This study identified the characteristics of surrealistic art and examined the choreography method based on the representative work of choreographer William Forsythe. Forsyth developed into a ground breaking performing art through surrealistic characteristics and his own method, and sought to find a new body image based on this original choreographic approach. Through this, it was found that the destruction and dismantling of forms, which are surrealistic art characteristics, appeared as separate movements, space reconstruction, and special objects in the choreography method of Forsythe. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the characteristics and forms of surrealism and to identify the surrealistic elements that appear in William Forsythe's.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how to express Surrealism techniques in Chris Landreth who is very famous for 3D short such as Ryan. The case works are focused on 'the end', Chris Landreth's early work. He set up situation of the absurd and describes human being's alienation in animation. A phase of social life is not only revealed with vivid colors and his own surrealism techniques but communication capacity of 3D animation is also shown. Digital Technology, reproducing impossible images is not all about 3D animation. As well as this, it is not far away the way of creating arts. 3D animation will be shown the new possibilities with extension and harmony of all kinds of arts expression.

이 연구의 목적은 카를로 몰리노(1905~1973)의 복합적인 특징을 그의 초현실적 공간구성 방식을 특별히 고려하여 분석하는 것에 있다. 몰리노는 가장 독창적인 현대 이탈리아 건축가들 중 한 명이다. 그는 생애동안 그의 작품들은 비평가들에게는 인정을 받지 못했다. 그의 반 순응적인 성격과 극심한 개인주의도 일조를 하였지만 가장 큰 이유는 그의 작품들이 그의 전문적인 활동과 다양한 개인적인 관심사 사이에서의 강박적인 상호작용에 기반을 두었기 때문이다. 그의 독창성은 그의 능력에 있는 것으로, 항공학, 자동차, 스키, 무대 디자인, 패션, 예로티즘, 문학 그리고 그 외 수많은 다양한 분야에서 얻었던 지식을 디자인하고 건축으로 변형하려는 그의 초현실주의 배경에서부터 나온다. 개인적인 집착으로 그의 작품을 키워가면서 몰리노는 당시 현대 건축의 모든 관습들을 깨고 전문적인 능숙함과 독특한 예술적 시야 사이에 걸려있는 독특한 디자인 표현을 보여주었다. 이 연구는 몰리노의 독특한 공간 구성 방식을 벗겨내기 위해 그의 배경, 즉 그가 열정적으로 탐구했던 연구 분야들과 전문적인 생산물 사이의 연결고리를 분석한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the theoretical background of art make-up and surrealism in depth and shed new light on creative thoughts coming through application of Depaysement and various kinds of expression realized through art make-up, where art and make-up are incorporated. The study method is to conduct prior research followed by a theoretical study of the concept and techniques of Surrealistic Depaysement and theoretical background of art make-up through specialized books and internet sources and then to create 4 artworks representing characteristics of Depaysement technique categorized in dual image, fusion of heterogeneous objects, modification and conversion, and change of space. This examination resulted in first, a foundational ground for fusion and use of art and make-up sectors by creating a realm of expression based on creativity through incorporation of art and makeup and second, a sense of freshness and unfamiliar-ness by creation of an image in a completely unfamiliar space. Therefore, the researcher sets a direction for ways to come up with new ideas and expand the realm of expression and hopes that the art-makeup does not just become an aesthetic tool but turn itself as an art genre.

The purpose of this study is to analyze collage of animated film is able to build up total embodiment of thought. Surrealism Collage intend to combination of various characters including new attempts and pluralistic features. In particular, the fantastic, irrational characteristics of expression and extravagant and unfamiliar artistic technique of Surrealism Collage are actively introduced and explored as elements to make new image and suggest the possibility of another reality. This image has been connected Raoul Servais animation film called . The use of this film technique gives a touch that is sensibly different from the digital encrustation technique which justifies it. Representative animator of Surrealism Raoul Servais expands the domain of his own creative works by succeeding to Surrealistic movement.

The purpose of this study is to examine the concept of surrealism and its expression technique and to develop creative and artistic women's coat design based on the analysis of various expression techniques of surrealistic artists and designers. To this end, literature review was done and design and actual works of women's coats were made. Surrealism was applied to fashion by Schiaparelli in the 1930s and it has constantly been applied by many fashion designers. The examples used in fashion were examined by shape of body parts or natural objects, metaphor and transformation of objects, position change and optical illusion. Based on this examination, motifs were drawn from paintings of Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali, Vladimir Kush, and Rafal Olbinski, who most inspired contemporary fashion designers with their works. The creative and artistic sense of five women's coats for 20's and 30's were designed using surrealistic paintings and fashion design expression techniques in a view of social problems. This study has a significance in that it expanded the expression techniques of fashion design and its field with original design which is inspired by surrealistic formativeness and expression technique with social criticism. It is also possible for this study to contribute to the development of fashion design if various designs are presented through grafting various artistic expression techniques onto fashion.
