  • Modern wind turbines have been mainly erected in region where earthquake are rare or normally weak, especially Korea was thought as safety zone from earthquake. But recently, the earthquake occurs more and more frequently. So, the wind turbine design is required the structural and functional stability under the earthquake. The earthquake can influence normal operation, even if a weak earthquake. There are two ways to review the design under earthquake using Computer Applied Engineering (CAE). One is the Response Spectrum Analysis (RSA) the other is Time History Analysis (THA). In this research, dynamic response on time is obtained under the earthquake by taking into account ground accelerogram consistent with the relevant standards applied to the turbine foundation.

감각형 객체를 이용한 이음매 없는 2D/3D 상호작용 시스템 (Seamless 2D/3D Interaction System using a Tangible Object)

  • 본 논문에서는 감각형 객체(Tangible Object)를 이용한 테이블에서의 2D/3D 상호작용 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 기존의 ARTable[1]에 직육면체 형태의 감각형 객체와 카메라가 장착된 이동형 모니터를 추가하여 제작되었다. 감각형 객체는 모든 면에 ARToolkit[3]에서 쓰이는 마커가 부착되어 있으며, 내부에는 진동자와 불루투스 통신 모듈이 삽입되어 있다. 또한 카메라가 달린 모니터는 모니터 암에 연결되어 사용자가 이동하며 ARTable 상판을 관측할 수 있도록 부착되어 있다. 이 시스템를 이용하여 사용자는 디스플레이형 테이블인 ARTable 위에서 가상공간을 네비게이션(2D 상호작용)할 때 정확한 길을 찾아가기 위한 도움을 받을 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 증강현실 환경에서 가상객체와 3D 상호작용을 할 수 있다. 또한 진동 모듈과 이를 제어하기 위한 블루투스 모듈이 내장 되어있어, 특정한 이벤트 발생시 진동자를 이용하여 사용자에게 촉각 감응 효과를 줄 수 있다. 제안된 시스템은 교육, 엔터테이먼트, 등 다양한 분야에서 사용될 수 있다.

  • The aerodynamically excited vibration and natural frequency of rotating disks are analytically studied in this paper. The theoretical analysis uses a fluid-structure model where the aerodynamic effects are represented in terms of elastic, lift and drag forces. The explicit expressions on natural frequencies of the air coupled disk are obtained as functions of the aerodynamic coefficients. for the three cases where the disk rotates in three different cases (in vacuum, in open air without enclosure, and close to rigid wall). The theoretical results give that the natural frequencies of rotating disks in air are smaller than those in vacuum, because the effect of the added fluid mass decreases the frequencies. This paper also proposes an analytical method to predict the flutter speed of a rotating disk.

  • Experimental studies on the aerodynamic coupling effect on natural frequencies, critical speed and flutter instability of rotating disks are investigated in this paper. The theoretical analysis uses a fluid-structure model where the aerodynamic effects are represented in terms of elastic, lift and damping and stiffness components. The experiments performed using a vacuum chamber and ASMO/DVD disks rotating in vacuum, open and enclosure in several gaps with stationary wall give three main results. One is that the aerodynamic effect by the surrounding air reduces the natural frequencies and critical speeds of the vibration modes. The second is that natural frequency of disks rotating in open air is larger than that in enclosure. Finally, it is shown that the disk vibration is reduced as the gap between the disk and the rigid wall decreases.

  • Vibration analysis of rotating blade is the main purpose of present study. In this work, general formulation is proposed to analyze rotating shell type structures including the centrifugal force, Coriolis acceleration and initial twist. Futhermore, simplified equations are derived for the case of an open circular cylindrical shell. Based on the concept of degenerated shell element with the Reissner-Mindlin's assumptions, the finite element method is adopted for solving the governing equations. (onitted)

방음차륜의 소음진동 저감효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Low Noise Wheel for the Noise and Vibration Reduction)

  • Wheel /rail interaction has been known as a major source of railway noise. In this paper, a low noise wheel structure is developed and its effect on noise reduction is investigated. The developed low noise wheel employees a rubber material inserted into a steel rim or mounted on the wheel surface. Since the low noise wheel has low stiffness and high damping ratio compared to a solid wheel, the measurement results show that it reduces the rolling and squeal noise. It turns out that the proposed wheel could reduce interior noise level by 4∼5dB(A) and vehicle vibration level by 7∼10 dB. Although the proposed structure seems to be promising in noise reduction of railway vehicles, the low noise wheel is to be verified in endurance and cost effect.

와전류 감쇠기를 이용한 진동 억제 (Vibration Suppression Using Eddy Current Damper)

  • This paper is concerned with the eddy current damper which can be used to enhance the damping of the host structure. The operating principle of the eddy current damper is first explained in detail. The dynamic interaction between the magnets and the copper plate produces eddy current thus resulting in the damping force. By attaching the eddy current damper to the host structure, the damping of the total structure can be increased so that vibrations can be suppressed. The advantage of the eddy current damper is that it doesn't require any electronic devices and power supply The effect of the eddy current damper on the global dynamic characteristics of the structure is investigated by considering the cantilever with the eddy current damper. Experimental results show that the eddy current damper is an effective device for vibration suppression.

다차원 스펙트럼 해석법을 이용한 차실내 운전자석 진동전달경로 규명에 관한 연구 (A Study on Vibration Transfer Path Identification of Vehicle Driver's Position by Multi-dimensional Spectral Analysis)

  • In this study, transfer path identification and output estimation are simulated by multi-dimension spectral analysis method (MDSA). Multi -input/single-output system give expression the vehicle suspension which each inputs are correlated reciprocally. In case of correlating with inputs, the system needs separating the each input signal by MDSA. Main simulations are about finding effective input by coherent output spectrum and selecting optimal input's number by multiple coherence function. Also, by shielding transfer path of each input, transfer path characteristic is identified in terms of overall integrated contribution level.
