The purpose of this study is to statistically analyze the correlation between block-coding software education and the resilience of elementary school students in order to research the significance of software education. In this study, 61 fourth grade students at an elementary school in Incheon were pre-tested for resilience. A block-coding education program from a nonprofit organization called code.org was used at the learner's level. 15 periods of classes and post-test were conducted to analyze the improvement of resilience. This study finds that control and positivity out of the three parts of resilience(control, positivity, sociality) of the students who took the block-coding classes improved statistically significantly as well as the overall score did too. This suggests that software education can foster not only students' computational thinking skills, but also their resilience, the power to live their lives positively and flexibly.

Block-based educational programming language(EPL) is commonly used due to its availability at low or no cost. It is also preferred tool of computing education due to its intuitive design, ease-of-use and its effectiveness in increasing algorithmic thinking abilities especially in elementary students. Physical computing is also necessary because it brings students closer to real-world problem solving by connecting the real world with the computing environment. However, due to high-cost and required knowledge in electrical engineering, many schools find the education difficult to access. The study shows significant increase in computational thinking abilities in both groups treated with EPL and additional physical computing education.

In this study, It analyzed the effect of pair programming teaching methods in elementary software education. At first, for the development of SW educational programs it surveyed 162 elementary students and 34 teachers in J area. As a result, developed SW educational programs based on geometry in elementary mathematics and it was applied. For application SW programs it was constructed 22 students experimental group, 22 students comparison group of 44 students in 3, 4, 5th grade the winter break of ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ university education donation application. First, software education using pair programming will be more effective on the development of elementary school students' computational thinking. Second, software education using pair programming will be more effective on the development of elementary school students' creativity. Test results, pair programming is to show a significant difference on the development of computational thinking and creativity in elementary software education.
The purpose of this study was to see the influences of net-speak on actual writing of elementary schoolchild. So I investigated diaries and letters of elementary schoolchild in Jeju. And I researched through questionaire their recognition of net-speak. As the result, it became clear to be widely used net-speak both diaries and letters, especially letters. In computer education, first, Information and communication ethics must be educated. The second, software which filtering net-speak have to be developmented. In language education, first, it must be researched to influence the replacing a ellipsis symbol with a period or omitting the subject, complement, and object in sentence on elementary schoolchild's way of thinking. The second, it needs to be researched the influences of the misuse of sign in sentences on the writing of elementary schoolchild.
The 2015 revised mathematics curriculum specified software education as a mandatory curriculum amid a trend in which the software environment was extended to daily life due to the fourth industrial revolution. It also calls for a paradigm shift in lessons that incorporate learning and evaluation by specifying a process-oriented assessment. This study focused on addition and subtraction classes based on computational thinking skills that integrate mathematics learning and evaluation. Two fourth grade classes of elementary schools in Seoul were selected to conduct a pre- and post- test of metacognition and mathematics achievement through quantitative research. Also, a mixed study was conducted to analyze students' activities and opinions in parallel. The results of the study confirmed that the computational thinking-based classes, which incorporate mathematics learning and evaluation, had a positive effect on the metacognition of elementary school students and the improvement of their achievement scores. In addition to those identified in this study, further studies on other factors are proposed.

The mainstream tool for software education for elementary students is Educational Programming Language. It is essential for upper graders to advance from EPL to text based programming language. However, many students experience difficulty in adopting to this change since Python is run in English. Python is an actively used TPL. This study focuses on developing an education program to facilitate learning Python for Korean speaking students. We have extracted the necessary reserved words needed for data analysis in Python. Then we replaced the extracted words into Korean terms that could be understood in elementary level. The replaced terms were matched on one-to-one correspondence with reserved words used in Python. This devised program would assist students in experiencing data analysis with Python. We expect that this education program will be applied effectively as a basic resource to learn TPL.

STEAM learning, which combined software with hardware, can greatly increase algorithm improvement, problem-solving skills, integrated thinking ability etc. and can ultimately improve learning attitude and academic achievement. In this study, we developed STEAM learning model so that 6th graders who can fully understand the basic concept of programming can learn subject contents of national textbooks (5 kinds) with programming that combined six sensors attached Sensor_board with Scratch and applied it to 6th grade class and analyzed the results. As a result, the STEAM learning tool that combined Scratch with Sensor_board was analyzed to be suitable for most elementary school students to be evaluated. In the achievement evaluation of learning, 39.5% of students obtained more than 7 points out of perfect 10 in the average achievement level of 5 subjects so most students evaluated were analyzed to obtain satisfactory achievement. Therefore, STEAM learning using Scratch and Sensor_board, hardware is considered to be more effective than existing software-centered ${\times}$learning using only software.

This study analyzed the effect of AI maker coding education on improving students' computational thinking. The subjects of the study were 10 students at H Elementary School in Ansan, and a total of 8 AI maker coding education using the Instructional Model for Maker Education based on SW Coding was applied to students to find out the degree of improvement of computational thinking. Students who participated in the class performed a process of solving real-life problems through coding and making activities, measured the degree of improvement in computing thinking before and after education through a computing thinking test paper, and observed students' thinking processes related to computing thinking components through interviews. As a result, it was confirmed that the average score of all students' computational thinking skills was improved, and the deviation of scores between students decreased. Through the interview, it was found that students actively utilize their thinking skills related to computational thinking skills in the problem-solving process. Through this, it was confirmed that AI maker coding education can have a positive effect on improving students' computing thinking skills.

The aim of software education is to increase students' Computational Thinking(CT) skills that they can compose problems and provide solutions which can be carried out effectively by information-processing systems. Furthermore, if problem solving situations can provide students with meaningful problem solving opportunities in authentic social contexts, then software education would be more valuable. This study pursued educational robot-based SW convergence education where 4th grade primary students have access to tangible outputs and can engage in authentic problem solving situations working with peers by using robots and programming. In addition, this study investigated the effectiveness of the classes in terms of computational thinking skills and social capabilities(collaborative skills and communication skills). The current study provides educational robot-based SW convergence education cases of a primary school and discusses the effectiveness of the classes in terms of students' computational thinking skills and social capabilities.
