The purpose of this study was to identify predictive factors of successful aging and to determine mediating effect of transcendence between successful aging and influencing factors of community-dwelling elders in Korea. 162 elders were participated in this study who visited seniors welfare center and senior citizen center. Data were analyzed by PASW 18.0 for t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and hierarchical regression analysis. Transcendence, parent-child relationship, depression, spirituality and perceived economic status were statistically significant influencing factors, explained 77% of successful aging in community-dwelling elderly. The mediating role of transcendence was identified about parent-child relationship, depression, spirituality and perceived economic condition. The study findings demonstrated that transcendence was significant variable affecting successful aging. The variables affecting successful aging such as transcendence, parent-child relationship, depression, spirituality, perceived economic status can be utilized for nursing strategies to successful aging in community-dwelling elders.

purpose : The purpose of this study was examine the effect of self-transcendence and loneliness on quality of life of the elderly. Method : This was a descriptive survey study. The subjects was 171 elderly persons. Descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression were used in analysis of data. Results : Average score were 2.7 for self-transcendence, 2.0 for loneliness, and 3.0 for quality of life. Statistically significant positive correlations were observed between quality of life and self-transcendence. however, from the statistical point view, significantly negative correlation was observed between quality of life and loneliness. self-transcendence, economic status, general health status, loneliness and spouse were significant predictors of quality of life. Conclusion : This study will provide basic information for use in development of a program to encourage a quality of life for elderly persons.

This study is a descriptive study to dentify gerotranscendence, family support, social support, self-esteem, and degree of fear of death and the relationship between old age. Through this study, it provide basic data that can help target elderly people do better in their later years. From June 2018 to October 2018, residents' self-governing centers, senior citizens' centers, and life-long education centers were visited to explain the purpose of the research, and those who voluntarily agreed to the research were selected. The following results were obtained by surveying 50 adults aged 60 or older in Seoul using structured questionnaire. The difference in the level of gerotranscendence, family support, social support, self-esteem, and fear of death according to the general characteristics of the target was analyzed as t-test and ANOVA. The correlation of gerotranscendence, family support, social support, self-esteem, and fear of death in early years of life was analyzed as Pearson correlation coefficient. Among the common traits, age was related to social support and death anxiety, marital status was related to family support, and life satisfaction was related to family support. There was a correlation between old age and fear of death, a correlation between family support and self-esteem, and social support related to self-esteem and fear of death. In conclusion, this study found that early retirement in the old age was associated with fear of death, and it was found that family support in the old age affected self-esteem and satisfaction in life. Future studies need to be conducted on groups of adults in the later years, including the degree of elderly age, satisfaction with living, and relationship between the elderly and the elderly.

The purpose of this study was to examine the degree of successful aging and to investigate influencing factors of it in elderly to types of gender. Subjects were 73 male elderly and 77 female elderly, total 150 elderly living at K city in C province, from May to June, 2012. The data were analyzed using the SPSS Win 18.0 program for $X^2$ test, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. The correlated factors of successful aging among male elders included life satisfaction(r=.525, p<.001), family support(r=.355, p=.004), depression(r=-.555, p<.001) and loneliness(r=-.437, p<.001). Those of successful aging among female elders included life satisfaction(r=.607, p<.001), leisure satisfaction(r=.679, p<.001), family support(r=.784, p<.001), depression(r=-.516, p<.001), loneliness(r=-.644, p<.001) and self-transcendence(r=.576, p<.001). Life satisfaction and depression were statistically significant influencing factors of successful aging in male elders. Especially in the cases of female elders, life satisfaction, depression, family support and self-transcendence affected to successful aging. Life satisfaction, depression, family support, and self-transcendence were explained 52.9% in perception of successful aging among elders. This study suggests that life satisfaction, depression, family support, and self-transcendence will be considered in enhancing the successful aging promoting care and welfare designed for types of gender.

메타버스는 가상, 초월을 의미하는 '메타(meta)'와 세계, 우주를 의미하는 '유니버스(universe)'의 합성어로 현실 세계를 초월한 디지털 세계라고 정의할 수 있다. 이러한 메타버스는 현실 세계와 평행한 디지털 세계의 구축을 시작으로 블록체인(Blockchain), 인공지능(AI) 등의 기술과 고성능 웨어러블 디바이스(Wearable Device) 기반의 높은 몰입감을 제공하여 현실과 상호 작용하는 디지털 세계로 진화하고 있다. 이에 따라, 현재의 메타버스는 기존의 디지털 세계를 구축하고 활용하는 다양한 서비스가 포함된 개념으로 확장되고 있으며, 최종적으로는 현실과 디지털 세계의 경계가 없는 초현실적인 세계로 발전할 것이다. 이러한 메타버스 발전의 뒤에는 많은 보안 기술들이 필요하며, 실제 개인의 프라이버시 문제 및 보안 위협에 대한 우려가 증가하고 있다. 특히, 높은 몰입감을 제공하기 위해 이전보다 더욱 다양한 생체정보를 포함한 개인정보가 사용될 것이며, 이러한 데이터는 개인을 특정하는 ID(Identity)로 활용될 수 있다. 이에, 개인정보에 대한 보안 위협은 더욱 다양해질 것이고, 동시에 안전한 개인정보 활용이 가능한 ID 관리 기술개발의 필요성도 높아질 것이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 메타버스의 개념과 함께 진화 과정을 제시하고, 메타버스의 진화에 따라 다양해지는 ID 관련 보안 위협 및 대응 기술을 분석을 통해 ID 관리 기술의 현황을 정리한다.

