Development and Validation of Psychological Difficulties Scale of Working Moms (워킹맘 심리적 어려움 척도 개발 및 타당화: 대졸이상 고학력 워킹맘 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the Psychological Difficulties Scale of Working Moms(PDSWM). In the first study, 69items and 17 factors of the inventory were obtained based on interview, open-ended questionnaires. In the second study, the on-line surveys from 306 working mom was carried to analyze factor structure of the PDSWM. The final result showed that the 12 factor model with 64 items was appropriate. The third study was collected from 638 working mom and in order to make certain the cross-validity of the inventory, the group was divided into two groups (each group with 319 employees). The results of exploratory factor analyses using data of group 1 showed that the 8 factor structure with 48 items was appropriate. Also the results of confirmatory factor analysis using data of group 2 showed that the 8 factor structure indicated a satisfactory fit. Final 8 factors were as follows: 1) Feeling Apologetic to family members 2) Discrimination at workplace 3) burnt-out: both body and mind 4) Unequal distribution of child-rearing and house chore labor 5) Conflict with the babysitter/grandparents 6) Limit in further strengthening work competency 7) Social prejudice 8) Difficulty being on time for work. The PDSWM was significantly correlated with various criteria such as organizational commitment, life satisfaction, and work engagement. Based on such findings, implications, limitations, and the suggestions for future study were discussed.

Task Synchronization Mechanism for Round Robin based Proportional Share Scheduling (라운드 로빈 기반 비례지분 스케줄링을 위한 동기화 기법)

  • Round robin based proportional share scheduling(RRPS) defines weight which determines share for each task and allocates CPU resource to each task in proportional to its respective weight. RRPS uses fairness as the measure of performance and aims at high fairness of scheduling. However, researches for scheduling fairness problem due to synchronization among tasks have been rarely investigated. In this paper, we discuss that scheduling delay due to synchronization may result high unfairness in RRPS. We explain such a situation as weight inversion. We then propose weight inheritance protocol(WIP), a synchronization mechanism, that prevents weight inversion. We also show that WIP can reduce unfairness using fairness analysis and simulation.

An Analysis of Satisfaction with School Forest Using Triangular Fuzzy Number (삼각퍼지수를 활용한 학교숲 만족도 분석)

  • Wooded areas that are a part of school campuses are one type of urban forest. Most schools located in an urban environment make an excellent setting for a forest in terms of location and area. These kinds of wooded spaces also make the city greener and healthier. As a place where students spend a great deal of time, schools can also be a venue for environmental education. The creation of wooded areas in schools currently has focused on the end result only; by ignoring student needs and participation, these areas have not had a significant influence on student environmental education. Previous studies based on questionnaire survey are significant in that they have quantified subjective qualitative data via Likert Scale. There has been, however, a problem in quantifying the more ambiguous subjective data. Therefore, this paper has attempted to investigate those factors that have an influence on student satisfaction with the wooded areas of their school campus using Fuzzy Theory with elementary school students in Gyeongsangbuk-do. A change was observed in terms of the ranking of arithmetic mean values of 'school peculiarity' and 'emotion evolution' and center of gravity, which has adopted Fuzzy Theory, proving that Fuzzy Theory could rationally objectify qualitative data such as human thoughts. In terms of the influential factors on the satisfaction with school forests(regression coefficient), 'school uniqueness(0.159)' was the highest, followed by 'many trees(0.142),' 'importance of nature(0.136)' and 'emotion evolution(0.130).' This paper may therefore be useful as basic data for objective questionnaire surveys and the development of school forests.

  • The integral Hellmann-Feynman Theorem of Parr is generalized to give a full significance to the off-diagonal form, and certain aspects of it are discussed. By use of the generalized form of the theorem, effects of configuration interaction to the crystal field theory are examined, taking perturbation energies of all order collectively into account. Thus, it is shown that there do not exist, especially when the field is strong, the radial integral which is common to all states characterized by ${\Gamma}$, S and m, and could be parametrized. If, however, one restricts the perturbing excited states only to those angularly undistorted and radially equally distorted, there results simple scaling of the crystal field parameter 10 Dq and Condon-Slater parameter $F^n$ defined within the framework of the classical crystal field theory.

A Study on the River MEanders in Geum River System. (금강수계의 사행에 관한 연구)

  • In recent years owing to extensive land reclamation, increased river engineering activites and morer intense flood plain use, river geomorphology has attracted considerable attention. One of outstanding problems has been maintenance of river meanders and nearly all natural river exhibit the tendency to meander. Often the meander geometry was fitted in to various idealized model. COnsequently, both the selection of data and the methods to determine the geometric parameters were highly subject to individual preferences. This study applied statistical analysis in tipifying their shape and analysised meander characteristics by channel model of line generalization algorithm. This method is applied to Geum river system. The results show that the variance of curvature is a better index to describe the meander intensity and the kurtosis is a good index to characterize the total length of the straight sections for a given reach. The results also show that channel model of line generalization algorithm is a good model in analysis of meander characterisitics.

