Improvement of Performance of Malware Similarity Analysis by the Sequence Alignment Technique (서열 정렬 기법을 이용한 악성코드 유사도 분석의 성능 개선)

  • Malware variations could be defined as malicious executable files that have similar functions but different structures. In order to classify the variations, this paper analyzed sequence alignment, the method used in Bioinformatics. This method found common parts of the Malwares' API call information. This method's performance is dependent on the API call information's length; if the length is too long, the performance should be very poor. Therefore we removed the repeated patterns in API call information in order to improve the performance of sequence alignment analysis, before the method was applied. Finally the similarity between malware was analyzed using sequence alignment. The experimental results with the real malware samples were presented.

  • A Neotec infrared instrument was evaluated for determination of protein contents of wheat and barley. Correlation coefficients between protein content determined on the instrument and by the Kjeldahl method were highly significant (0.97 to 0.98). Accuracy of analyses, measured by the standard error of a single test was 0.07 to 0.16, giving a coefficient of variability of 0.6 to 1. 1%. Method of grinding samples affected particle size and type. Particle size did not directly influence protein values; however, greater accuracy and reproducibility were achieved with smaller particle sizes. Packing density inside the loading tell also influenced the analytical results.

  • 대규모 언어 모델(Large Language Models, LLM)의 발전과 더불어 대량의 학습 데이터로부터 기인한 LLM의 편향성에 관심이 집중하고 있다. 최근 선행 연구들에서는 LLM이 이러한 경향성을 탈피하고 다양한 언어 패턴을 생성하게 하기 위하여 LLM에 여러가지 페르소나를 부여하는 방법을 제안하고 있다. 일부에서는 사람의 성격을 설명하는 성격 5 요인 이론(Big 5)을 이용하여 LLM에 다양한 성격 특성을 가진 페르소나를 부여하는 방법을 제안하였고, 페르소나 간의 성격의 차이가 다양한 양상의 언어 사용 패턴을 이끌어낼 수 있음을 보였다. 그러나 제한된 횟수의 입력만으로 목표하는 성격의 페르소나를 생성하려 한 기존 연구들은 세밀히 서로 다른 성격을 가진 페르소나를 생성하는 데에 한계가 있었다. 본 연구에서는 페르소나 부여 과정에서 피드백을 반복하여 제공함으로써 세세한 성격의 차이를 가진 페르소나를 생성하는 방법론을 제안한다. 본 연구의 실험과 분석을 통해, 제안하는 방법론으로 형성된 성격 페르소나가 다양한 언어 패턴을 효과적으로 만들어 낼 수 있음을 확인했다.

  • As the popularity of implant treatment using a variety of problems have been reported. The proper torque values recommended by the manufacturer and the actual tightening force applied to the observed differences. Period for each product used in this study using different torque controllers accuracy for each of the comparisons, were analyzed. Error rate varies by the manufacturer, but all the products used in the reference period for increasing the error rate increased. Repeat the initial tightening, but the reference, showed a value close to the reference value for the width of change was larger. However, increasing the number of repeated tightening of the reference value for the error rate increased, but has reduced the width of the observed changes.

Effects of ADMIRE Algorithms on Fat Measurements Using Computed Tomography (CT) (CT를 이용한 지방측정에 ADMIRE 알고리즘이 미치는 영향)

  • To investigate the effects of iterative reconstruction algorithms on fat measurements using computed tomography (CT), we comparatively and quantitatively analyzed the ratios of visceral, subcutaneous, and visceral-subcutaneous fat areas as well as the variations of HU and noise of visceral and subcutaneous fat using ADMIRE strength and attempted to identify any difference between them. Experimental results showed that no statistically significant difference existed among the visceral, subcutaneous, and visceral-subcutaneous fat area ratios HU of visceral fat area and HU of subcutaneous fat area when applying ADMIRE as compared with existing conventional filtered back projection algorithms. However, as the ADMIRE strength increases, the noise of visceral and subcutaneous fat decreases by up to 12.1% and 19.2%, respectively. In conclusion, iterative reconstruction algorithms have no effect on the visceral, subcutaneous, and visceral-subcutaneous fat area ratios, which are indicators of fat measurement using CT.

