차열도료용 Cool Pigment 및 Paint 개발 (Development of IR Reflective Cool Pigment and Paint)

  • 본 논문에서는 도심 열섬현상 방지 및 에너지 효율을 높이기 위하여 적외선 반사율이 30%이상인 건물 내 외장재용 흑색 차열안료 및 도료에 대한 연구를 하였다. 안료는 $Fe_2O_3$$Cr_2O_3$의 혼합원료를 $900{\sim}1,200^{\circ}C$에서 소성하여 합성하였으며, 도료는 합성한 안료에 아크릴수지와 기타첨가제를 사용하여 제조하였다. 연구결과, Cr과 Fe을 1:0.9 몰비로 혼합하여 $1,000^{\circ}C$에서 소성한 안료의 발색도가 가장 우수하였고, 차열안료 20%에 분산제 1.5%를 첨가하여 제조한 차열도료로 $125{\mu}m$ 두께의 도막을 형성시켰을 때 적외선 반사가 가장 우수하였다. 차열도료와 일반도료의 표면온도 차이는 $36.5^{\circ}C$로 나타났으며 700~2,500nm 파장대의 적외선 반사율(TSR)은 39.3%로 측정되었다. 또한, 500시간의 내후성 평가에서 색상변화는 거의 나타나지 않았다.

세라믹 결정구조의 고기능성 차열도료 개발 및 성능평가 (The Development and Performance on High Functional Cool Paints of Ceramic Crystal Structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 적외선 반사기능을 가지는 황색, 흑색안료를 PVDF, 첨가제와 배합하여 링밀에서 3,000rpm으로 10분간 분산한 후 세라믹 결정구조의 차열도료를 제조하였으며, 도막형성 후 $180^{\circ}C$에서 10분간 건조하여 도료에 대한 표면온도, 내후성(Q.U.V), 적외선 반사율(%)을 평가하였다. 연구결과 황색안료 9%를 첨가하여 $150{\mu}m$ 두께의 도막을 형성시켰을 때, 일반도료와의 표면온도 차이는 $10.1^{\circ}C$, 700~2,500nm 파장대의 적외선 반사율은 40% 이었으며, 흑색안료 9%를 첨가하여 $200{\mu}m$ 두께의 도막을 형성시켰을 때, 표면온도차 $18.8^{\circ}C$, 적외선 반사율 66.7%로 측정되었고, 내후성은 모두 우수하게 나타났다.

차열도료 적용을 통한 국내 건축물의 에너지 성능 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change in Energy Performance of the Domestic Building by the Isolation-heat Paint)

  • In this study, it is quantitatively analyzed for thermal Characteristics of isolation-heat paint which has been supplied to a domestic market through experiments and simulations. In the case of experiment using the container box, it shows 8% decrease on cooling energy consumption in a summer season, but shows increase on heating energy consumption. As a result, the analysis has found increase of energy consumption. As a result of holding simulations with meteorological data of domestic major cities, it shows an increase of energy consumption in domestic condition, and it is hard to expect an energy saving from the isolation-heat paint unless greater air-conditioning load.

친환경 세라믹 도료 열적측정을 통한 쿨루프 정책 확대방안 (Expansion of Cool Roof Policy through Thermal Measurement of Eco-Friendly Ceramic Coating)

  • The urban heat island phenomenon that accelerates global warming has always been controversial when summer heatwaves have occurred since it was first investigated and described by Luke Howard in the 1810s. In Korea, since 2014, government have been interested in Cool Roof and painted white coating on the rooftops of the aging and weak buildings, and the cool roof business has expanded nationwide. However, the roof occupies 20-25% of the entire city surface, much less than 37-45% of the pavement area consisting of roads, parking lots and sidewalks, there is a need to expand the policy of Cool Pavement as a way to reduce the urban heat island phenomenon. Domestic cities are high-rise buildings centered on apartments, and the area occupied by outer walls is larger than that of rooftops compared to foreign low-rise buildings. Therefore, as a way to reduce the urban heat island phenomenon, there is a need for a policy to expand the Cool Roof in buildings and use Cool Wall in parallel. Therefore, this study aims to present the expansion of Cool Wall in buildings and Cool Pavement in urban areas, expanding the installation range of Cool Roof, by comparing and reviewing the thermal characteristics of eco-friendly ceramic coating with excellent thermal proof performance and coatings used for roof waterproofing.

지역의 경관을 고려한 도막방수재의 색채별 사계절 차열 및 축열 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Four-Season Cooling Performance by Color of Water Proofing Membrane Materials Considering the View of Area)

  • This study comparatively analyzed thermal characteristics of the green color, which is currently used the most, and other various colors of a rooftop urethane water proofing sheet. This study also analyzed the cooling performance by color of the water proofing sheet that fused cooling paints, and presented the effective water proofing sheet color for building energy savings. The experimental results are as follows: (1) The value of L (brightness) diminished, and brilliance also became lower from the white color to the black color, and thus, it was confirmed that relatively more heat was absorbed. In a and b chromaticity, which is the color attribute that ignores brightness, no special relationship was identified. (2) Considering that the cooling performance effect is bigger in summer than winter, due to heat reflection, the white water proofing sheet is more effective in building energy savings than the green water proofing sheet that is currently used the most. (3) The water proofing sheet's color has an impact more on cooling performance than the color of the background side of a structure on which water proofing sheet is installed. The experiment object of gray, of which background side is similar to cement mortar, was lower by $5.7^{\circ}C$ than the white background side.

