A New Parallel Method for Narrowband Active Noise Control (협대역 능동 소음 제어를 위한 새로운 병렬 기법)

  • In many practical active noise control applications, the primary noise contains multiple closely-spaced harmonics. A narrowband ANC system consists of adaptive filters excited by a composite reference signal, which is the set or sum of sinusoids. This paper analyzes and shows that the convergence speeds of the direct form, parallel form, and simplified parallel form narrowband ANC systems are affected by the fundamental frequency and frequency separation between two adjacent sinusoids in the reference signal. This paper also proposes the new simplified parallel form narrowband ANC system whose convergence speed is independent on the frequency of the reference signal. Computer simulations are conducted to verify the analysis presented in the paper and to compare the proposed narrowband ANC system with the conventional narrowband ANC system.

  • We propose a smart human-computer interface replacing conventional mouse interface. The interface is able to control cursor and command action with only hand performing without object. Four finger motions(left click, right click, hold, drag) for command action are enough to express all mouse function. Also we materialize cursor movement control using image processing. The measure what we use for inference is entropy of EMG signal, gaussian modeling and maximum likelihood estimation. In image processing for cursor control, we use color recognition to get the center point of finger tip from marker, and map the point onto cursor. Accuracy of finger movement inference is over 95% and cursor control works naturally without delay. we materialize whole system to check its performance and utility.

  • Recently, due to the high development of the internet, needs for multimedia streams such as digital audio and video is increasing much more. In case of transmitting multimedia streams using the User Datagram Protocol (UDP), it may cause starvation of TCP traffic on the same transmission path, thus resulting in congestion collapse and enormous delay because UDP does not perform TCP-like congestion control. Because of this problem, diverse researches are being conducted on new transmission schemes and protocols intended to efficiently reduce the transmission delay of real-time multimedia streams and perform congestion control. The TCP-friendly congestion control schemes can be classified into the window-based congestion control, which uses the general congestion window management function, and the rate-based congestion control, which dynamically adjusts transmission rate by using TCP modeling equations and the like. In this paper, we suggest the square-root congestion avoidance algorithm with the hybrid TCP-friendly congestion control scheme which the window-based and rate-based congestion controls are dealt with in a combined way. We apply the proposed algorithm to the existing TEAR. We simulate the performance of the proposed TEAR by using NS, and the result shows that it gives better improvement in the stability needed for providing congestion control than the existing TEAR.

Control Flow Reconstruction from Virtualization-Obfuscated Binaries (가상화를 이용하여 난독화된 바이너리의 제어 흐름 재건)

  • Control flow information is useful in the analysis and comparison of programs. Virtualization-obfuscation hides control structures of the original program by transforming machine instructions into bytecode. Direct examination of the resulting binary reveals only the structure of the interpreter. Recovery of the original instructions requires knowledge of the virtual machine architecture, which is randomly generated and hidden. In this paper, we propose a method to reconstruct original control flow using only traces generated from the obfuscated binary. We consider traces as strings and find an automaton that represents the strings. State transitions in the automaton correspond to the control transfers in the original program. We have shown the effectiveness of our method with commercial obfuscators.

Real-time data transmission through congestion control based on optimal AQM in high-speed network environment (고속 네트워크 환경에서 최적AQM기반의 혼잡제어를 통한 실시간 데이터 전송)

  • TCP communication and packet communication require transmission control technology to ensure high quality and high reliability. However, in the case of real-time data transmission, an inefficient transmission problem occurs. In order to overcome this problem and transmit the packet reliability, in general, early congestion control using the buffer level as an index was used. Control of the congestion control point and the cancellation point is delayed because the point at which congestion is controlled is based on the buffer level. Therefore, in this paper, not only the buffer level indicator, but also the ideal buffer level, which determines the packet discard probability, is classified so that the transmission rate and buffer level that measure network congestion are close to the level above the optimal setting. As a result, it was shown that the average buffer level can be directly controlled by maintaining the average buffer level by the ideal buffer level set in the experiment to prove the proposed method.

