Influence of Delay Time and Priming Location on the Blast-Induced Ground Vibration (발파공 사이의 지연시차와 기폭위치가 지반진동에 미치는 영향)

  • In order to identify the characteristics of the propagation depending on delay time (20, 25 ms) and priming location (top priming, middle priming, bottom priming), test blasts were carried out a total of 4 times using different spacing, burden, drilling length, charge per delay and was derived the formula to predict blast vibration. This study investigated the characteristics of vibration by analysis of the nomogram and prediction of Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) from delay time and priming location by the formula to predict ground vibration. And it analyzed the trends of vibration increase by standards charge 0.5, 1.6, 5, 15 kg. Standards charge is "Blasting design and construction guidelines to road construction" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Depending on the charge in favor of vibration control method is proposed. Thus, when the design was to be used as a variable.

  • Recently, noise map is used widely by synthetic estimation method for noise reduction. For correct manufacture of noise map, selection of suitable noise prediction method is important. This study compares XPS31-133 with CRTN, RLS90 which are widely used by foreign commercial noise maps.

  • This Study, as part of a study on the application plan of overseas noise prediction models suitable for making domestic noise maps, analyzed the correlation between the differences in predicted noise levels by individual noise prediction model and surveyed data on General roads and Expressways. Separation distances of 5m and 10m, respectively were set from the ends of the general roads and the expressways at the points of measurements and to check the distribution patterns of sound power levels, the levels were measured at the heights of 1.5m and 3m, respectively. The latest revised versions of the five models (CRTN, RLS90, NMPB, Nord2000, ASJ2008) suggested in The Method of making Noise Maps were used as prediction models, and predicted noise levels were calculated by using commercial software SoundPLAN (Ver 7.1).

  • In case of estimating the shocking vibration during the blasting demolitions, the weight and falling height of the structure, that is a potential energy, had been considered. But, this study presented a new equation which used the impulse concerning a falling weight instead of potential energy as a method of predicting the shock vibration. In this experiment, the data of the impulse were compared with the data of the potential energy by performing the free-fall, and all data were comparatively analyzed by the regression analysis method. Also, the method of the superposition theory, which is calculated by the diminution ratio according to distance, the free-fall difference according to height, and the time giving the shock to the ground according to the breakdown pattern, was compared with the previous vibration data occurring from the blasting demolitions in the same conditions. As a result, this study suggests that the impulse and the method of superposition theory be applied as a method of predicting the shocking vibration. Therefore, these results could be expected to estimate the shocking vibration more accurately than the previous method.

  • This paper is the analysis of the relationship between RQD and decay constant, blasting vi bration constant of cube root scaling and square root scaling, through experimental blast ins test in subway construction for excavation of shaft hole by bottom blasting. The magnitude of particle velocity is largely effected by the distance from blasting source, the maximum charge per delay and the properties of ground. In order to verify the effects of ground properties on blast-induced vibration, the relation-ship between magnitude of blasting vibration and Rock Quality Disignation which stands for joint property was studied. The results of test are verified that blasting vibration constant "K" and the absolute value("n") of decay constant relatively increse as RQD increased. According to the result, it can be predict the particle velocity by the blast -induced vibration in bottom blasting pattern.om blasting pattern.

  • NMPB 2008을 포함한 일부 소음 예측식에서는 기상학적 요소를 고려할 수 있다. 특히 NMPB 2008을 이용하여 소음을 예측할 경우에는 기상학적인 요소의 고려는 필수적이다. 하지만, 우리나라의 실제 기상 상황을 반영할 수 있는 방법이 없는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 기상학적 요소를 적용하기 위해서 하향 굴절 발생 빈도를 적용하여 소음도를 비교하였다. 기상학적 요소의 하향 굴절 발생 빈도의 증가에 따라 소음도가 증가하는 것을 확인하였고, 1kHz 이상의 주파수에서 거리에 따른 소음도의 차이에 상대적으로 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 기상학적 요소의 적용은 예측 소음도의 정확도를 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.

A Study for Lifespan Prediction of Expansion by Temperature Status (온도상태에 따른 신축관 이음의 수명예측에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, an expansion joint that is susceptible to waterhammer was tested for its vibration durability. The operation data for the hydraulic actuator was the expansion length of the expansion joint when the waterhammer occurred. In the case of the vibration durability test, the internal temperature status of the expansion joint was assumed to be a stress factor and a lifespan prediction model was assumed to follow the Arrhenius model. A test was carried out by increasing the internal temperature status at $30^{\circ}C$, $50^{\circ}C$, and $65^{\circ}C$. By a linear transformation of the lifespan data for each temperature, a constant value and activation energy coefficient was induced for the Arrhenius equation and verified by comparing the value of a lifetime prediction model with the experimental value at $85^{\circ}C$. The failure modes of the ongoing or finished test were leakage, bellows separation, and internal deformation. In the future, a composite lifespan prediction model, including two more stress factors, will be developed.

  • 발파진동에 영향을 미치는 여러 매개변수들 중에서 현재 발파진동 예상식을 도출하기 위해 장약량과 거리를 매개변수로 하여 발파진동을 예측하고 있다. 여기에 사용되는 장약랑은 지발당 최대장약량으로, 발파당 장약량과의 관계는 언급하고있지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지발당 최대장약량이 동일한 상태에서 발파공수를 변화시키는 방법으로 발파당 장약량이 변화할 때 발파진동속도의 변화를 비교·분석하였다. 발파공수를 5공에서 10공까지 변화시 켜가며 발파진동을 폭정하고 분석한 결과 지발당 장약량이 동일함에도 불구하고 공수가 증가함에 따라 환산거리 60∼90 구간에서 진동속도가 높게 측정되었다

  • 수중 음향센서로서 최근에 많이 연구되고 있는 광섬유 하이드로폰(fiber optic hydrophone)의 성능을 예측하기 위하여 광섬유의 편광특성(polarization)에 따른 정규화 감도식 (normalized sensitivity)을 유도하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 하이드로폰은 광섬유가 끝단이 막힌 중공 원통형 맨드럴(mandrel)에 감긴 구조이며 음압이 하이드로폰에 작용할 때 응력 관계식을 이용하여 정규화 감도식을 유도하였으며 유도된 감도식을 맨드럴의 내외경비에 따라 특성을 수치해석하였다. 균일한 재질의 광섬유에서 맨드럴의 내외경비의 값이 클수록 그리고 맨드럴의 탄성계수의 값이 작을수록 감도가 증가함을 관찰 하였다.

  • Predictions of vibration induced by subway operation has been studied through comparison between the measurement values and the estimated values which proposed by other scientists to determine the adequacy of each equation. It was found from this study that the Wilson's prediction equation gives the best overall approximation value although the peak frequency band lies somewhat higher than that obtained from measurement.
