This study intended to change the environment of a classroom in the existing child care center by applying the home environmental characteristics. The progress of environmental improvement for this study was conducted throughout the three stages. First, analyze the problems of existing child care center, which reflect the environmental characteristics and user opinions of the environment. Second, based on the analysis of the problems of the existing classroom, the classroom is improved by applying the environmental characteristics of the home. Third, compare the effect of improving the environmental characteristics of the home. The results of the study are as follows. First, the classroom was surveyed with a long rectangular space structure and was examined as a wide area when compared with the legal standards of $4.32m^2$ per child. Second, the emphasis is to complement the defects of the spatial structure and seek changes to the comfort environment, such as the proper stimuli and alterations to the atmosphere. Third, the effectiveness of the environmental improvement was assessed by comparing the results before and after the improvement of the environment. In terms of child environmental demands, movement and movement have increased. integrated configurations of the activity areas showed increased functionality, and overall, it was evaluated as a whole in terms of the atmosphere and the placeness.

우리 학회에서는 최근에 폐탄광지 복구에 관한 관심이 고조되고 있으며, 특히 금년내 적당한 시기에, 되도록 빠른 시일 안에 폐탄광지 복구에 관한 국제 심포지엄을 개최할 계획을 가지고 있으나, 아직 학회 설립이후 이 분야에 관한 연구활동이 다소 일천하므로 기초자료준비가 미진한 상태에 있는 현실이다. 이러한 현실적인 상황하에서 필자는 학회의 회장으로서 학회와 회원들의 연구활동지원을 위한 기초적인 자료라도 수집 제공해야 되겠다는 취지를 가지고 이런 저런 일을 진행하고 있다. 이와 같은 학회활동의 하나로 우선 지난 5월 15일부터 20일까지 중국 북경시 신대도(新大都)호텔에서 중국토지학회(中國土地學會) 중국토지부간학회(中國土地復墾學會) 주최로 개최된 "북경 국제토지부간학술연토회(北京 國際土地復墾學術硏討會)" 심포지엄(Beijing International Symposium on Land Reclamation ISLR 2000 - Mine Land Reclamation and Ecological Restoration for 21st Century)에 참석하여 국제적인 상황을 파악할 수 있도록 한 바 있다. 또한 한국의 "폐탄광지역의 산림훼손지 복구 및 폐석유실 방지대책에 관한 고찰" 원고를 우리 학회지에 투고 게재하여 우리 나라의 폐탄광지 복구에 대한 현황을 개략적으로 이해할 수 있도록 하고저 한다. 이와 같은 일을 하다보니, 우리 학회에서도 석탄광산에 관한 전문용어를 파악해야 되겠다는 필요성에 따라서 우선 필자가 가지고 있는 제반 용어자료(참고문헌 제시)를 종합적으로 정리하여 이 용어집을 발표하고자 한다. 이 "소고(小考)" 용어집은 시기적으로 우리 학회 회원들의 필요성에 의해서 편집된 "초고(草稿)" 수준이며, 약 860 용어가 영문 국문(ABC순)/국문 영문(ㄱㄴㄷ순)으로 편집되었다. 이 용어집은 장차 우리 학회에서 용어제정의 기회가 있을 때에는 귀중한 표준 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 이 용어집은 우리 학회 제정 표준용어집이 아니라 단순히 필자의 연구자료(안)로 보아야 할 것이다.

본 연구에서는 집이나 사무실과 같은 일상 공간에서 발생할 수 있는 연간의 일상생활행위 (ADL: Activities of Daily Living) 들을 인지하는 분산 모델을 제시한다. 사용자의 환경 정보, 위치 정보 및 행위 정보를 간단한 센서들이 부착된 가정용 기기들과 가구, 식기들을 통해 무선 센서 네트워크를 통해 수집하며 분석한다. 하지만 이와 같은 다양한 기기의 활용과 충분히 분석되어지지 않은 데이터들은 본 논문에서 제시하는 일상 환경에서 고차원의 ADL 모델을 구축하기 어렵게 한다. 그러나 ADL들이 생성하는 센서 데이터들과 센서 데이터들의 순서들은 어떤 행위가, 이루어지고 있는지 인지할 수 있도록 도와준다. 따라서 이 센서 데이터들의 순서를 특정 행위 패턴을 분석하는 데 활용하고, 이를 통해 분산 선형 시간 추론 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 센서 네트워크와 같은 소규모 시스템에서 행위를 인지하는 데 적절하다.

