관제사 의사결정지원을 위한 인공지능 도입 및 활용방안

  • 빅데이터·인공지능 등 4차 산업혁명 기술은 교통·의료·환경 등 다양한 분야에서 기술개발을 추진하고 이미 많은 기술이 실제 활용되고 있다. 특히, 철도관제와 항공 관제분야에서도 인공지능 기반 시스템이 접목되어 운영되고 있으나 선박교통관제 분야는 현장에 접목되어 활용되는 기술은 극히 드물다. 선박교통관제사가 관제구역 내에서 적게는 수척, 많게는 수십척의 선박을 동시에 관제하며 발생할 수 있는 인적 과실을 줄이기 위한 인프라 구축은 선박의 안전확보를 위해 필수요소이다. 본 연구는 해양경찰청 선박교통관제기술개발단에서 자체 개발한 음주운항 자동탐지 시스템과 닻 끌림 자동탐지 시스템에 활용한 기술을 소개하고 향후 고도화 및 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Jeon-buk is well equipped for the growth of the logistics industry as it is the center of inland and marine traffic. However, it was not activated because of the infrastructure insufficiency. This paper surveyed the logistics industry facilities, interviewed people who are engaged in its business, researched into their business difficulties and the problem of the logistics industry of Jeon-buk. As a result of research, this paper makes an alternative plan for the development of the logistics industry of Jeon-buk area.

Analytical Study of Railroad Bridge for Maglev Propulsion Train with Dynamical Influence Variable (동적영향변수를 통한 자기부상열차용 철도교의 해석적 연구)

  • Because maglev trains have a propulsion and absorption force without contact with the rails, they can drive safely at high-speed with little oscillation. Recently, test model of a maglev propulsion train was produced and operated, and has since been chosen as a national growth industry in South Korea; there have been many studies and considerable investment in these fields. This study examined the dynamic responses due to bridge-maglev train interaction and basic material to design bridges for maglev trains travelling at high-speed. Depending on the major factors affecting the dynamic effects, the scope of this study was restricted to the relationship between dynamic responses. A concrete box girder was chosen as a bridge model and injured train and rail types in domestic production were selected as the moving train load and guideway analysis model, respectively. From the analysis results, the natural frequency of a bridge for a maglev train, which has a deflection limit L/2000, was higher than those of bridges for general trains. The dynamic responses of the girder of the bridge for a maglev train showed a substantial increase in proportion to the velocities of the moving train like other general bridge cases. Maximum dynamic response of the girder is shown at a moving velocity of 240km/h and increased with increasing moving velocity of train. These results can be used to design a bridge for maglev propulsion trains and provide the basic data to confirm the validity and verification of the design code.

A Study on the Pile Material Suited for Pile Supported Embankment Reinforced by Geosynthetics (토목섬유로 보강된 성토지지말뚝 구조에 적합한 말뚝재료의 개발)

  • It is a current trend that the concrete track is applied for high speed railway. In the case of the railway embankment constructed on soft ground, the damage to concrete track which is sensitive to settlement such as distortion and deflection could be caused by very small amount of long term settlement. Pile Supported Embankment method can be considered as the effective method to control the residual settlement of the railway embankment on soft ground. The Geosynthetics is used inside of the embankment to maximize the arching effect transmitting the load of the embankment to the top of the piles. But, PHC piles that are generally used for bridge structures are also applied as the pile supporting the load of embankment concentrated by the effect of the Geosynthetics. That is very low efficiency in respect of pile material. So, in this study, the cast in place concrete pile was selected as the most suitable pile type for supporting the embankment by a case study and the optimum mixing condition of concrete using a by-product of industry was induced by performing the mixing designs and the compressive strength designs. And it is shown that the cast in place pile with the optimum mixing condition using the by-product of industry is 2.8 times more efficient than the PHC pile for the purpose of Pile Supported Embankment by the finite element analysis method.