Approaches to measurement system analysis in quality management (품질경영에서 측정시스템분석 방안)

  • There should be no problem in the measurement system for scientific quality management. In this paper, we want to correctly identify the factors that can affect the measurement results during the measurement process and identify what causes them when the measurement results cause problems in terms of location and variation. Variations in the measurement system are largely described in terms of location and dispersion. Location-related attributes are accuracy, stability, and linearity while dispersion-related attributes are reproducibility and repeatability. Analyzing the factors associated with dispersion is an R&R analysis, in which the size of repeatability and reproducibility is represented by a range of differences between multiple measurements and a range of differences between measurements, and 99% of dispersion is determined. Experimental design can also be used for measurement system analysis. Proper analysis is performed only when the factors causing the fluctuation, the worker and the product, are correctly identified as random or fixed factors.

Normal MR Spectroscopic Findings of the Cerebellum and Pons: Comparison of the Results between Intra-Unit and Inter-Unit Studies (소뇌와 뇌교의 정상 자기공명분광 소견: 같은 장비내 및 다른 장비간의 결과 비교)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study are to evaluate normal MR spectroscopy (MRS) data of the cerebellum and pons, and to evaluate intra-unit and inter-unit differences of the results. Materials and methods: Nine normal volunteers (mean age 23 years) were studied with two 1.5 Tesla MR units (A and B units). A total of four sessions of MRS study were performed with two sessions in ea.ch MR unit in each volunteer. In each session, MRS data were obtained from bilateral cerebellar hemisphere and pons. MRS was performed using spin-echo single voxel technique with repetition time of 2000 ms, echo time of 288ms and 128 averagings. Voxel size was $2{\;}{\times}{\;}2{\;}{\times}{\;}1.5{\;}cm$ in the cerebellum and $1.5{\;}{\times}{\;}1.5{\;}{\times}{\;}1.5{\;}cm$ in the pons. Metabolite ratios of NAA/Cho, NAAcCr, NAAc(Cho+Cr) and Cr/Cho (both peak heights and the peak areas) were compared among the results of four sessions of MRS for evaluation of intra-unit and inter-unit differences. Results: In the cerebellum, mean (SO values of peak height NAA/Cho, NAA/Cr, NAA/(Cho+Cr) and Cr/Cho ratios obtained in the first session of A unit were $1.08{\pm}O.16,{\;}1.44{\pm}O.286,{\;}0.61{\pm}O.09{\;}and{\;}O.76{\pm}0.13$, respectively. Comparing with the results of the second session, intra-unit differences were 3-7%. In B unit intra-unit differences were 1-9%, except for 22% of Cr/Cho ratio. Inter-unit differences between A and B units were 1-26%. In the pons, mean ISD values of peak height NANCho, NANCr, NANICho + Cr) and Cr/Cho ratios obtained in the first session of A unit were $1.51{\pm}O.35,{\;}3.35{\pm}O.78,{\;}1.02{\pm}0.16{\;}and{\;}0.47{\pm}O.14$, respectively. Mean NAAfCho, NANCr and NAAI(Cho+ Cr} ratios of the pons were significantly higher than those of the cerebellum. Intra-unit differences were 2-21 % in A unit and 4-18 % in B unit. Inter-unit differences between A and B units were 1-18%. The mean values obtained by using peak area were generally higher and wider in range than those of peak height in both units. Conclusion: Mean NAAfCho, NAAlCr and NAAf(Cho+Cr) ratios of the cerebellum were significanHy lower than those of the pons. Intra-unit differences of most metabolites ratios were generally not significant, whereas inter-unit differences were greater than intra-unit differences in more metabolite ratios. Therefore, normal MRS data of the cerebellum and the pons should be obtained in every MR unit, before MRS applications in the diseases of the cerebellum and the pons.