메타버스 서비스란 '가상', '초월' 등을 뜻하는 영어 단어 '메타(Meta)'와 우주를 뜻하는 '유니버스(Universe)'의 합성어다. 현실세계와 같은 사회.경제.문화 활동이 이루어지는 3차원의 가상세계를 의미한다. 코로나 상황 속에서 비대면 소통의 수단 중 하나로 주목받으며 업무, 친목, 각종 행사 등 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 2022년 신년 사업 계획에서 메타버스 단어가 들어가지 않은 곳이 없다고 한다. 그만큼 핵심 키워드로 떠오르고 있다. 즉, 메타버스는 현실을 초월한 가상의 세계로 스마트폰, 컴퓨터 등 디지털 미디어에 담긴 세계를 뜻한다. 세상은 점차 바뀌어 가고 있다. 글로벌 통계 전문 업체 스태티스타는 2021년 307억 달러(약 35조 3265억 원) 규모이던 메타버스 시장 규모가 2025년에는 약 2969억 달러(약 341조 6428억 원)까지 커질 것으로 예측하였다. 현재 시장에서 통용되고 있는 메타버스에 대한 정의는, '현실세계의 사회·경제·문화적 활동이 유사하게 실현되거나, 현실에서 제공하지 못하는 경험을 제공하는 3차원 디지털 가상공간'으로 요약된다. 2021년의 메타버스는 더 이상 상상의 영역이 아니며, 현실세계 영역으로 침투하고 있는 것이다. 현실세계와 연결되는 가상세계, 실재감을 느낄 수 있는 가상공간이 점점 현실이 되어가고 있다. 1990년대 처음으로 등장한 메타버스 개념이 2020년대에 재부상 하였는데, 과거의 메타버스보다 몰입감과 실재감 있는 경험을 제공할 수 있는 XR 기술의 결합에 대한 기대감 때문이다. 지나온 30여 년간 메타버스가 뜨거운 주목을 받게 된 이유는 기술의 발전에 있다. 초고속인터넷 5G 상용화와 더불어 6G 출현, 가상현실, 증강현실이 일상에 스며들었기 때문이다. 이러한 기술 발달은 현실세계의 물리적 객체와 가상의 객체가 상호 작용할 수 있는 혼합현실까지 발전시키는 촉매제가 되었다. 여기에 지난 2년 동안 전 세계를 강타한 코로나19로 인해 비대면, 온라인 서비스가 확산되면서 메타버스는 개념이 아닌, 우리 일상의 한 부분으로 인정받게 되었다. 현재 우리 사회는 과거에는 불가능하다고 생각했던 사회적 거리두기, 재택근무, 온라인 수업 등을 진행하면서 이렇게도 사회가 돌아갈 수 있다는 것을 점차 느껴가고 있다. 더불어 현재 코로나로 인해 멀게만 느껴졌던 메타버스 세계를 반강제적으로 경험하고 있기도 하다. 이처럼 본 고에서는 최근에 나타난 메타버스를 이해하고 방송미디어(계)와 접목된 유형과 기술적, 서비스 사례를 파악하고, 주요 기업들의 추진 방향, 주요 시사점 및 결론으로 도출해보았다.

