Rainfall-runoff Analysis Considering the Effect of High-rise Building (초고층 건물의 영향을 고려한 강우-유출 과정 해석)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 실제 규모의 초고층 건물을 고려하여 강우-유출 과정을 해석하고, 초고층 건물이 강우-유출 과정에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 초고층 건물을 고려하기 위해 건물의 지붕과 벽면을 각각 독립적인 소유역이라 가정하여 분석을 수행하였다. 특히, 건물의 벽면 소유역에는 바람의 영향을 받아 비스듬하게 내리는 강우를 입력자료로 적용하였다. 각 소유역에서 발생하는 유출은 shot noise process 기반 강우 유출-모형으로 모의되었다. Shot noise process 기반 강우-유출 모형을 이용하여 초고층 건물의 벽면과 지붕에서 발생하는 유출을 독립적으로 모의할 수 있었다. 실험실 환경에서 건물 모형이 존재할 때의 강우-유출 과정을 관측하였으며, shot noise process 모형으로 모의한 유출수문곡선과 관측 유출수문곡선이 유사한 특성을 보이는 것을 알 수 있었다. 서울시 강남구에 위치한 실제 규모의 초고층 건물을 고려하여 유출수문곡선을 유도해본 결과, 첨두유출량이 기존 유출수문곡선과 최소 6.5%에서 최대 67.5%까지 차이나는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 초고층 건물이 다수 존재하는 도시유역의 강우-유출 해석 결과의 정확성을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Studies on the disease resistance of tobacco varieties to Black shank, Black root rot Wild fire, Brown spot, CMV-Y and Blue mold -Disease resistance of Korean native varieties- (담배중요병해저항성에 관한 연구 특히 한국재래종에 대하여)

  • Resistance to various diseases of Korean native varieties were investigated in field. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1) The varieties Ubangtchio and Osib-eubthio were moderately resistant to black shank, but Suantchio, Usultchio and Gwangtchio were slightly resistant. Dixie Bright 101, $H_2$ and Bright Yellow 4 were more resistant to black shank than any of the Korean native varieties. 2) Mokgitchio, Ubangtchio and Osib-eubtchio were moderately resistant to black root rot, but Useultchio Suantchio and Hoetchio were susceptible than Others. 3) Muktchio, Hoetchio and Ubangtchio were slightly resistant to wild fire. 4) Osib-ebthio was highly resistant to brown spot, but Ubangtchio, Hyangtchio and Mokgitchio were moderately resistant and Useultchio was susceptible to brown spot, but it was resistant than Bright ellow 4 or Bernhart 1000-1. 5) Hyangtchio was slightly resistant to CMV-Y. According to these results, except Virus disease, Ubangtchio was resistant to all of the above mentioned diseases. Osib-eubtchio, Hoetchio, Hyangtchio and Suantchio showed proferable disease resistant and these might be well utilized as breeding materials.

  • An ultra high- pressure system generally consists of a hydraulic power unit, an oil supply unit, an electrical power supply device, and an electrical control device. The hydraulic power unit supplies the hydraulic power to the intensifier to create generate ultra high pressure. The intensifier amplifies increases the pressure using the oil supplied from by the hydraulic power unit. The electrical supply devices and control devices maintain are provided for the electric motors, valves, and sensors. In this study, instead of a flow-control device, a pressure-control type device was mounted on a manifold block in the hydraulic power unit instead of the flow-control type. A servo valve was fitted in the intensifier, and the performance characteristics of the intensifier varied according to the variations of in the pressure cycle and with the temperature of the operating oil in the hydraulic power unit.

