Security system in internet as well as the performance in information network became more important as the internet environment is getting popular and complicate. In this study, the security system (Firewall and IDS) was installed in high speed information network and analyzed for a change in the speed of data transfer and the possibility of invasion. The selection of appropriate system, efficient detection and protection and surveillance method were suggested and analyzed In order to do experiments, an experimental model was com prized to analyze the parameters that was affected by the detection and protection system in network. This will give a standard how much we can pull up the security system maintaining the network speed.

Traditional queueing analyses are very useful for designing a network's capacity and predicting there performances, however most of the predicted results from the queueing analyses are quite different from the realistic measured performance. And recent empirical studies on LAN, WAN and VBR traffic characteristics have indicated that the models used in the traditional Poisson assumption can't properly predict the real traffic properties due to under estimation of the long range dependence of network traffic and self-similarity In this parer self-similar characteristics over statistical approaches and real time network traffic measurements are estimated It is also shown that the self- similar traffic reflects network traffic characteristics by comparing source model.

This paper discusses cost allocation model of common facilities in voice and data traffic of mobile telephone network. There are several methods to be considered including traffic, facility, revenue, Ramsey, and benchmarking in local loop unbundling for High Speed Internet. It is important to investigate the strength and weakness of each method. This paper reviews the theoretical literatures and compares the characteristics of each methodology. Also, case studies are employed to get the implications concerned. As a result, in the beginning, it is desirable to introduce 50:50 allocation method used in local loop unbundling in UK. Then, it is recommendable to apply the ratio allocation method as the quantities of voice and data traffic become equal.

In this paper, proposed peak detector for the measurement of pulse radiation dose. The speed of the pulse radiation signal is the between a few ns and tens ns. Therefore, it is difficult to measure peak voltage. Peak Detector maintains the peak voltage generated from the sensor for a few ms and the converted signals can be easily measured using the ADC. The peak detector simulation results peak value remained of more than 1ms. Pulse radiation irradiation test results, a dose of $1.95{\times}10^6rad/s$ was measured.

In this paper, we've studied Optical Fiber Subscribe Transmit system. After receiving the ATM cell passing through the FIFO of the Asynchronous Transfer Method from the ATM Layer images to the VC4 signal payload passing through scrambling of the cell payload, HEC computation of the cell and inserting the Idle/Unassigned cell. At this time formed VC4 signal passing through the generating and inserting POH overhead at the same time indicating the start point of the cell by the H4 byte on the VC4 POH. This ATM cell transmits 155Mbps speed changing the optical signal after outputting the frame format at the STM-1 signal generation block through the AUG bus after generating J1 of the VC4 start point at the AU4 pointer generation block.

In this paper, we discuss the scale of subjective speech quality measurement over VoIP(Voice over IP) network which is a component of broadband networks. Objective parameters of multimedia services like PSNR or jitter can easily measured and defined, but these factors are not easily meet the user's perceptual recognition. We suggest the speech quality measurement scale through the subjective measurement for end-to-end speech quality composed of sender-side quality, transmission quality, receiver-side quality, which provide the degree of correctness of representation of speaker, the degree of impairment caused by various factors, the degree of recognition of processed speech, respectively. Also, we examined the proposed method and verify it's availability.

To understand and forecast the wireless internet market in Korea, we will analyse the network externalities in wireless internet market into communication network externalities and hardware/software network externalities. The wireless market has two competing streams, one is mobile internet and the other is wireless fan internet. Both are characterized by strong network externalities which lead to increasing return to stale. Mobile internet is supposed more suitable for communication and WLAN for data. However these two system will compete in some area, and the critical factor to deride the winner is supposed to be the network externalities as in so many other high-tech industries had showed.

With the rapid increase of high-speed network and internet use, those who fall into Internet addictions increase. They have serious personal, familial, academic/occupational and financial problems. So it is very important to estimate the ratio of Internet addiction accurately, to establish the strategies for internet addiction effectively, and to prevent internet user from internet addiction. In this paper, we introduce the KIAS:Korean Internet Addictions Scale and a survey on the Interned Addictions in Korea. Nearly 4.8% of those totally surveyed met the strict criteria for KIAS and subgroups showed different addiction-ratios(adults 1.6%; elementary school 4.1%; middle and high school 6.6%; college 6.6%; adults 1.6%).

This paper describes a wearable electro-stethoscope module for home-healthcare system. The module is consisted of a microphone, an instrumentation amplifier, a filter, a power amplifier etc. and is light and small. The phonogram signal from the module shows good performance. The test for the material and size of the sound collector of the chest piece is performed and the results is reflected on the prototype product. If the module is connected to wired or wireless communication network, so people can check their health without going hospital.
