An Enhanced Target State Estimation using Covariance Analysis Techniques for a Monopulse Sonar System (공분산 행렬 해석기법을 이용한 모노펄스 소나 표적상태 추정 성능 향상 기법)

  • Target state estimation is a fundamental problem of the sonar signal processing. In this paper, the covariance analysis techniques are applied to enhance the performance of the target state estimation of a monopulse sonar system. MOST, the artificial target signal generator based on the highlight model is used to generate signals in various target states. The performance of the developed method has been evaluated by applying it to the various S/N. The enhanced performance of the covariance analysis method presented in this paper is discussed.

  • This study is about the description method & scope of maintenability in window components which have been applied to the remodelling work in Apartment Housing. Already we did established the maintenability performance index through the preceding research in recent. It is defined as changeability, prefabrication, coordination. and capacity of performance preservation. As the results of analysys on the performance information that is reported by catalog & internet media, the ratio of adaptation as a maintenabilty performance was revealed to percentage of 11(11%). And as the respects of represented content, majority of the performance information only have dealt with advertising-effect, rather than physical performance make easy to change and separat.

  • Recently operation and maintenance cost of gas turbine engines has been issued as a major parameter in terms of designing and manufacturing. Accordingly, the conception that the maintenance and repair of an engine has to be conducted in assembled condition has been spreaded out. However, it is possible only if the prediction of the engine performance is clearly identified. In this study, therefore, a diagnostic code of the engine performance has been developed by using GPA(Gas Path Analysis) and Fuzzy Logic which can analyze the engine performance and estimate the health parameters. The prediction of the quantitative performance deterioration of the established model of the turbo-shaft engine for SUAV has been achieved in a satisfied level compared to that obtained by GSP code.

  • In this paper, the effects of the hardware components and runtime environments on the overall performance of a distributed shared memory system are analyzed through simulation. In simulation, the system is modeled using PARSE[1.2] closely to the real runtime environment and the 2D FFT is virtually executed on it. The results of simulation show that the minor hardware components such as bus interfaces and local bus of a processor, which are usuallyignored or neglected when analyzing performance. have significant impacts on the overall system performance. Performance variations caused from runtime environments such as loop overhead and code optimuzatio are also analyzed quantitatively.

  • 원자로 압력용기의 건전성은 원전의 수명과 직결되며, 압력용기는 운전기간동안 중성자의 조사에 의해 재료의 성질이 저하된다. 중성자 조사량 감소방안을 도출하기 위해 MCNP코드를 이용, 고리 1호기 14주기 원자로심을 3차원으로 모델링하고, 원자로심 핵연료집합체를 제외한 주변구조물에 새로운 추가차폐체를 설치하여 조사량 감소에 효과가 있는 위치를 찾고, 여러 재질의 차폐 성능도 평가하였다. 분석결과, Ta 패드를 이용한 설계안의 경우에 압력용기 용접부위에서 약 32% 정도의 속중성자 조사량 감소가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • An experimental investigation for leakage performance of five anti-swirl self-injection seals was carried out to select an optimum configuration for minimum leakage. Test results show that the self-injection mechanism with a plain seal generally degrades the leakage performance of noncontacting seals; however, through a series of the test program, an optimum anti-swirl self injection seal was selected to obtain a comparable leakage performance with a damper seal. A 12 holes anti-swirl and anti-leakage self-injected. configuration with a labyrinth surface gives minimum leakage among the tested anti-swirl self-injection seals.

  • This paper describes performance of the modified gain scheduling controller by speed control of a DC motor. The modified gain scheduling controller can perform tracking at more than one equilibrium points. The modified gain scheduling controller which considers transient response according to added zero shows better result of tracking performance than the unmodified gain scheduling controller shows.

  • This paper proposes an hybrid person identification algorithm utilizing finger crease pattern and finger thickness profiles. We have observed that by adding finger thickness profiles as a feature vector, we could improve the performance of the person identification system utilizing only finger crease pattern. We presented the comparative evaluation of the proposed algorithm in detail.