Differences of Science Writing Tendencies according to the Level of Meta-cognition Between General and Gifted Students (영재 선발을 위한 초인지 사고 수준에 따른 학생들의 과학글쓰기 경향성 분석)

  • This research was planned to analyze the students' science writing tendencies according to the level of meta-cognition for using as materials of selection of gifted students. To get results, meta-cognition writing tests which measured critical thinking ability and problem solving ability were developed, and the students' the level of meta-cognition was measured. Thereafter We analyzed the students' science writing tendencies in accordance with the level of meta-cognition through the science writing with meta-cognition task(the main theme are expectation; explanation; claim; criticism; imagination), and found out the students' ability of science writing was different with the level of meta-cognition. Students with the low level meta-cognition did not represent their thinking well, but students with the high level meta-cognition were try to upgrade their writing through highly concentration and perceiving theirs writing mistakes. As this results, science writing is useful as materials of selection of gifted students.

  • Ultra-high strength concrete becomes one of the main research areas because recently concrete structure is larger. The quality of aggregate (ultra-high strength and uniformity) as well as chemical admixture and mineral additives is a key factor for ultra-high strength concrete development. However, natural aggregate including crushed aggregate is inappropriate for ultra-high strength concrete because ultra-high strength quality cannot be maintained uniformly over whole natural aggregate lot. In this study ceramic aggregate was applied for ultra-high strength concrete in order to assure uniform quality of ultra-high strength aggregate. Ultra-high strength concrete was achieved by applying coated ultra-high strength ceramic aggregate to enhance the bonding strength between aggregate and cement paste. Also for actual application light weight ceramic aggregate(density 2.2 $g/cm^3$) with zero water absorption was tested.

  • 기후변화와 도시화로 인한 집중 호우와 불투수층 증가로 도시 홍수의 발생 빈도와 규모가 증가하고 있다. 인적, 물적 자원이 집중되어 있는 도시유역의 특성상 침수가 발생하면 이로 인한 직접적 피해 뿐만 아니라 사회경제적 2차 피해를 발생한다. 도시 홍수로 인한 피해를 줄이고 도시의 재해에 대한 회복력을 키우기 위해서는 관측과 더불어 정확한 모의 기술이 중요하다. 한편, 격자 기반 도시 홍수 모의는 집중 호우에 따른 침수의 시공간적 발생 양상을 물리적으로 해석하는 방법으로, 지표수-우수관거 이중배제 통합 모의, 수치기법, 병렬컴퓨팅, 수질 연계 모의 등의 측면에서 지금까지 많은 발전이 이루어져 왔다. 최근들어 원격탐사 기술의 발달로 공간해상도 1미터 수준 혹은 그 이상의 초고해상도 지형자료가 많은 지역에서 대해 가용해지고 있으며, 도시 홍수 해석에 이와 같은 초고해상도 자료를 적용하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초고해상도 지형 및 토지 피복 자료의 공간해상도가 침수해석에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 도시침수의 두가지 주요 요인인 내수침수와 외수범람 중에서 극한 강우에 의한 내수침수해석 사례만을 주요 연구 범위로 한다. 초고해상도 입력자료의 격자기반 도수 해석 모형으로는 운동파 기반의 2차원 지표 흐름 해석 모형을 적용하고, 초고해상도 모의의 효율적 계산을 위해 하이브리드 병렬 컴퓨팅 기술을 이용한다. 초고해상도 입력자료 적용 사례 대비, 공간해상도 저하에 따라 침수 면적이나 깊이 등에서 어떤 변화가 있는지 정량적으로 검토한다. 또한, 강우의 강도 및 공간분포가 초고해상도 도시 홍수 해석에 미치는 영향에 대해서 분석한다. 모의 결과로부터 도시 홍수 해석시 거리 단위(street-level) 정확도의 재현을 위해 적정한 공간해상도를 분석하고, 초고해상도 도시 홍수 모의를 이용한 기후변화에 따른 극한 홍수의 도시지역 영향 분석 및 회복력 개선 관련 연구의 가능성에 대해 논의한다.

