공동주택의 배치유형에 따른 창호 시스템의 채광특성 (Daylighting Performance of Refurbished Window System based on Site Plans in Recently-Planned Apartment Houses)

  • Though they have advantages in terms of aesthetic in modern architecture, however, rectangular-shaped towers causes being short of natural light due to deep interior space. There are compromised attempts to take advantages of each building shape selectively. As a result, we now witness the advent of Y-shaped, T-shaped, V-shaped and ㅈ-shaped buildings on the market. The mutative type of apartment houses usually faces southwest or southeast, which has lot of daylighting availability but anyhow, the proportion of the apartment houses which have a full south aspect. The need to verify the potential of daylighting in new building-block shapes exists. At the same time, the expansion of balcony area was legalized and thus, a visual buffer area does not exist any more. All-glass window wall on apartment houses without a balcony produces pretty harmful area with direct sunbeam. Recently, the refurbished version of conventional windows has been developed for the purposed of minimizing energy loss occurred around windows. This research initialized a series of research to deal with almost all on window wall for apartment houses. First of all, huge amount of already-designed examples of apartment houses have been analyzed in terms of floor plan, elevation, orientation and glazing materials.

액체로켓용 터보펌프 성능예측에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Studies on the Performance Prediction of a Turbopump System for Liquid Rocket Engines)

  • The hydraulic performance analysis of an entire pump system composed of inducer, impeller, volute and seal for the application of turbopumps is numerically performed using three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations. A quasi-steady mixing-plane method is used on the impeller/volute interface to simulate the unsteady interaction phenomena. From this work, the effects of each component on the pump performance are investigated at design and off-design conditions through the analysis of flow structures and loss mechanisms. The computational results are in a good agreement with experimental ones in terms of the headrise and efficiency even though very complex flow structures are present. It is found that the asymmetric pressure distribution along the volute wall constitutes the main reason of the difference between experimental and computational results, due to the limitation of the quasi-steady method. Since the volute was found to be over-designed by the pressure distribution of the volute wall, re-design of the volute has been performed, resulting in an improved performance characteristic.

  • 액체로켓엔진에 적용되는 원심형 터보펌프의 효율특성을 실험적으로 고찰하였다. 펌프 단품에 대한 시험결과를 토대로 터보펌프 조립체의 성능을 예측하면서 시험매질에 따른 펌프의 효율특성에 대한 변화를 분석하였다. 펌프에 적용된 작동유체로 단품시험을 위해서는 상온 청수와 액체질소, 터보펌프 조립체 시험에서는 케로신(Jet A-1)과 액체산소(LOX)가 적용되었다. 설계점과 탈설계점 영역을 포함하는 전반적인 작동조건에 대하여 펌프의 효율특성을 파악하였고, 단품시험으로부터 실매질 환경에서 보정된 펌프효율을 구할 수 있었다.

  • Recently, curtain wall structure is constructed according to increasing high rise building. Glass is usually used in opening of curtain wall structure and window area ratio is finally increased. Excessive Daylighting and solar radiation by large window area ratio cause discomfort glare and add to cooling load in the case of office that is heavy on lighting and cooling. Therefore, this study suggests to use low transmittance window for solve those problems. Indoor lighting environment and building energy performance were analyzed by increasing transmittance from 10% to 90% and comparing fixed venetian blind. Consequently, the range of transmittance that is possible to daylighting and prevent discomfort glare. Secondary energy consumption is efficient in the case that transmittance is the range of from 20% to 50%, primary energy consumption is nice on from 20% to 40%. If those result put together, the range of window transmittance from 30% to 50% is proper in the office in lighting environment and energy consumption aspects.

  • 본 논문에서 항공기용 터보 축 엔진의 결함 진단 알고리즘을 개발하기 위해 Support Vector Machine(SVM)과 인공신경망(ANN)을 이용하였다. 신경망을 이용한 시스템은 비선형성이 과도한 데이터를 학습할 때 지역 최소점(Local Minima)에 빠져 분류 정확률이 낮아질 수 있다. 이러한 위험성을 보안하기 위해 SVM에 의한 ANN의 분할 학습 알고리즘(SLA)을 제안하였다. 이것은 SVM을 이용하여 결함 위치를 판별 한 후 신경망이 선택적으로 학습을 하는 방법으로 학습 데이터의 비선형성을 줄여 분류 정확률을 높이기 때문에 신경망을 단독으로 사용할 때보다 개선된 성능을 보여주었다.

