Revisit to Estimate the Time Cost of Ships and Cargoes (우리나라 항만에서의 체선ㆍ체화 시간비용 재추정)

  • The time cost of ship end cargoes is one of the most important data for decision-making of port investment and operational efficiency. Studies in this area were initiated internationally by Goss and Mann in late 70's and also done in Korea 10 years ago using the same methodology as Goss. The main purpose of this paper is to revisit to estimate the time cost using updated data. The estimation was undertaken sampling data on various investment and operating costs by vessel from 205 vessels, comprising 47.5% of the notional fleet in Korea as well as on cargoes from international trade statistics. Compared with the study of 10 years ago, major finding of this research is that time costs of liquid and dry bulk carriers have increased, in case of the former type, showing almost doubled cost increase. The increase is deemed to be caused by very expensive LNG carriers. Lowered social discount rate in this study compared with 10 years ago, in general, has mused the costs to stay at similar level to the previous study. Sensitivity tests were conducted using various social discount rates.

A Study on the Queueing Simulation of Lock Gates according to the Functional Rearrangement in Incheon Port (인천항 기능 재배치에 따른 갑문의 대기 시뮬레이션 연구)

  • Due to the construction of Incheon Grand Bridge, there is driven a necessity for rearranging the function of Inner Port with the development of Outer South Port. In this paper, I'd like to simulate the port operation levels of Lock Gate in Inner Port with estimating the traffic volumes of 2011 and 2015, which will reveal the Demurrage Cost and the Accumulation Cost of Freight in Inner Port. Finally I will evaluate the economic movement effects of the container ship's calling from Inner port to South Port/Outer South Port from 2011 to 2015. The results are as followings ; (1) The average utilization of Lock Gates are reduced by $7\sim8$ percentage point. (2) The mean queueing value are saved by 25 percentage point. (3) The Demurrage Cost and the Accumulation Cost of Freight except Lock Gate charges and the Benefit of Routeing Reduction are saved about 800 million Won annually.

연구개발투자의 산업간 파급효과

  • 본 연구는 기술에 대한 대용개념으로 사용되고 있는 연구개발투자의 효과가 산업의 생산성 향상에 얼마만큼 기여하고 있는가에 관한 실증연구로, 그 효 과를 자체 연구개발효과와 파급효과로 나누어 측정하는 데 목적이 있다. 파 급효과의 경우, 중간재의 거래를 통한 체화된 파급효과와 산업간의 기술거리 로 인한 비체화된 파급효과로 나누어 한국 제조산업을 18개로 분류한 후 각 산업의 연구개발스톡을 측정하였으며, 연구개발투자의 체화된 파급효과 측정 을 위하여 산업 연관표를 이용하여 가중치를 계산하였다. 그리고, 비체화된 파급효과 측정을 위하여는 각 산업에서 고용하고 있는 전공별 연구원 수의 자료를 이용 기술거리를 구하였다. 본 연구에서는 각각의 가중치로 구한 연 구개발스톡, 체화된 연구개발 스톡, 그리고 비체화된 연구개발 스톡을 이용 하여 각 독립변수들에 대한 한계생산성을 구하였으며, 분석 방법으로는 단순 회귀분석과 함께 시계열의 효과와 산업간 효과를 고려하는 패널데이터 분석 을 시도하였다. 체화된 파급효과와 비체화된 파급효과 중 하나만을 변수로 포함하는 경우에는 추정치가 유의한 결과를 나타내고 있지만, 두 가지의 변 수를 모두 포함하는 경우에는 보호도 일정하지 않으며 비유의적인 결과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 다중공선성에 의한 것으로 보인다. 두 가지 파급효과 에 대한 한계생산성 추정치는 기술과 연구개발투자가 외부성을 가지고 있으 며, 기술과 관련된 변수의 도입이 필요함을 시사한다. 또한 이러한 파급효과 의 추정치는 거시차원에서 연구개발 지원의 정당성에 대한 근거를 제시하고 있으며, 기술혁신을 위한 투자의 타당성을 실증적으로 보여주고 있다.사하였다. 이 사례 연구들의 결과는 각 계열사들의 상황에 따라 제시된 외주위탁 전략과 현재의 외주위 탁 전략이 일치할 때 정보 시스템에 대한 사용자 만족도가 보다 높은 것으 로 나타났다. 할 수 있는 효율적인 distributed system를 개발하는 것을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 데이타베이스론의 입장에서 아직 정립되어 있지 않은 분산 환경하에서의 관계형 데이타베이스의 데이타관리의 분류체계를 나름대로 정립하였다는데 그 의의가 있다. 또한 이것의 응용은 현재 분산데이타베이스 구축에 있어 나타나는 기술적인 문제점들을 어느정도 보완할 수 있다는 점에서 그 중요성이 있다.ence of a small(IxEpc),hot(Tex> SOK) core which contains two tempegatlue peaks at -15" east and north of MDS.   • A construction project of Incheon 2nd bridge, which is connected between the Incheon Song-Do New Town and the Incheon International Airport in Young-Jong-Do, have been proposed by the private capital in 1999. But the optimal span width in the bridge main span have not been decided in spite of the three investigations into the feasibility of ship's safe transit in this planned bridge. In this paper, we study the economic analysis on port operational efficiency according to traffic schemes, me-way or two-way of vessels over 10,000G/T, in the bridge main span of this bridge. In this comparative result, total queueing time due to the one-way in the bridge main span is evaluated 20,362 hours in 2011 and 24,544 hours in 2020. Therefore the demurrage cost and the accumulation cost of freight are evaluated 19.7 billion won in 2011, and 23.3 billion won in 2020, then total accumulated costs during 33 years from 2008 until 2040 are evaluated about 768..9 billion won.