The objective of this study is to introduce the theory of Gerotranscendence and the ninth stage of Erikson & Erikson(1997)'s psycho-social development theory in order to enable the academic Korean field to have a more positive and fresher point of view on aging. In order to meet this objective, this study will first take a look at Erikson's 9th stage expansion theory on human development. Then we will study Gerotranscendence as the most representing phenomena among the 9 stage theory so that the Korean Gerontology field can utilize it for future plans. The definition of Gerotranscendence was first introduced by Tornstam(1994) and has been applied as Erikson & Erikson's 9 stage theory ever since. Gerotranscendence can be described as an individual that has entered his golden years after middle age, which transforms one's point of view on life from a materialistic and logical one to a more universal and transcending one. Gerotranscendence is a voluntary and overcoming process of oneself that is displayed in many seniors which leads to a lesser focus on oneself in the eyes of the society, but increases the inter-relational bonding between past and future generations. The following is a summary of the theorhetical evaluation on Gerotranscendence which was analyzed in this study. First, this study introduces the Gerotranscendence theory, which is recognized as the most representative phenomena among Erikson's 9th stage theory that has hence expanded the application of Gerontology theories in the academic field of Gerontology. Second, this study has provided a new point of view towards the elderly in the practical field of senior citizen social welfare. With this understanding, practical levels of services from various points of view can be provided to acknowledge the needs of the elderly. Third, a much wider field of research can be exchanged and provided along with other fields of studies by applying and extending this Gerotranscendence theory in Korea. It would also be especially beneficial to exchange researches within related fields of study such as psychology, sociology, nursing science, family science and the study of religion. Not to mention also lending support to hospitals for the elderly(nursing homes) and institutions related to senior welfare, or practical fields where there is an active exchange of research using Gerotranscendence theory.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of character strength and self-efficacy on subjective happiness of adult learners of distance nursing education. The subjects were 261 adult learners of Bachelor Science in nursing course for Registered Nurse of a national open university. The mean score of subjective happiness of subjects was a little lower. 'Transcendence and Humanity' among Character Strength was the highest and 'Justice' was the lowest. Multiple regressions showed that positive integrity, hardiness, and perceived health status explained 38.0% of subjective happiness and positive integrity was the main influencing factor. The learning supporting strategies focusing on reinforcing these factors are needed to improve the subjective happiness of nurses who are continuing their learning through distance education.

환경에 관한 지식의 증가와 더불어 환경오염을 적극적으로 해결하기 위한 새로운 연구들은 국경을 초월하고 있다 특히, 미국을 비롯한 여러 환경고도기술국가들속의 실험실의 주역들은 ＜환경 미생물＞을 이용한 제어연구에 엄청난 자본과 심혈을 바치고 있다. 실제로 미국 EPA에 의해 이미 유해유기화합물로 규정된 수많은 물질들이 이른바 환경미생물을 이용한 생물학적인 처리를 통해서, 이산화탄소와 물 및 메탄가스등의 무해한 무기화합물로 변환시킬 수 있음이 이미 확증된 바 있다. 아무리 많은 환경미생물들이라 할지라도 그 미생물 군들의 적절한 선택과, 대사작용이 최상의 상태로 유지될 수만 있다면, 환경오염물질들의 생물학적 처리는 개선된 최신방법중의 하나가 될 것이다. 또 이와 같은 미생물을 이용한 각종 처리방법 및 기작의 신개발은 21세기 환경오염문제 해결에 <마스터키> 역할을 감당해 나갈 것으로 기대된다.

오늘날의 화제는 첨단과학화 되면서 정보산업 등에 초점이 모아진다. 예를 들면 손톱만한 크기에 신문지 크기 몇만장의 정보를 기억시킬 수 있다든지 머리카락 굵기의 광케이블에 몇백회선분의 회선이 가능하다는 등의 그야말로 상상을 초월할 만큼 첨단화되어가고 있다. 그런가 하면 한편에서는 자연의 생태계가 파괴되어 지구상의 생명체가 1년에 수만종이 멸종되어 가고 있다는 충격적인 정보가 우리를 당혹스럽게 하고 있다. 그런가하면 지구의 온난화 현상으로 오존층이 얼마안가면 구멍이 뚫어져 금방이라도 모든 생명체가 전멸될 것 같은 위기설도 과학자의 입에서 흘러나온다고 한다. 이러한 상황 하에서 한편에서 유전공학적으로 새로운 품종을 연구개발하여 도감(圖鑑)을 만든 것을 보면 코끼리만한 소도 나올 것 같다. 그러나 뭐니뭐니해도 우리의 육안으로 볼 수 없는 미생물과 효소의 위력을 생각할 때 도깨비 같은 존재 같이 생각된다. 이 지구상에 존재하는 생명체 중에서 가장 작은 생명체인 미생물이 어떤 위력을 지녔기에 철을 분해시키고 나무조각도 분해시키고 심지어는 광물질과 암석도 용해시키는 힘을 지녔다. 분해뿐만 아니라 물질의 형성에도 간여해서 생명체가 발아하고 육성되어 이 지구상을 덮고 있는 것이다. 의학적인 분야에서는 일찍이 발달히여 병을 치료하고 예방할 수 있는 항생제를 생산하여 암까지도 치료하고 있지 않는가? 농업분야에 있어서 미생물을 배양해서 응용하는 데에 낙후되어 있다. 때 늦은 감은 있으나 이제부터 미생물과 농업을 함께 묶어 연구하고 개발하는데 우리의 지혜를 모이야 할 것으로 사료된다.
