Objective: After introduction of the Elderly Long Term Care Insurance, number of geriatric hospitals increased greatly. However, few studies were conducted on the satisfaction of the patients of the geriatric hospitals especially on the intention to reuse geriatric hospitals. Methods: The current study modified Sheth's consumption value model, useful for the development of an effective marketing strategy for geriatric hospitals, and tested it in Korean circumstances. The survey was conducted at two municipal hospitals and three private hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province between August 1 and September 30 of 2012. Data were collected from 472 inpatients who are 60 years or older. The structured research tool was developed and distributed. Factor analysis and hierarchical logistic regression analysis were conducted using SPSS(version 14.0) Results: The result of the research suggested that the satisfaction on rehabilitation services, which is a functional value, among the consumption values was the strongest factor on the intention to reuse geriatric hospitals. Impression of high-end luxury, reliability of care, and outside locus of control on health followed. Conclusion: It is recommended that geriatric hospitals ought to improve rehabilitation programs, facilities, and equipments and enhance kindness of staff to encourage intention to reuse geriatric hospitals.

This study was conducted from December 26, 2018 to January 4, 2019 in order to analyze the effects of hospital internal marketing on job performance and loyalty based on nurses' perception. The participants were 250 nurses at general hospitals located in Gyeonggi-do. The results of this study are as follows: First, internal marketing in hospitals had a statistically significant effect on organizational and future vision, education and training systems, communication, organizational attributes, and job performance (F=29.118, p<.001). The training system, organizational and future vision, compensation and welfare system, and work management environment were found to have a statistically significant effect (F=38.671, p <.001) on loyalty, and the effect of job performance on loyalty was statistically significant (F=87.324, p<.001). Second, the relationship between hospital internal marketing based on nurses' perception and loyalty was found to have a statistically significant positive (+) effect on stage 1 job performance (p<.001) and a statistically significant positive effect on stage 2 loyalty (+) (P <.001). The third-level internal marketing regression coefficient was significant, and job performance was also significant (P <.001). Based on these results, there is a need for hospital management to strengthen internal marketing in order to increase performance level and loyalty among nurses.
This research is for dental hygienists to pursue affection and commitment in organization together with improvement of quality of working life by analyzing factors of working life affecting affective commitment in organization of dental hygienists, to find out plans to increase sense of accomplishments of working life and ultimate satisfaction of life, and to suggest direction for human resources management in management of dental clinics. Objects of investigation were dental hygienists working at dental medical institutions in Busan area with questionnaire survey and 197 sheets of questionnaires were used in the study. As the result of the study, high correlation was shown between composition elements of quality of working life and affective commitment per factor and as the result of quality factors of working life affecting affective commitment in organization, work environment, inter-personal relations, and social meaningfulness provided meaningful impacts on affective commitment in organization. It is believed to be important that dental medical institutions need to promote pride and love of companies in the future by providing regular social services or services for local residents so that employees can form smooth inter-personal relationships among employees with improvement of working environment and welfare in personnel management dimension. And for dental hygienists, they shall improve their work performances and enhance vocational values for development of their institutions and them with positive thinking through ceaseless efforts.
The maritime industry is recognized as an important national industry in the world today, and its importance is increasing. One of the most important marine industries is the marine leisure industry. Korea attracts many foreign visitors, and a wide variety of cultural and tourist resources are worth accessing. Among the visitors are Chinese tourists, who are called Youke and who represent a constantly increasing trend since 2007, when 1.06 million people visited, to 2015, when 5.98 million people visited Accordingly, a budget of about one trillion won has been committed to creating a resort complex called Golden Harbor at Incheon, which will focus on the development of a marine tourism complex In this study, we conduct a survey on the potential of Chinese tourism and marine tourism professionals only success of the targets of the Incheon Port Authority was analyzed by comparing the difference. A fuzzy analysis of the questionnaire results on Chinese tourists showed the importance of giving the highest priority to services being friendly(0.823), followed by safety(0.823) and convenience(0.773), highlighting the importance of recognize a variety of tourism products(0.755). Targeted surveys were conducted on 20 of Incheon Port Authority s employees They showed that various tourism products are the main issue(0.852), following by accessibility(0.850) and immigration(0.810), showed that convenience is important to recognize the order of (0.793).
Although the factors that affect the width of latitude of price acceptance is well documented, the attempt to develop a practice-oriented methodology to calibrate the region of price insensitivity (i.e., a latitude of price acceptance) for a given individual brand has been relatively rare. The researcher aims to try to full this gap by developing a conjoint analysis-based procedure that can be applied to many industries. Furthermore, we examine the difference in the latitude of price acceptance between on- and off-line transaction in stock industry in Korea. The conjoint analysis-based procedure was applied to measure the disaggregate price response curve for individual stock investment both on- and off line transaction channel. The curves from the samples enable us to estimate the individual choice probabilities corresponding to applied price points. Using t-test the differences in mean choice probabilities between the list price and another price point were tested, through which we can get the latitude of price acceptance for a given brand in stock market. These procedures were tested in on- and off-line stock market in South Korea. The results showed that investors on off-line channel have wider latitudes of price acceptance than the investors on on-line transaction system.