Modified Ultrafiltration in Pediatric Open Heart Surgery (소아개심술에서의 변형초여과법)

  • Background: This study has proven the effect of modified ultrafiltration(MUF) performed after the cessation of cardiopulmonary bypass in pediatric patients who underwent open heart surgery. Material and Method: From Jan. to Dec. 1997, modified ultrafiltration was performed after cardiopulmonary bypass in 50 infants with cyanotic heart disease and the results were compared to the control group of 50 patients with cyanotic heart disease in whom modified ultrafiltration was not used. Changes of hematocrit, central venous pressure, systolic and diastolic pressure, heart rate and body weight were compared. Result: Age and body weight were not different(p=0.38, p=0.46). Disease categories were similar. Average filtering volume was 60.0$\pm$29.2cc/kg for 7.0$\pm$2.4minutes of filtration. Mean hematocrit after filtration(MUF=36.1%, control=26.4%, p=0.001) was higher in the MUF group. Systolic (p=0.0001) and diastolic blood pressure(p=0.0001) were observed to increase more and the central venous pressure(p=0.02) and the heart rate(p=0.02) were lower after filtration in the MUF group. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that modified ultrafiltration after cardiopulmonary bypass was a technically feasible option to improve the post-surgical course through the effective hemoconcentration, hemodynamic improvements, and body water control.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of salivary contamination of etched enamel on shear bond strength of a bracket adhered to etched enamel. Eighty extracted human permanent premolars were used in this study. These samples were divided into two groups. Buccal surface of samples were etched in vitro with 38% phosphoric acid for 15 seconds and 60 seconds. Each group was divided into four subgroups. Etched enamel surfaces were contaminated with saliva for 0, 1, 20, 60 seconds, washed and dried. Test surfaces were examined using scanning electron microscope(SEM). The shear bond strength of each sample was determined with a universal testing instrument(Instron Co. Model 4201). Results were as follows; 1. Salivary contamination for 1, 20, 60 seconds did not affect shear bond strength when compared with the uncontaminated enamel group. 2 There was no significant difference(P>.05) in shear bond strength between 15 sec. and 60 sec. etching in uncontaminated enamel groups. 3. When samples were examined using SEM, organic materials coated enamel surface masked the etched pattern partially.

Toxicity Reduction and Improvement of Anticancer Activities from Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor by Ultra High Pressure Extracts Process (초고압 공정에 의한 홍경천의 독성 감소 및 항암활성 증진)

  • This study was performed to investigate the reduction of toxicity and improvement of anticancer activities from R. sachalinensis by ultra high pressure extracts process. The cytotoxicity on human kidney cell (HEK293) and human lung cell (HEL299) was showed below 20.4% and 21.6% as compare to normal extracts in adding 1.0 $mg/m{\ell}$ concentration. This showed that toxic materials through ultra high pressure processing is broken or degraded. Because bond such as hydrogen bond, electrostatic bond, Van der waals bond, the hydrophobic bond, can be broken by high pressure. The anticancer activity was also increased in over 7% by high pressure processing in A549, AGS, MCF-7 and Hep3B cells. The result showed that extraction by high pressure have low cytotoxicity and high anticancer activity. So, the high pressure extraction technology can play an important role in eruption of new material with high biological activity.

  • 본 논문에서는 계측을 통한 초고층 무량판 구조물의 횡강성 산정식의 유효성을 검정하였다. 초고층 건축물의 풍진동은 건축물의 사용성 평가에 중요한 구조설계요인 중 하나이다. 신뢰성 있는 풍하중 및 풍진동을 얻기위해서는 정확한 고유주기의 예측이 중요하며 고유주기 예측에 오차가 있을 경우 하중을 지나치게 과대평가하게 되는 문제를 유발하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 최근들어 국내에서 본격적으로 증가하고 있는 초고층 무량판 구조시스템의 건축물에 대한 해석 모델링과 실측을 통하여 추정된 무량판 초고층 건물의 동적특성을 바탕으로 구조해석과 동적거동의 계측을 통하여 내풍설계를 위한 횡강성 및 주기를 산정하는 연구를 수행하였다.