  • The expense Our country's land logistics system is becoming backlog day by day. The greenhouse gas which it discharges specially from the vehicle causes a ecocide and traffic expense to make. The traffic energy curtailment which the government enforces during that time and environment-friendly green goods policy lost the effect. Therefore, This research propose the car-ferri network which is the most effective logistics system substitutes the land logistics system. This research will contribute improving the north and south logistics network of Pusan and Seoul region and will be able to reduce a various goods expense.

The Effects of Profit-Sharing Schemes on Productivity through Firm's Contribution to the Employee Welfare Fund (사내근로복지기금제도를 통한 이윤공유참여의 생산성효과)

  • This paper scrutinizes the robustness of the profit-sharing findings first employing an original panel data on the Employee Welfare Fund over the period from 1992 to 2000. In examining the effects of profit-sharing schemes on labor productivity, it controls for simultaneity among profit-sharing, production factors, and productivity using both the two-stage least squares procedure and the lagged variable method. The empirical results show that an increase in firm's contribution to the Employee Welfare Fund is associated with capital-embodied and disembodied productivity enhancement, which is both statistically and economically highly significant. The empirical results are in contrast with predictions of both agency and transaction cost theories, and they imply that more tax benefits and financial incentives for expansion of the Employee Welfare Fund should be required to get productivity gains.

  • The purpose of the study was to provide an educational environment for designing and producing virtual reality practice contents that can be used in semiconductor production lines and clean rooms. Through this process, the user can acquire practical knowledge through experiences close to reality, such as experiencing the main semiconductor solar cell manufacturing facilities as well as procedural knowledge before and after entering the clean room.. In particular, it provides users with an immersion experience close to reality by creating an environment for experiential content necessary for semiconductor and solar cell manufacturing processes and clean room entrance procedure experiential content, which is expected to improve education immersion, realism, cost, efficiency, and education satisfaction. Depending on the characteristics of Dangerous, Impossible, Counter-productive etc, immersive content makes learners immersed in the learning content, induces proactive/active learning, and embodies the learning content, resulting in positive results in the field of improving educational effectiveness.

  • The development of the traffic system has brought relative reduction in aspect of the cost and time distance on the geographical space. SOC(social overhead capital), an express highway and railroad, has a great and absolute effect on the prosperity of community, As Mokpo is one of the community under the influence q West costal highway express and KTX(Korea Train Express), the number of the tourists visiting city of port like Mokpo has increasing gradually, especially at the high-demand season(in Summer). But the coastal passenger boot can't be capable of customers arriving at the port. As a result of this situation, the 'balking' occurs. No 'balking', means the jam of road. In this thesis, by understanding the concept and property of ARENA and simulating operation of coastal passenger boot at Mokpo port, intends to analyze the truth of 'balking' and finds an effective operation method of coastal passenger boot for the solution to the traffic jam. The solution to the jam in the vicinity of port of Mokpo, which try to develop tourism package commodity now, will present the effect of qualitative analysis in giving an opportunity of economic growth of the community, Mokpo.
