The purpose of this study is a descriptive research to investigate the difference between career preparation behavior and major satisfaction level according to whether or not nursing students have taken career courses for nursing students to mke rational career choices. The participants were 221 nursing students. Data collection was conducted from December 1 to 15, 2019. The data was analysis with frequency and percentage, 𝛘²-test, mean and standard deviation and ANCOVA by using SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. The results were of this study showed that carrier preparation behavior(F=438.08, p<.001), Major Satisfaction(F=461.45, p<.001) have been confirmed significant difference depend on attending to college career course therefore, it is suggested to use career courses as a strategy to help nursing students make successful career decisions.

Recently policies and studies on career development education for college students have attracted policy makers' and scholars' attention. However, no specific policy is there for college student-athletes in Korea. There are several reasons why such career education do not exist. Among those, the biggest reason seems to be the fact that there is no specific career education contents for the population of college student-athletes. The purposes of the study are to identity the needs of career education contents for college student-athletes and to come up with educational contents for 16-week one-hour credit class. The data for the study were generated from six experts in college sport, sport psychology, and career education. The experts participated three meetings from which they generated the structure of the career education classes, the contents of the classes and 16-week class curriculum.

The purpose of this study was to verify the educational effects of career guidance classes, which are now included in regular course offerings by universities. To this end, the self-efficacy of college students regarding career decisions and their degree of career maturity was measured as effect variables. The subjects of the study included 33 sophomores who took 15 weeks of career guidance classes provided by four-year universities. Pretest-posttest design and the paired t-test were conducted for verifying the differences before and after taking career guidance courses. According to the results of the analysis, first, university students' self-efficacy in career decision-making was higher after taking the career guidance courses, indicating a statistically significant difference. Second, the t-value for the difference before and after taking the career guidance courses was indicating that there was a slight statistically significant improvement. These results are meaningful in that they proved that career guidance courses in higher education had the educational effects of improving self-efficacy in career path decisions and the career maturity of college students.

The purpose of this study was focused on finding out the effect of "Learning Strategies and Career Development" classes for first year student. To this end, I developed the learning portfolio based instructional method, textbook, learning portfolio, teaching guidebook and teaching materials. For the study, I conducted literature reviews, analysis of domestic and international best practices, expert advices and survey researches. This study implemented on 3,200 freshman and 72 professors of A university that is located at Gyungbuk. The results of applying research findings show that learning portfolio based instruction in "Learning Strategies and Career Development" classes is useful to improve first year students' competency of learning strategies and career search. And instructors can use the learning portfolio, teaching guidebook and teaching materials, therefore they are satisfied with the materials.

최근 대학들은 학부제 시행에 따른 학생들의 교과목선택권이 확대됨으로써 수강신청시 학사진도를 강화해야 할 필요성이 대두되고 있으며, 학생들은 자신의 진로에 맞는 좀 더 바람직한 교과목을 선택하고 이수하는데 체계적인 도움을 필요로 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학생들이 자신의 목표\ulcorner진로에 맞는 교과과정을 원활히 이수할 수 있도록 도움을 주고자 교과목선정에 대한 상담을 지원하는 지식기반 학사지원시스템을 개발하여 보고자 한다. 개발될 학사지원시스템은 지도교수의 시간부담을 줄이고, 학생들에게는 언제든지 상담을 받을 수 있도록 함으로서 수강신청시 교과목 선정을 보다 효과적으로 지원할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the improvement plan of Korea Network for Occupations and Workers(KNOW) in terms of the information quality and usefulness for undergraduate students.'Homework of occupational information exploration'as research instrument was assigned to the engineering students taking career courses at KoreaTech in Chungnam province, Korea. Data was collected from two-hundred sixty six college students. The main results were as follows: The percentage of awareness of KNOW was very low(7.5%), but the mean of preference(73.5) and usefulness of career readiness(70.6) of KNOW were likely to be high. The information quality of KNOW was analysed in terms of both menu bar and evaluative components. In menu bar, the highest mean of information quality was'wage, job satisfaction, and job outlook'menu bar(71.7). On the other hand'task information on the job'had the lowest mean. In evaluative component, the highest mean of information quality was understandability(73.4), whereas the completeness was at the bottom(63.7). These results implied that the KNOW has the usefulness for engineering students to explore the occupational information and to make ready for career. Nevertheless, it is needed to publicize KNOW and to redeem menu bar and contents for the improvement of this online system.

The free semester system, introduced on a trial basis in 2013, has been fully implemented in all middle schools since 2016. The free semester system for middle school students is divided into subject activities and free semester activities with the purpose of students' dream and career exploration. While the activities of various vocational groups linked to subjects during the free semester are discussed, studies on the industrial security career education in middle schools are hard to find. In addition, the career sites that provide diverse information on career path for teachers, students and parents with support from the Ministry of Education have not established any program regarding industrial security. This study aims to look at the status of career education by the analysis of keywords for industrial security in the career experience network currently operated by the Ministry of Education and in-depth interview with career education teachers, students and parents, and industrial security experts. Based on such analysis, this study attempts to figure out a comprehensive understanding of the free semester system and to explore strategies for promoting industrial security education. The results of this study found that the activation plan for industrial security education requires the industry security education through career network, development of industrial security education program, training and placement of professional industrial security lecturer, and establishment of support systems for experience in industrial security.

This study aims to examine what influence a career exploration group counselling program has on career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity of female college students. As a result of the study, it was discovered that the career exploration group counselling program had statistically significant influence on goal choice, job information and future plan which are sub-variables of career decision-making self-efficacy while it had no significant influence on problem solving. Also the program had a statistically significant influence on decision, independency, and involvement which are sub-variables of career maturity while it had no significant influence on compromise. Such results show that the career exploration group counselling program had a significant influence on career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity of the subjects. Therefore, it is suggested that the career exploration group counselling program should be properly developed and provided so that students can choose career which fit for their aptitude and ability. Further, courses for career exploration group counselling program should be provided at universities to help them with career.

This study aims to consider the subject completion system based on high school credit system in State of California. To achieve research aims, this study analyzed a characteristics of curriculum of credit system in US, subject completion system based on high school credit system in State of California. Based on analysis results, this study search implications for implementing high school credit system in korea. In this study, we examined the satisfaction level of J university's compulsory liberal arts subject with quantitative research. The results quantitative research are as follows. First, men are more interested in creative thinking, college life guidance and career path design than girls. Second, the level of satisfaction with the required liberal arts subject by grade was found to be without a statistical significant difference. Third, the satisfaction level of each line of learning was shown in the order of natural engineering, health and welfare, physical fitness, and humanities. The satisfaction level of the lines of learning was found to vary. Fourth, The satisfaction level of each campus was found to vary. The results of this study could be used as basic data to improve the college liberal arts curriculum, especially the compulsory liberal arts curriculum.
