This paper surveys the mordanting and dyeing properties of Rubia akane Nakai appropriate extraction, dyeing and mordanting conditions of Rubia akane Nakai were determined, and the effect of mordanting method on dye uptake and color fastness of the dyed fabric was investigated. The optimum temperature to extract Rubia akane Nakai was during 1 hour in 8$0^{\circ}C$. The effective dyeing temperature and time of silk were 8$0^{\circ}C$, 1hour. The silk fabrics dyed with purpurin appeared red color, with alizarine appeared yellow-brown and with Rubia akane Nakai appeared yellow orange. K/S value of the dyeing fabrics was increased by pre-mordanting treatment. Mordant as Sn and Fe was better than anything else in K/S value. Mordanting treatment method affected color change of the dyed silk. In the case of Rubia akane Ntkai light fastness was increased by Fe and Al mordant treatment, Perspiration fastness of Rubia akane Nakai appeared more than 3 grades geneally. Fastness of abrasion and dry-cleaning appeared mon than 4~5 grades and these fastness improvement were generally effective for post-mordanting treatment.

The rate constant of Nucleophilic addition of sodium thiophenoxide to nitrone were determined by UV Spectrophotometry and a rate equation which can be applied over wide pH range was obtained. Base on the rate equation, general base effect, substituent effect and final product, plausible mechanism of addition reaction have been proposed. Blow pH 3.0, the reaction was initiated of thiophenol, and in the range of pH $3.0{\sim}10.0$, proceeded by the competitive addition of thiophenol and thiophenoxide anion. Above the pH 10.0, the reaction proceeded through the addition of a thiophenoxide anion.

The rate constant of the nucleophilic addition of 1-propanethiol to ${\alpha}-phenyl-N-iso-propylnitrone$ derivatives were determined at various pH and a rate equation which can be applied over wide pH range is obtained. Final product of the addition reaction was ${\alpha}-thiopropyl-p-phenylbenzylideneamine$. Base on the rate equation, general base effect, substituent effect and final product, plausible mechanism of addition reaction have been proposed. Below pH 3.0, the reaction was initiated by the addition of 1-propanthiol, and in the range of pH 3.0-10.0, proceeded by the competitive addition of 1-propanethiol and propanethiolate. Above the pH 10.0, the reaction proceeded through the addition of propanethiolate.

Unlike the welded pipes in the primary system of light water nuclear power plants being periodically inspected with in-Service inspection program, relatively small pipes with the outer diameter less than 2 inch have not been regularly inspected to date. However, after several failure reports on the occurrence of critical crack-like defects in small pipes, inspection for the small pipes has been more demanded because it could cause the provisional outage of nuclear power plants. Nevertheless, there's no particular method to examine the small pipes having access limitations for inspection due to various reasons; inaccessible area, excessive radiation exposure, hazardous surrounding, and etc. This study is to develop a reliable inspection technique using torsional and flexural modes of guided wave to detect defects that could occur in inaccessible area. The attribute of guided wave that can travel a long distance enables to inspect even isolated range of the pipe from accessible location. This paper presents a case study of the evaluation test on 3/4" small-bore pipes with guide wave method. The test result demonstrates the crack signal behavior and assures possibility to detect the crack signal in a flexural mode, which is clearly distinguishable from the symmetric structure signal in a torsional mode.

Based on the broad and in-depth literature review, the dedicated members of the committee for the development of Korean attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) practice parameter develop the Korean practice parameter for ADHD. Members of the Korean Academy of child and Adolescent Psychiatry (KACAP) had reviewed the drafts through off-line and on-line access to the drafts. Feedbacks from the members of KACAP were carefully integrated into the current practice parameter. This article presents the state of the art knowledge regarding the assessment and the management of ADHD. Recommendations in the end of the practice parameter may help clinician to make decisions in clinical practice, but are not likely to override the clinician's decision in natural settings. Future directions to complement the limitation of the current practice parameter is suggested.