태양열 차단 도료의 차열 메카니즘에 따른 강판재의 온도저감 및 반사스펙트럼 분석 (Analysis of Temperature Reduction and Reflection Spectrum of Steel Plate according to Differential Thermal Mechanism of Solar Heat Paint)

  • In Infrared rays, which are 50% of sunlight, act as heat rays to heat buildings. Solar heat paint is widely used to protect buildings from sunlight. Solar heat coatings are used to block buildings form sunlight. Solar heat paints are classified as heat-reflective paints and heat-insulating paints according to the differential thermal mechanism. In this study, we study the thermal differential mechanism by analyzing the temperature change of the coated steel plate and the solar reflection spectrum on the surface. In this experiment, exposed steel plate, heat-reflective coated steel plate, heat-insulating coated steel plate, and general paint coated steel plate were used. As a result, when the infrared rays of 780nm ~ 1400nm were irradiated, the heat reflective paint had a temperature lower by 10 degrees than other paints. Analysis of the reflection spectrum of the paint shows that the heat paint is lower in heat than other paints because it has higher reflectance of light and absorbs much of the infrared rays.

  • This study practically investigated the effects of the newly developed isolation-heat paints applied into the buildings and the roads in Japan. After 1970 since the gravitation of population toward the cities has got more deeply involved due to the development of industries, the increased paved roads and the heats come out from the industrial chimneys cause the heat island effect. The dark colored paints on the roads and the stagnations of air blocked by large buildings turned out to be also the main reasons for the heat island effect. Therefore, in order to cool down the heats accumulated in buildings and roads, the developed isolation-heat paints applied into several different regions and the decreased temperatures and heats were accurately measured and reported.

나노구조 변화에 의한 Fe2O3/TiO2 복합재료를 충전한 Poly Acrylate 도료의 열차단 특성 (Heat Shield Property of Nanostructural-regulated Fe2O3/TiO2 Composites Filled with Polyacrylate Paint)

  • 본 연구에서는 침전과 수열처리에 의해 나노입방체와 나노막대구조를 갖는 Fe2O3 나노입자를 합성하였다. Fe2O3 나노 입자 표면에 TiO2가 20 nm 두께로 코팅된 Fe2O3/TiO2 core-shell (CS) 복합재료를 합성하였다. Fe2O3/TiO2 CS를 화학적 에칭과 열처리에 의해 Fe2O3/TiO2 CS에서 Fe2O3/TiO2 yolk-shell (YS) 형태의 복합재료를 제조하였다. FE-SEM, HR-TEM, XRD 분석을 통하여 Fe2O3와 Fe2O3/TiO2 CS 및 Fe2O3/TiO2 YS 안료의 물리적 특성을 측정하였다. 안료를 poly acrylate (PA) 수지에 혼합한 도료들의 일사반사율과 색상변화는 UV-Vis-NIR 분석으로 차열 온도는 실험실에서 제작한 차열 온도 측정기를 통해 측정하였다. Fe2O3/TiO2 YS 적색 안료를 사용한 PA 도료는 우수한 근적외선 반사율을 보였으며, Fe2O3 안료를 사용한 도료에 비해 차열 온도가 13 ℃ 감소하였다.

  • $Fe_2O_3$ coated plate mica($Fe_2O_3$/mica) for infrared reflectance red pigment was prepared under hydrothermal treatment. $Fe_2O_3$ was perfectly coated on mica via the difference of surface charge between $Fe_2O_3$ and mica particles at pH 3. $Fe_2O_3$/mica was then calcined at $800^{\circ}C$ to stabilize the coated layer on mica. The infrared(IR) reflectance pigments were characterized by X-ray diffraction, FE-SEM, zeta potential, and a UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer. In particular, the CIE color coordinate and IR reflectance properties of $Fe_2O_3$/mica pigments were investigated in relation to the thickness variation of the $Fe_2O_3$ layer coated on mica of various lateral sizes. The isolation-heat red paints containing the pigments were prepared and optimized with a thinner, settling agent, and dispersant. Then, the films were made. The thermal property of isolation-heat on these films was observed through the relationship of the IR reflectance value, which was based on the variation of the $Fe_2O_3$ layer's thickness coated on mica and mica's lateral size as IR reflectance pigment. With an increase in IR reflectance on these films, the thermal property of isolation-heat was effectively enhanced.

이산화 티타늄/마이카 복합 재료의 적외선 광반사 특성 (Synthesis and Infrared Light Reflecting Characteristics of TiO2/Mica Hybrid Composites)

  • 본 연구에서는 $TiO_2$/마이카 혼성 복합 재료의 합성과 적외선 반사 특성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 마이카 입자의 존재 하에 아세트산 수용액에서 titanium isopropoxide의 가수 분해 반응과 축합 반응에 의해 $TiO_2$/마이카 복합 재료를 합성하였다. $TiO_2$/마이카 복합 재료의 열처리($600{\sim}1000^{\circ}C$, 1~3 h)에 의해 마이카 표면에 형성된 비결정성 상의 $TiO_2$은 anatase 상을 거쳐 결정성 rutile 상으로 전환되었으며 열처리 조건에 의해 결정의 크기가 제어되었다. FE-SEM 분석, ED-XRF 분석, XRPD 분석을 통하여 마이카와 $TiO_2$/마이카 복합 재료의 물리화학적 특성을 규명하였다. 확산 반사-근적외선 분광 분석을 통하여 측정한 $TiO_2$/마이카 혼성 복합 재료의 근적외선 범위(780~2,500 nm)에서의 일사 반사율은 88.6%로, 순수한 소성 마이카의 86.6%보다 다소 높았다. 따라서 $TiO_2$/마이카 혼성 복합 재료는 높은 광반사율을 나타내는 차열 도료의 안료로 사용할 수 있을 것이다.
