LM-FNN) and artificial neural network (ANN) control. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed.   • 네트웍의 용량의 개념이 없는 미세한 교통혼잡 도구로서 Microscopic시뮬레이션 모형인 Paramics가 소개된다. 모형의 기본구조가 설명되고, 특히 응용사례로서 서울시 교통관리 시스템을 설치함에 있어서 대안의 평가에 따른 제반 결과의 척도를 이끌어 내는 절차가 소개되었고, 아울러 결과가 분석되어 제시되었다. 이는 미시적 교통 시뮬레이션을 위한 고성능의 소프트웨어로서 각 차량들은 상세한 속성들을 가지고, ITS와 운전자와의 인터페이스를 모델링 할 뿐만 아니라 정확한 교통류, 대중교통 시간, 혼잡정보를 시뮬레이션 할 수 있는 장점이 있는바 적용 분야로서 여기까지가 있으나 혼잡이 있는 도로 네트워크 및 일반도로 네트워크와 ITS 인프라의 존재상황에서 제반 모델링이 가능한바 이를 통한 도시고속도로 관리시스템의 효과를 분석하였다. 신호의 영향, 첨단신호제어, 램프 미터링, 루프 검지기, 다양한 속도 표지, VMS 정보전략 등의 기능을 소개하고 금번 서울시의 사례를 통한 모형의 장단점을 보고한다. 아울러 이 시뮬레이션 모형의 한계도 함께 지적되었다.

Influence of Aging Media and Filler System on Recovery Behaviors of Natural Rubber Composites (노화 매질과 충진 시스템이 천연고무 복합체의 회복 거동에 미치는 영향)

  • Difference in recovery behaviors from the circular deformation of natural rubber (NR) composites aged in air and distilled water, respectively were investigated. Recoveries of the samples aged in air were larger than those of the samples aged in distilled water. Recovery rates of the samples reinforced with filler were faster than those of the unreinforced ones. Recovery rates of the carbon black-filled samples were faster than those of the silica-filled ones. Difference in the recovery behaviors according to the aging media can be explained by the crosslinking density changes and the annealing effect.

  • Servomotors, especially linear brushless servomotors have numerous advantages over ball screws, timing belts, rack/pinion drives and friction drives compared wi th rotary servomotors This paper proposes an linear regression method as the estimated ion of unknown parameters from the linear brushless DC motor The estimated parameters are used to tune the gain of controller. In order to agree with this purpose, Digital Signal Processor (TMS320F240), developed for implementation of the motor control, is adopted in this study. The processor playing an important role in controller has A/D converters, PWM generators, riched I/O ports internally.

  • Now days, it is based on GIS and GPS, it can search for the shortest path and estimation of arrival time by using the internet and cell phone to driver. But, even though good car navigation system does not create which is the shortest path when there average vehicle speed is 10 -20 Km. Therefore In order to reduce vehicle waiting time and average vehicle speed, we suggest optimal green time algorithm using fuzzy adaptive control , where there are different traffic intersection length and lane. In this paper, it will be able to forecast the optimal traffic Information, estimation of destination arrival time, under construction road, and dangerous road using internet.

  • 횡요동을 하는 13.5도의 모서리 경사각을 갖는 사각탱크 내에서 발생하는 유체의 슬로싱에 대해 비정상 현상 규명이 가능한 PIV기법을 적용하여 실험적으로 고찰하였다. 내부 액체의 유통현상을 계측한 결과, 0.6Hz와 l.2Hz의 주기를 갖는 실제 운동 상황을 모사한 운동 중의 속도분포를 계측 할 수 있는 기술을 확보하였으며 바닥중앙에 설치된 배플 주위 유동장을 해석하였다.

  • This paper presents a discrete adaptive observer for MIMO system of an IM model in DQ reference model. The IM model in the stationary frame is discretized and it is transformed into the canonical observer form. The unknown parameter is choosen as rotor speed. The adaptive law for parameter adjustment is obtained as a set of recursive equations which are derived by utilizing an exponentially weighted normalized least-square method. The proposed adaptive observer converges rapidly and is also shown to track time-varying plant parameter quickly. Its effectiveness has been demonstrated by computer simulation.

  • In this paper the comparison of conventional PI control and nonlinear sliding mode control is presented for Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM). SRM drives require a nonlinear controller for high dynamic Performance but the high nonlinearity makes a poor performance in conventional PI control. However SRMs with sliding mode control achieve a robust performance for speed control. In this paper nonlinear sliding mode controller is suggested for high performance speed. State equation and modeling are proposed. And we present the speed comparison of PI control and SLMC.