Smart work, which is defined as work performed at home, satellite offices or with the smart devices to continually collaborate with the co-workers in anytime, anywhere using IT, is attracting much attention as an alternative work way to cope with the demographical changes of the low fertility and aging. Whereas some implementation cases of smart work have been considered as the success, the other cases have been reported as the failure to implement smart work practices. Nevertheless, there are few researches to identify the reasons of successful ways to adopting smart work. This study integrated the IT-based changes with the smart work practices to identify the critical success factors of smart work in individual, organization and industry levels. As the results, we found out the expected values of introduction, core elements of implementation, and industry characteristics to efficient adoption for smart work. Also, this study compared these evidences with the incumbent smart work policies. The contributions of this study is to develop the guideline to adopting smart work, the smart work implementation strategy and the improvement on the business process.
In modern society, private securities have developed their capabilities continuously. However, despite the fact that not only security industries have been considerably expanded in quantity, but also plenty of scholars published diverse papers relating to security problems, qualitative growths of private securities have not accomplished fully. Especially, securing the President would not be guaranteed only by PSS(Presidential Security Service). In order to secure the President successfully, it is necessary for all the social parts to strive to protect the President. In this respect, improving private securities, including academic fields, might be critical so as to succeed in securing the President. Without the supports from private securities, there might be lots of security problems in national context. Therefore, this study proposes several policy suggestions for the cooperation among PSS, private security industries and academic fields: (1) Providing a lot of practical knowledge from PSS to college students, (2) Personnel exchange between academic parts and PSS to promote the efficiency of securing the President, (3) Furnishing diverse information and knowledge about security to private securities, (4) Formulating security-searching standards, (5) Expanding educational institutions under PSS.
In order to provide quality services across international airports, airline personnel must rapidly and effectively develop and share knowledge. Combining components of adaptive structuration theory (AST) and media synchronicity theory (MST), a research framework was developed to convey three distinct stages of knowledge sharing. We use the grounded theory research method for the qualitative data collected from audio transcripts of employees learning how to use and work with company issued smartphones with push-to-talk functionalities. Data was collected from 33 operations personnel. The results of the content analysis are recorded for the elements of each of the three concepts of our research framework. During the social interaction stage, the content of the audio conversations shifts mainly from conflict management to task management; for media synchronicity, from quality to quantity; for productive outcomes, from efficiency to commitment. New insights are uncovered from our analysis of data from the field as users advance from learning how to use the mobile devices, to using the devices for managing knowledge for their work in the airline industry.

Statement of problem: The introduction of "The Long-term Care Insurance System" (a public nursing care insurance scheme) is scheduled from July in 2008. Lately, the importance of oral health care had increased. Introduction and establishment of the methodology (nursing care procedure) based on professional dental knowledge is inevitable. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to rouse recognition of the importance of dental care in the long term elderly care in nursing homes, with implementation of the new insurance law. Material and methods: Visited two institutions for the elderly, Yudang Village and Sungjiwon located in Suwon city to investigate the present conditions in terms of (1) the detailsof the institution, (2) the activities concerning with dental care in the institution, and (3) the consciousness and recognition regarding dental care of the staffs. Results: In two institutions, under the present conditions, oral cleaning (including the cleaning of denture) for residents was operated with no professional advices and limited professional dental care. It was found that there was very little awareness of aspiration pneumonia. The members of staff however, did recognizethe necessity of professional maintenance and management of oral care in daily nursing care, and that many residents hold dental problems. They were very eager in introducing the methodology (nursing care procedure) in dental care in nursing homes.
Purpose - The present study examines the effect of service employees' experienced customer incivility through their emotional exhaustion. We identified service employees' emotion regulation ability as a boundary condition (i.e., moderating variable) that decreased the positive relationship between service employees' experienced customer incivility and their emotional exhaustion. Furthermore, we also investigated the negative relationship between service employees' experienced customer incivility and their service performance via emotional exhaustion. Research design, data, and methodology - Drawing on AET (affective event theory) and COR (conservation of resources) theory, we developed three research hypotheses (i.e., mediation, moderation, and moderated mediation). Online panel survey data from 552 frontline employees at several service organizations (e.g., department stores, retail stores, hotels, restaurants, airlines, banking, insurance company, and etc) in South Korea were examined. To assess two types of validity (i.e., convergent and discriminant validity) and reliability of measurement model, we employed the CFA (confirmatory factor analysis) using M-plus 8.2 software. Internal consistency also was tested by Cronbach' α. In addition, we employed the SPSS PROCESS MACRO 2.16, which was recommended by Hayes (2013, 2015), to estimate mediation, moderation, and moderated mediation effects. Results - As predicted, the negative relationship between service employees' experienced customer incivility and their service performance was mediated by emotional exhaustion. Furthermore, service employees' emotion regulation ability also played a significant moderating role of the relationship between service employees' experienced customer incivility and emotional exhaustion, such that this relationship was less pronounced when service employees had a high level of their emotion regulation ability than when thir emotion regulation ability was low. Service employees' emotion regulation ability further moderated this mediation effect of service employees' experienced customer incivility on service performance through emotional exhaustion. These findings have theoretical implications for employees' experienced customer incivility and emotion regulation ability research and provide managerial implications for practitioners. Conclusions - This study empirically elaborated the previous model of service employees' experienced customer incivility and personal resource (e.g., emotion regulation ability) literature by presenting the findings that service employees' experienced customer incivility influences their service performance via emotional exhaustion and that emotion regulation ability effectively reduces this negative effect.