A Study on Multi-modal Transport Logistics Network Buildup of Harbors in Gangwon in the North Pole Route Era (북극해 항로시대와 강원권 항만의 복합운송 물류네트워크 구축전략에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates the initiatives of Gangwon sea routes based on precedent studies on the North Pole route to suggest a multi-modal buildup of transport logistics network of Gangwon harbors for the strengthening of logistics efficiency in the Korean Peninsula. The findings were: First, the government should expand railway infrastructure in Gangwon. Second, harbors in Gangwon should each have one speciality to strengthen connection with other harbors by using railway oriented background transportation network. Third, the government should develop industries of EFEZ(East coast Free Economic Zone) in the East Sea Coast in Gangwon to connect resources from the North Pole Sea. Fourth, the government should invite the base of Araon Ho's polar research vessel to play the role of the North Pole Sea route in the near future. Fifth, the government should strengthen the role of the Samcheock LNG base under construction. SIxth, environment-friendly transportation technology should be introduced to reduce carbon emission as much as possible. Lastly, an optimum North Pole logistics route should be developed to connect the Metropolitan area(Metropolitan Economic Zone), Gangwon roads and railway, Gangwon habor, Trans-Siberian Railway and thw North Pole route, and Europe, to strengthen national foreign trade power in the near future.

Antibacterial and Antiviral Activities of Multi-coating Polyester Textiles (다중 코팅 폴리에스터 섬유 여재의 항균 및 항바이러스 특성)

  • The effect of coated polyester (PET) textiles with metal oxide, chitosan, and copper ion on the antibacterial and antiviral activities was evaluated to investigate the applicability of multi-coated PET textiles as antiviral materials. Compared to coated PETs with a single agent, multi-coated PETs reduced the loading amount of coating materials as well as the contact time with bacteria for a bacterial cell number of < 10 CFU/mL, which was not detectable with the naked eyes. Metal oxides generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) such as free radicals by a catalytic reaction, and copper ions can promote contact killing by the generation of ROS. Chitosan not only enhanced antibacterial activities due to amine groups, but enabled it to be a template to load copper ions. We observed that multi-coated PET textiles have both antibacterial activities for E. coli and S. aureus and antiviral efficiency of more than 99.9% for influenza A (H1N1) and SARS-CoV-2. The multi-coated PET textiles could also be prepared via a roll-to-roll coating process, which showed high antiviral efficacy, demonstrating its potential use in air filtration and antiviral products such as masks and personal protective equipment.

Development of BIM and Augmented Reality-Based Reinforcement Inspection System for Improving Quality Management Efficiency in Railway Infrastructure (철도 인프라 품질관리 효율성 향상을 위한 BIM 기반 AR 철근 점검 시스템 구축)

  • BIM and AR technologies have been assessed as a means of enhancing productivity within the construction industry, through the provision of effortless access to critical data on site, achieved via the projection of 3D models and associated information onto actual structures. However, most of the previous researches for applying AR technology in construction quality management has been performed for construction projects in general, resulting in only overall on-site management solutions. Also, a few previous researches for the application of AR in the quality management of specific elements like reinforcements focused only on simple projection, so conducting specific quality inspection was impossible. Hence, this study aimed to develop a practically applicable BIM-based AR quality management system targeted for reinforcements. For the development of this system, the reinforcement inspection items on the quality checklist used at railway construction sites were analyzed, and four types of AR functions that can effectively address these items were developed and installed. The validation result of the system for the actual railway bridge showed a degradation of projection stability. This problem was solved through model simplification and enhancement of the AR device's hardware performance, and then the normal operation of the system was validated. Subsequently, the final developed reinforcement quality inspection system was evaluated for practical applicability by on-site quality experts, and the efficiency of inspection would significantly increase when using the AR system compared to the current inspection method for reinforcements.

