  • Autobike is insufficient of car navigation informations and high of accident dangerousness comparing to car. So if a system providing autobike driver's driving information and e-call function is developed using smart helmet consisting of collision perception sensor, rear camera, bluetooth communication module, MCU and HUD, It is very useful and can decrease of person's damage and handle expeditious traffic accident during autobike accident. In this paper, when this, "Providing system of autobike driver's information and e-call function", software is developed, a proper analysis and design method for practical affairs try to be presented due to showing software development analysis method, architecture of hardware block-diagram, flowchart and UI design.

  • A windshield wiper system plays a key part in assurance of driver's safety at rainfall. However, because quantity of rain and snow vary irregularly according to time and velocity of automotive, a driver changes speed and operation period of a wiper from time to time in order to secure enough visual field in the traditional windshield wiper system. Because a manual operation of windshield wiper distracts driver's sensitivity and causes inadvertent driving, this is becoming direct cause of traffic accident. Therefore, this paper presents the basic architecture of vision-based smart windshield wiper system and the rain sensing algorithm that regulate speed and operation period of windshield wiper automatically according to quantity of rain or snow. Also, this paper introduces the fuzzy wiper control algorithm based on human's expertise, and evaluates performance of suggested algorithm in simulator model. In especial, the vision sensor can measure wide area relatively than the optical rain sensor. hence, this grasp rainfall state more exactly in case disturbance occurs.

  • Recently unstable weather condition has been going on then the damage by heavy rains, typhoons and stream flooding has been increasing continuously. In particular, the urban damage by flooding of rivers or roads has been occurred frequently. It could block all the transportation facilities within cities for restricting traffic. In this study, we suggest the method of utilization of the information about event and accident on roads through the real-time traffic information to cope with dangerous situation of roads.

  • As research on security systems using IoT (Internet of Things) devices increases, the need for research to track the location of specific objects is increasing. The goal is to detect the movement of objects in real-time and to predict the radius of movement in short time. Many studies have been done to clearly recognize and detect moving objects. However, it does not require the sharing of information between cameras that recognize objects. In this paper, using the device information of the camera and the video information taken from the camera, the movement radius of the object is predicted and information is shared about the camera within the radius to provide the movement path of the object.

  • Recently, the problem of global warming has issued seriously, so Green IT(Information Technology) using RFID/USN is concerned in order to solve environmental problems. In this paper, we implemented that public area like an underground parking lot could reduce unnecessary energy consumption used by lighting control system based on Ubiquitous Sensor Networks. The lighting control system for underground parking lot is comprised of intersection nodes for watching cars enter and leave, and light node for controlling light. It applies the routing protocol based on hierarchical cluster, hierarchical addressing method, and probability filtering method for the specific place like an underground parking lot. The result after experiments shows that the lighting control system could decrease electrical energy consumption to around 61.7%.

위성항법기반 항법장비의 병렬 구성을 활용한 안전성 향상

  • GPS(Global Positioning System)로 대표되는 위성항법시스템(GNSS: Global Navigation Satel lite System)은 우주공간의 위성을 이용하여 사용자에게 위치와 함께 시각 정보를 제공해 준다. 위성항법시스템은 항법 분야 뿐 아니라 측량, 측지를 비롯하여 정밀 시각동기 및 지각변동의 측정까지 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 항법분야에 있어서 위성항법시스템의 오차를 제거한 정밀한 위치 정보를 이용하여 이동체에 활용하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 위성항법을 움직이는 이동체에 적용할 경우 주변 환경에 따라 위성항법 신호의 오차가 증가하여 급격한 위치 오차를 유발하므로 추가적인 센서 사용을 통하여 안전성을 향상시킬 필요가 있다. 이 논문에서는 위성항법 기반의 위치정보와 이동체에 부착되어 있는 센서 정보를 병렬적으로 사용하는 주행시스템을 구성하고 주행 시험을 수행하였다. 이동체에 부착되어 있는 센서 정보를 이용한 주행시스템의 경우 이동 거리를 측정할 수 있는 엔코더와 조향각을 측정할 수 있는 포텐셔미터 그리고 차량 모델을 이용하여 구성하였다. 시험 결과 위성항법기반의 위치 정보와 이동체의 센서 정보를 이용한 위치 오차의 차이는 0.4m 이내로 위성항법 신호에 급격한 오차가 들어오는 경우 이동체의 센서 정보를 이용하여 감지할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to design the metal object detection system for drive inside protection. To do this, we propose the algorithm for designing the color filter that can detect the metal object using fuzzy theory and the algorithm for detecting area of the driver's face using fuzzy skin color filter. Also, by using the proposed algorithm, we propose the algorithm for detecting the metallic object candidate regions. And, the metallic object color filter is then applied to find the candidate regions. Finally, we show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method through some experiments.

  • The abnormally high temperature of the train part is related to train accidents and monitoring is important for safe operation of trains. In case of KTX an abnormality detecting device that detects the abnormality of the axle and scans the urban railway is installed on the railroad and when there is an abnormal heat generation, a system for automatically informing the control center is installed. The IR sensors module used in this system are depend on quick response. we have conducted a study on the fast response test method through the production of experimental equipments.

  • This paper presents the monitoring method of machining error and quality check to improve the productivity of boring manufacturing process. Machining error usually appears as the offset of spatial location of actual cutting path compared to ideal cutting path. In order to monitor an error of workpiece, multiple factors affecting quality of boring, such as distortion of workpiece, clamping error, radial rotation error of the spindle and motion error of machine tools, were took into account. To verify the productive quality, we propose the quality check system. The system based on IT convergence analyzes the process error rate and saves the analyzed data in memory. Also, these play important roles in detecting an inferior production goods and can decrease the production cost and loss of bearing.

  • In this paper, we designed a 24.4GHz 2-channel TX and 4-channel RX patch array antenna mounted on a short-range vehicle radar system to simultaneously measure the range and speed of a single object within a single measurement cycle. The antenna was designed and fabricated using Rogers' RO4350B(εr=3.48, 0.5T) board. Through measurement, it was confirmed that the design specifications of antenna gain (> 10dBi or more) and radiation pattern (Elevation HPBW > 10deg.) were satisfied at 24.4 GHz frequency.