Studying the Differences in the Effects of Theoretical and Practical, Face-to-face and Virtual Teaching Methods on Entrepreneurship and Willingness to Start a Business: University Students During the Coronavirus Pandemic (이론 및 실습, 대면 및 비대면 교육 방식이 기업가정신과 창업의지에 미치는 효과 차이 연구: 코로나 펜데믹 상황의 대학생들을 대상으로)

  • This study analyzed the differences in the effects on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial willingness of college students under the coronavirus pandemic by dividing theoretical education into practical education, face-to-face education, and non-face-to-face education, and analyzed the differences in the effects on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship willingness according to the education method. This study conducted entrepreneurship education for 552 students at a comprehensive university in Chungcheong-do, Korea, and analyzed the sample by dividing it into theoretical and practical education, face-to-face education, and non-face-to-face education. In addition, a two-way repeated measures ANOVA was conducted to determine whether there were differences in the entrepreneurship education course operation form according to the pre- and post-education time points. The results showed that, first, the difference between the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education before and after theoretical and practical education was significant, and the entrepreneurship of practical education was higher than that of theoretical education after education. In the test of pre- and post-training differences in entrepreneurial intention, the difference in effectiveness was significant only in practical training. Second, the results of the repeated measures ANOVA analysis of the course operation type of theoretical and practical courses according to the difference between the pre- and post-education time points showed that there were differences in the entrepreneurship effectiveness of theoretical and practical courses according to the time point of education. Third, the difference in the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education according to face-to-face and non-face-to-face education was significant, and only the effect of non-face-to-face education on entrepreneurial intention was significant before and after education. Fourth, the results of repeated measures ANOVA analysis of face-to-face and non-face-to-face course operation type showed that the effect of face-to-face and non-face-to-face entrepreneurship education differed depending on the time of education. The pre-post difference in entrepreneurial intention was significant only for the non-face-to-face program. The implication of this study is that in order to increase the effectiveness of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial will among university students, it is necessary to expand the amount of practical classes in which students actively participate in activities related to entrepreneurship. In addition, in order to increase the effectiveness of entrepreneurial will, a non-face-to-face education method that utilizes the metaverse space and increases the role of each student can contribute to increasing the effectiveness of entrepreneurial will.

Halftone Image Watermarking Based on Iterative Error Minimizing Method (반복적인 에러 최소화 기법을 이용한 하프톤 영상 워터마킹)

  • In this paper, we propose a new watermark algorithm for halftone images using iterative error minimizing method. In the proposed method, watermark bits are hidden at pseudo-random locations within a halftone image. To remove the distortions due to the inserted watermark bits and increase the invisibility of watermark, an iterative error minimizing technique is used. We define the halftoning error is defined as the difference between the original grayscale image and HVS-filtered printed halftone image. Then we iteratively find the pixel pattern with minimum halftoning error and displace the original pixel pattern with it. In order to be robust to geometrical modification like cropping or rotation, we insert the same watermark periodically into halftone images. Experiments using printed and scanned images show that the proposed method is a robust method to the geometrical modification and to hide the large amount of data within a halftone image without noticeable distortion.

  • This paper experimentally evaluates the strength characteristics of precast column-R.C. foundation anchor joint subjected to the cyclic horizontal load. The study presents differences in accurate stress transfer path and destruction mechanism between the concrete structural body applying the precast column-R.C. foundation anchor joint and the concrete structural body applying the steel joint. the result from width load experiment on reinforcing steel under the cyclic horizontal load provides the necessary minimum insertion length to construct the precast column-R.C. foundation anchor joint. This study also presents the accurate stress transfer path and destruction mechanism on the anchor joint th meet the customer's requirements, comparing stress transfer path and destruction mechanism provided by the experiment and those provided by the product manual. Eventually, this study presents all the necessary fundamental data to provide the construction design with accurate number of reinforcing steel, diameter of the steel, fixation length of the steel, etc. to build the optimum precast concrete column.