This research deals with the residential environment for the elderly and describes characteristics to give a positive effect on elderly's health and quality of life in Sweden. Five elderly care home recommended by a municipality staff in Stockholm are surveyed on $01\~03$ October 2003. The results of this study are as follows: 1) homelike atmosphere is regarded as a basic design concept and is applied to size, materials, scale, color, and furniture of elderly housing in Sweden, 2) regarding of the exterior features, it is similar to the ordinary house rather than institution building, 3) arrangement of spaces is planned for several small groups consisting of 6-8 residents, 4) open-space planning on public kitchen and dinning room allows residents to feel comfortable when they can hear a sound and smell a meal, 5) private flat is to provide amenities for sleeping, rest, storage, social interaction, meals, hygiene and other every activities

이 논문에서는 가상현실로 잘 알려진 인간과 컴퓨터 상호 작용에서의 3차원 음장 재생을 위한 요소 기술을 논하였다. 이 연구의 목적은 가상 공간과 같은 가상 환경을 갖는 선박 조종 시뮬레이터의 구현 가능성을 검토하는데 있다. 이 연구에서는 머리 전달 함수(HRTF)를 이용한 3차원 음장 재생에서의 몇가지 핵심 기술을 고찰하고, 필터 탭수를 줄이기 위한 방법과 3차원 음장에서의 불연속 영역을 보간하기 위한 방법을 기술하였다.

Ubiquitous Computing 시대가 도래 하면서 집이나 빌딩 같은 실내 환경에서도 Ubiquitous Computing을 도입하려는 여러 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 Smart Home은 집 안에 여러 종류의 센서를 설치하여 센서로부터 얻는 정보를 바탕으로 사용자에게 다양한 서비스를 제공한다. 이와 같은 Smart Home을 구현하기 위해서는 사용자나 물체의 위치 정보가 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 Smart Home에서 위치 정보를 지원하기 위해 초음파와 IEEE 802.15.4 기반의 센서 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템에서는 초음파를 사용함으로써 생기는 문제와 센서의 효율적인 에너지 관리를 위해 IEEE 802.15.4를 적용하였다. 이 시스템은 초음파 송신부를 가지고 있는 S-node 와 수신부를 가지고 있는 R-node 로 구성되어 있으며 본문에서 각각의 구조와 알고리즘에 대해 기술할 것이다.

In this study, the sanitization effects of ozone and UV against pathogens and ticks were studied. The results indicate that in environments mimicking that of households, the number of pathogens was reduced by $99.0\%$ and $99.0\%$ by ozone and UV light, respectively. In addition, virus counts were also reduced by $100\%$. Optimization of experimental parameters showed that, under appropriate application, ticks are also eradicated by ozone and UV light. The ticks were divided into two groups, with the first group being treated with ozone only and the latter with ozone and UV light. The results from these experiments showed that, although ozone alone reduces the vitality of the ticks, the survival rate of the ticks was significantly more reduced when the ticks were exposed simultaneously to ozone and UV.

녹용이 동물체에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위한 일환으로 녹용 침출액을 집토끼에 주사한 후 여기에서 여섯개의 조직(골격근, 간, 신장, 부신, 비장, 심장근)을 선택 적출하여 disc-gel electrophoresis로 수용성 단백 분획상을 비교 하여 보았다. 대조군과 5일간 주사한 군에서 간, 신장, 부신, 비장에서는 서로 동일한 영동분획상이 나타났으나 골격근과 심장근에서는 대조군보다 실험군(5일간과 15일간 녹용침출액을 주사한 군)의 영동대에서 하나의 영동대가 더 나타났다. 한편 15일간 주사한 실험군과 5일간 주사한 실험군 사이에서는 단백분 획상의 차이점이 없음을 알았다. 이와 같은 변화는 녹용의 어떤 특수성분이 주로 근육형 조직에서만 백질을 합성하는 기작에 영향을 끼친 것이 아닌가 사려된다.

최근 원격 제어 시스템은 언제 어디서나 인터넷에 연결되어 있으면 회사나 학교 등 원격지에 위치한 컴퓨터에 접속하여 작업을 수행할 수 있게 해준다. 원격지의 컴퓨터를 어디서나 사용할 수 있게끔 해주기 때문에 재택 근무 등을 이유로 집과 학교와 같은 장소에서 동일한 컴퓨팅 환경을 구성해야 하는 불편함을 없애준다. 그러나 최근 다양한 네트워크 공격과 해킹의 시도로 인해서 회사나 학교에서는 방화벽을 사용하여 외부로부터의 허용 되지 않은 패킷을 차단하기 때문에 이러한 이점을 지닌 원격제어 시스템을 사용하지 못하는 경우가 많다. 이에 외부에서 방화벽 내의 시스템을 접근할 수 있도록 역방향 원격제어 방법을 제안하고 오픈소스인 VNC를 기반으로 원격제어 시스템을 개발하였다.