플로팅링 실 간극이 터보펌프용 펌프의 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effects of floating-ring seal clearance on the performance of the pump)

  • Pumps for a turbopump generally operate under high rotational speeds and large head rise conditions. Therefore, reliability is a prime design requirement. Floating-ring type seals are frequently employed in a turbopump because of robustness despite of low hydraulic efficiency. There are many researches on the floating-ring seal itself, but the effects of the floating ring seals on the performance of the whole pump are not widely studied in spite of their importance. In the present study, experimental and computational studies on the effects of the radial clearance of the floating ring seals on the performance of a pump were performed. The experimental results showed that the head rise and efficiency increased as the floating-ring seal clearance was decreased. The results also showed the possibility that the leakage flow which was injected to the inlet of the inducer could enhance the suction performance of the inducer by diminishing the size of the backflows.

해저열수광상 채광 로봇의 해저면 주행성능 시뮬레이션 (Driving Performance Simulation of Mining Robot for SMS deposits)

  • KIOST developed a deep-sea mining robot called "MineRo" to collect manganese nodules in 2007. MineRo operates on flat ground. SMS (seafloor massive sulfide) deposits are shaped like undulating mountains. This paper deals with a numerical analysis model of a mining robot for SMS deposits. The mining robot consists of a tracked vehicle, chassis structure with a turntable, boom arm with 2 articulations, excavation tool, discharging unit, hydro-electric system, and sensing-and-monitoring system. In order to compare and analyze the dynamic responses of the driving mechanism, various tracked vehicles are modeled using commercial software. Straight driving simulations are conducted under undulating ground conditions. A conceptual design of a mining robot with four track systems for SMS deposits is modeled on the basis of these results.

  • This paper presents the analysis result of load-transfer mechanism and pile movements associated with the development of frictional resistance to understand the engineering characteristics of micropile behavior. An field load tests were performed for two different types of micropiles and they are (i) thread bar reinforcement with D=50mm and (ii) hollow steel pipe reinforcement with $D_{out}$=82.5mm and $D_{in}$=60.5mm and wrapped with woven geotextile for post-grouting. The load test results indicated that micropiling with pressured grouting provided better load-transfer characteristics than micropiling with gravity grouting under both compressive and tensile loading conditions in that unit skin frictional resistance is well distributed along installation depth. The unit weight and unconfined compressive strength of cured grout were obtained for each piling method. The strength and unit weight of micropile with pressured grouting was higher than those with gravity grouting. The fact that load bearing quality with pressured grouting is better than that of gravity grouting could be attributed to the dense mutual adhesion between surrounding ground and pile due to pressurized grouting method and better grout quality.

UICC 16bit 상에서의 LEA 구현 적합성 연구 (A LEA Implementation study on UICC-16bit)

  • 본 논문에서는 2013년 12월 18일에 국내표준(TTA-KO-12.0223)으로 제정된 블록암호 알고리즘 LEA(Lightweight Encryption Algorithm)[1]에 대한 UICC-16bit 상에서의 최적 구현에 대해 연구한다. LEA의 전체적인 구조를 설명하며, 키 스케줄 과정에서 고정된 상수를 통해 미리계산이 가능하여 효율성을 높일 수 있다는 점을 제시하며 이러한 개선된 키 스케줄링을 통하여 얻게되는 상수 table을 이용하여 UICC-16비트 상에 구현하였다. 또한 UICC-16bit 상에서 국내 표준 블록암호 ARIA와의 성능 비교를 통해 LEA블록암호의 우수성을 평가하였다.

  • 본 논문은 Self-Organizing Time Division Multiple Access (SO-TDMA) 기반의 MAC 프로토콜을 사용하는 다중-홉 해양통신망에서 비실시간 서비스뿐만 아니라 종단간 지연시간 품질을 보장해야 하는 실시간 서비스를 통합적으로 지원하기 위한 새로운 프레임 구조를 제안하고, 실시간 트래픽의 부하에 따라 적응적으로 자원을 분배하는 방안을 제시한다. 실시간 사용자의 평균 불능 성능을 보장하기 위한 자원 할당을 통해 동적으로 프레임 구조를 제어하는 방안을 제시한다. 한편, 이를 위한 평균 불능 확률을 수학적으로 분석하고, 이에 따라 결정된 프레임 구조에 대해서 실시간 서비스의 품질을 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한다.