  • 멀티모달 인터페이스는 인간의 제스처, 시선, 손의 움직임, 행동의 패턴, 음성, 물리적인 위치 등 인간의 자연스러운 행동들에 대한 정보를 해석하고 부호화하는 인지기반 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 제스처와 음성, 터치를 이용한 3D 오브젝트 기반의 멀티모달 인터페이스를 설계, 구현한다. 서비스 도메인은 스마트 홈이며 사용자는 3D 오브젝트 직접조작을 통해 원격으로 가정의 오브젝트들을 모니터링하고 제어할 수 있다. 멀티모달 인터랙션 입출력 과정에서는 여러 개의 모달리티를 병렬적으로 인지하고 처리해야 하기 때문에 입출력 과정에서 각 모달리티의 조합과 부호화 방법, 입출력 형식 등이 문제시된다. 본 연구에서는 모달리티들의 특징과 인간의 인지구조 분석을 바탕으로 제스처, 음성, 터치 모달리티 간의 입력조합방식을 제시하고 멀티모달을 이용한 효율적인 3D Object 인터랙션 프로토타입을 설계한다.

  • 이 논문은 초음파모터를 이용한 직접구동방식의 전완로봇 개발에 관해서 논하였다. 기어 감속 없이 느린 동작하에서 큰 힘을 제공하기 위해 진행파형 초음파모터를 액츄에이터로 사용하였다. 이 시스템에서는 환경과의 상호작용력에 의한 힘 피드백 제어는 사용하지 않고, 위치 정보만을 사용하였다. 크랭크 회전같은 접촉작업과 핑거의 협력작업에 대한 실험을 고찰하였다.

과도현상 데이터를 이용한 영광 3호기 증기발생기 모델 개발

  • 영광 3호기에서 발생한 부하탈락으로 인만 과도현상 때의 운전 데이터를 이용하여 전체의 운전 영역에서 잘 맞는 증기 발생기의 모델을 개발하였다. 모델링 기법으로는 유전자 알고리즘이 사용되었으며, 모델은 물리변수(물리적 의미를 갖는 변수)를 갖는 함수들로 구성하였다. 과도현상시의 데이터를 이용하여 증기발생기의 시변 특성을 직접 추정하기 위해 일부 물리변수를 급수온도에 대해 비선형으로 정의하였다. 잘 알려져 있는 실측 데이터를 사용하는 모델링 기법들은 선형 시불변 계에서만 적용이 가능하여 증기발생기와 같이 강한 시변 특성을 보이는 계의 모델링에 과도현상 때의 데이터를 적용할 수 없다. 물리변수를 직접 추정하면 물리적 원칙에 의해 값의 범위가 주어지며 운전 경험 또는 개략적인 데이터의 분석에 의해 예상되는 값의 범위를 비교적 작게 정할 수 있으므로 유전자 알고리즘의 적용에 유리하다. 얻어진 모델은 영광 3호기 운전원 훈련용 시뮬레이터와 발전소 설계 자료에 의해 검증되었다. 이 모델은 제어기의 설계 및 조정과 증기유량 측정 계열의 비선형 교정에도 사용될 수 있다.

  • Laser aided direct metal deposition (LADMD) process offers the ability to make a metal component directly from 3-D CAD dimensions. A 3-D object can be formed by repeating laser cladding layer by layer. The key of the build-up mechanism is the effective control of powder delivery and laser power to be irradiated into the melt-pool. A feedback control system using optical sensors is introduced to control laser power and powder mass flow rate. Using H13 tool steel and $CO_2$ laser system, comprehensive analysis are executed to test the efficiency of the system. In addition, the dimensional characteristics of directed deposited material are investigated with the parameters of deposition thickness, laser power, traverse speed and powder mass flow rate.

  • Turbo compressor needs high speed rotation of impeller in structure, high rated gearbox and conventional induction motor. This mechanical system increased the moment of inertia and mechanical friction loss. Resently, the study of turbo compressor applied super high speed motor and drive, removing gearbox made its sire small and mechanical friction loss minimum. This paper describes the implementation of the vector control schemes for a variable-speed 131㎾ PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) drive in super-high speed application.