  • 프랑스 몽티냑에 위치한 라스코 동굴에는 오늘날까지 발견된 수많은 구석기시대 동굴벽화 가운데 대표적인 그림들을 보존하고 있다. 동굴 벽화는 대략 BC 15,000년 전 것으로 연구되어 왔으며 최근 몇몇 학자들에 의해서 그 가운데 몇몇 그림들이 별자리를 그린 것이라는 이론이 제기되었다. 본 논문에서는 동굴 그림 가운데 황소 전당에 그려진 벽화를 별자리로 동정해 보았다. 그 결과 이것들이 성좌화임을 발견했다. 그림은 흥미롭게도 별자리와 암흑 성간운을 구별했는데 별자리는 윤곽선으로 그린 반면 검은 성간운은 검은 바탕의 그림으로 나타냈다. 그림은 벽화들의 특징과 구도 그리고 배열순서로 볼 때 전천 성좌도를 그린 것으로 동정되었는데 이는 당시 밤하늘에 보이는 별자리들과 암흑 성간운들의 구도와 배열의 일치에서 신뢰할 수 있었다. 벽화에는 황소자리, 플레이아데스, 오리온삼성, 오리온자리-쌍둥이자리, 사자자리-처녀자리-뱀자리, 천칭자리-사수자리-전갈자리가 그려져 있으며, 특히 은하중심의 사수자리에서 고물자리에 이르는 길다란 은하평면상의 검은 암흑성간운들의 특징적 나열을 들판을 뛰어가는 검은색 동물로 나타냈다. 척도를 감안해서 볼 때, 그림의 구도와 배열순서가 밤하늘에 보이는 것과 거의 같다 할만큼 사실적으로 그려져 있어서 구석기인들이 지적능력이 오늘날 현대인들과 다를 바 없는 수준에 이르렀다고 추정된다.

  • In this paper the patterns of information system is reduced so that control rules can guarantee fast response of queries in database. Generally an information system includes many kinds of necessary and unnecessary attribute. In particular, inconsistent information system is less likely to acquire the accuracy of response. Hence we are interested in the simple and understandable rules that can represent useful patterns by means of rough entropy and Bayesian posterior probability. We propose an algorithm which can reduce control rules to a minimum without inadequate patterns such that the implication between condition attributes and decision attributes is measured through the framework of rough entropy. Subsequently the validation of the proposed algorithm is showed through test information system of new employees appointment.

  • In decision-making, information is the thing manufactured as the useful type for decision -making. We can improve the efficiency of decision-making by elimination of unnecessary information. Rough set is the theory that can classify and reduce the unnecessary. But the reduction process of rough set becomes more complex according to the number of attribute and tuple. After eliminating of the dispensable attributes using $\chi$2 and rough set, the indispensable attributes are used for the units of input layers in neural network. This rough-neural network can support more correct decision-making of neural network.

The Development of the Family System Diagnosis Scale and Its Validity - On the Basis of Minuchin′s Structural Family Therapy Theory- (가족체계 진단 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 - Minuchin의 구조적 가족치료 이론에 기초하여 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the Family System Diagnosis Scale and to examine its reliability and validity. The subscales of the questionnaire included scores on seven constructs. In order to define constructs accurately, a careful review of Minuchin's writings, the writings of other family therapists, and relevant articles on family interaction was undertaken. A pool of 150 items was given to eight family counselors along with a description of Minuchin' s concepts. The counselors were asked to choose the category each statement fit and to rate the degree of fit using the 3-point scale. Using exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and Linear Structural Relationship(LISREL), six subdimensions of individuation and 55 items of FSDS were identified; enmeshmen disengagement(16 items), parent coalition generational coalition(6 items), flexibility rigidity(5 items), spouse conflict resolved unresolved(8 items), mother-child cohesion estrangement(10 items), father-child cohesion estrangement(10 items). 356 adolescents(ages 13∼18), 356 fathers, 356 mothers in Seoul, Busan, Dague, Incheun, Dajeun, Ulsan, and Kwangju were completed the Family System Diagnosis Scale(FSDS). The reliability of the scale was calculated by Cronbach's a Coefficient and the total a = .94 and the calculation for each factor was .87, .60, .77, .80 and .79 respectively.

  • In this paper, the electric potential of electrode surface is investigated by assuming them as two dimensional sets of point current sources. And, the simulated water tank is manufactured as a reduced scale of the earth. Henceforth, the adequate model electrode for test is decided to decrease experimental errors relevant to the limitation of the size of the water tank. The one of important things of this work, the deduction method of the potential interference factor is proposed, which used as the criterion of the potential interference according to the shape of conductors and the laying conditions, when multiple grounding conductors are situated at the same resistance grounding area. Also, the validity of this theory is verified from a numerical simulation of the grounding electrode to be used in experiments, and this study is realized by the verified theory and the simulated experiments.