The objective of this review is to propose the Korean practice guideline for pharmacological treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). For making the guideline, the authors used the evidence-base approaches derived from a detailed review of literature including wide range of controlled clinical trials, studies of side effects of drugs, toxicological reports, and meta-analyses published in United States and Europe, as well as inside Korea. The review committee composed of experts in ADHD inkoreahasreviewedtheparameter. The practice parameter for pharmacological treatment describes the use of stimulants, atomoxetine, modafinil, bupropion, tricyclic antidepressants, and alpha-adrenergic agonists and their side effects. The recommendations of pharmacological treatment are proposed at the end of the article.

This practice parameter for non-pharmacological treatment for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) review the domestic and international literature on the psychosocial treatment of children and adolescents with ADHD. This parameter include the parental training & education, cognitive behavior therapy(group or individual), social skill training, family therapy, play therapy (individual psychotherapy) and non-traditional therapy (art therapy, herbal therapy et al). Among them, there is some proven evidence only in parental training & education and cognitive behavior therapy. So, this parameter describes some details only in the field of parental training & education and cognitive behavior therapy. The efficacy or effectiveness, especially, cost-effectiveness of specific psychosocial treatment method for ADHD cannot be fairly assessed due to the scarcity of controlled clinical data. Based on the clinical expert consensus and limited evidence, we cautiously suggest the practice recommendations about the non-pharmacological psychosocial treatment fur children and adolescents with ADHD.

Autistic disorder and other PDD are currently viewed as a largely genetically determined neurodevelopmental disorder, although its underlying biological causes remain to be established. In this review, we examine the available neurodevelopmental literature on autistic disorder and discuss the findings that have emerged. Typical neuropathological observations are rather consistent with respect to the limbic system (increased cell packing density and smaller neuronal size), the cerebellum (decreased number of Purkinje cells) and the cerebral cortex ($>50\%$ of the cases showed features of cortical dysgenesis). However, most of the reported studies had to contend with the problem of small sample sizes, the use of quantification techniques, not free of bias and assumptions, and high percentages of autistic subjects with comorbid mental retardation or epilepsy. Furthermore, data from the limbic system and on age-related changes lack replication by independent groups. It is anticipated that future neuropathological studies held great promise, especially as new techniques such as design-based stereology and gene expression are increasingly implemented and combined, larger samples are analysed, and younger subjects free of comorbidities are investigated.
This study focused on the reality that the necessity to professionalize women marriage immigrants is increasing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of rural female marriage immigrants' entry into the specialized field. The factors are categorized into social and institutional factors. Based on the labor market segmentation theory, which finds the imbalance of the labor market in terms of institutional and structural factors, factors affecting rural female marriage immigrants entering managerial or professional occupations were set as social relation factors, cultural adaptation factors, and policy support experience factors. As a result of analysis, they are all found to have a statistically significant effect on rural female marriage immigrants entering managerial or professional occupations. The policy implications are that for rural immigrant women to grow into professionals, social relations and cultural learning capabilities, including language skills, need to be strengthened, as well as continued governmental support.
It has been ascertained by a few researchers that soil conditions under which the rice plants were cultivated have some effects upon the root formation of the rice plants. But, much is not known about the root formation of the rice plants cultivated in the saline paddy fields. The goal of the present investigation is to study morphological effects of the soil salinity on the development of the rice root system. The following results were obtained: 1. Under the conditions of higher soil salinity, root systems developed well at surface soil, however, root systems developed well and distributed evenly through surface and sub-soil at the saline fields where soil salinity was lower. 2. The rice plants cultivated in the higher soil salinity form less crown roots than the rice plants which cultivated at the lower soil salinity. 3. As for the formation of the stunted roots, it was found out that relatively rice plant cultivated in higher soil salinity forms more stunted roots than the rice plants cultivated in lower soil salinity. 4. The crown root cultivated in the higher soil salinity forms more lateral roots per unit langth than the root cultivated in lower soil salinity. 5. As for the root hair formation, the crown root cultivated in higher soil salinity bears less haired epidermis and shorter root hairs than the root cultivated in lower soil salinity.