Correlation Analysis on the Duration and CO2 Emission Following the Earth-work Equipment Combination (토공장비조합에 따른 공사기간 및 이산화탄소 배출량의 상관성 분석)

  • After Kyoto Protocol was adopted for green gas reduction, each nations are stepping up efforts to reduce $CO_2$ of a typical green gas. Construction industry also is trying $CO_2$ reduction with the techniques of two types which are software and hardware techniques. The software technique are Passive Design considered green gas emission and the environment impact assessment by LCA. The hardware techniques are adjustment of equipment system and development of eco- friendly material. But, it is nonexistent that a study related to $CO_2$ emission considered detail process in construction industry. This study analyzed the correlation of equipment combination, $CO_2$ emission and duration by calculate $CO_2$ emission follow to equipment combination on earth-work which is the process emitted most $CO_2$ among railway bedding construction.

  • As the importance of software in various industry areas has been increased, the number of accidents related to software safety are growing up. The key industries such as railroads, aviation and medicine, recommend IEC 61508 and international safety standards for their own to achieve functional safety and reduce the issues caused by that. For equipment of ship navigation, there are not any particular standards or guidance which Korean users can introduce as considering software functional safety. This article defines the procedure and outcomes of the risk analysis in order to secure software functional safety in marine navigational equipment and applies them to an echo sounder as a case study.

  • OECD 발표에 의하면 물산업 관련 인프라 투자 전망은 전세계 GDP 대비 2010~2020년 약 1.01%에서 2020~2030년 약 1.03%로 확대될 전망으로 다른 통신, 전력, 철도 인프라 투자수요보다 많을 것으로 전망하고 있다(파이넨셜 뉴스, 2013.3.21.). 우리나라는 2005년 베트남 홍강종합개발사업을 시작으로 2015년 기준으로 세계 35개국에 진출하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 물 산업 진출 대상 국가는 미계측 유역이 많고 지상에서 계측된 수문 자료가 부족한 실정이다. Namgung and Lee(2014)에 의하면 네팔의 수력발전소 건설에 관측된 강우량 자료가 없어 발전소 하류 10km 지점의 유하량 자료를 이용하여 자료의 정확도 검증을 대신하여 적용한 바 있다. 이와 같이 계측자료가 없거나 부족한 지역에 대하여 기상 위성을 이용하여 추정된 강수량 자료가 해당 지역의 강수 특성을 파악하는데 중요한 자료로 이용될 수 있다. 글로벌 위성 기반의 강수량 관측에 대한 역사는 1979년에 IR방법에 의해 위성으로부터 강우자료를 유도하는 개념이 도입된 이후 1987년 다중 채널의 마이크로파(MW) 복사계를 이용한 방법, 이후 두 IR과 MW를 혼합한 방법에서, 1997년 TRMM위성의 PR(Precpipitation Radar)의 레이더를 이용하는 방법, 그리고 2014년 GPM 핵심 위성(GPM Core Observatory)에 탑재된 Dual PR에 의한 방법으로 위성강수의 정확도를 매우 높여가고 있다. 본 연구는 대표적인 위성강수인 IMERG(Integrated MultisatellitE Retrievals for GPM)의 활용성을 높이기 위해 QGIS 기반의 위성강수 전처리 모듈을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 위성강수를 활용하기 위해서는 위성강수의 정확도 평가가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구를 통해 2017년 7월 중부지방 및 충청도 지방에 내린 강수자료를 비교한 결과 상관계수가 약 0.7정도로 상관성이 높은 것으로 분석되었고, 2018년 8월 9호 태풍 솔릭(Solik)에 대한 1시간의 시간해상도 분석 결과 상관계수 0.624로 위성강수의 활용성이 있음을 입증하였다. IMERG 위성강수의 활용성을 높이기 위하여 HDF5 포맷의 원시자료를 활용이 용이한 Tiff 로 변환하는 기능에서부터 특정범위 및 특정지점 추출 기능, Resampling 기능 등을 포함하는 전처리 모듈을 개발하였다.
