An Analysis of the Job Sequences of the Working Poor (근로빈곤층의 직업력 분석 -비빈곤층과의 비교를 중심으로-)

  • After the economic crisis of Korea, the character of Korean Poverty has changed. Most notably, many people are working but poor. Therefore it is important to understand the characteristics of the working poor, especially the unstable work experiences of the working poor since one of the causes of poverty is that. Prior research about the working poor has not fully proven this issue. This study is to examine the job sequences of the working poor. Thus I utilized the KLIPS(Korea Labor and Income Study), and analyzed it by event sequence analysis and optimal matching methods. The job sequences are divided as follows: total years of working in the labor market, the number of gaps and the length of gaps in their careers, and the characteristics of experienced jobs since they have entered the labor market from age 15. As a result, there are no statistically significant in the total years of working in the labor market. And the number of gaps and the length of gaps in their careers, and the characteristics of experienced jobs show that working poor have been experiencing more unstable than non-poor. Thus, almost all of the male working poor has unstable jobs their whole lives, and the female working poor's job sequences show distinct features according to women's life course. These results can give political implications to the anti-poverty policy in Korea.

Comparison of Relative Accommodation, Accommodative Facility, and Addition Based on Occupation of Initial Presbyopia (직업에 따른 초기 노안의 상대조절력, 조절용이성, 가입도 비교)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to compare the relative accommodation, the accommodative facility, and the addition whose 40's initial presbyopia divided into five occupations (driver, official worker, housewife, field worker, teacher). Methods: We measured the values of near point convergence (NPC), positive relative accommodation (PRA), negative relative accommodation (NRA), accommodative facility, and addition. Results: Official worker group had lower PRA, higher NRA, and lower accommodative facility compared with them of the other groups. The average of addition was as follows: official worker > driver > field worker > housewife > teacher. Conclusions: Because the difference of working environment based on occupation affects the accommodative functions and addition, it is important to consider the patient's occupation when opticians measure the addition for near vision of initial presbyopia.

Comparison of Accommodative Amplitude Based on Occupation of Initial Presbyopia (직업별 초기 노안자의 조절력 비교)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to compare the accommodative amplitude whose 40s initial presbyopia patients divided into five occupation (driver, official worker, housewife, field worker, teacher). Methods: Both "push-up"and "inus lens to blur technique" methods were used to examine the average of accommodative amplitude. Results: All the average of accommodative amplitude (OD, OS, and OU) were the lowest in official worker group (3.27${\pm}$0.21D, 3.31${\pm}$0.22D, 3.54${\pm}$0.28D) and the highest in housewife group (4.07${\pm}$0.35D, 4.11${\pm}$0.35D, 4.37${\pm}$0.39D). Conclusions: Because occupational specifications including a fixative habit are able to change the binocular accommodation, it is important to understand thoroughly the patient's occupation when opticians make near vision prescription for initial presbyopia.

청소년의 기회발견, 창의성 역량, 자기주도 학습력이 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향: 기업가정신을 매개로 하여

  • 21세기 4차 산업혁명 시대에 급변하는 산업과 기술 발전으로 인해 기존의 직업과 일자리의 위협과 변화가 커짐에 따라 청소년의 진로에 대한 준비는 더욱 절실해졌다. 청소년들은 급격한 기술 발전과 시장의 변화로 인한 기존 직업 소멸, 일생에서의 직업 활동기간의 비약적인 증가가 맞물려서 평생 한 번은 창직이나 창업을 해야만 하는 시대를 살고 있다. 이에 대비하기 위해 진로 및 직업활동에 대한 기회를 발견하고, 급변하는 시대와 시장의 다양한 문제들을 창의적으로 해결하고, 남들과 다르게 자신만의 방법으로 다방면의 경험과 지식을 쌓기 위한 자기주도적 학습력이 필수가 되었다. 본 연구는 그동안 다루어지지 않았던 청소년의 기회발견, 창의성 역량, 자기주도 학습력이 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 대해 청소년 진로교육 사례를 중심의 연구이다. 청소년에게 기회발견, 창의성 역량, 자기주도 학습력이 기업가정신의 매개로 하여 진로결정 자기효능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 것이 주요 연구목적이다. 분석결과, 첫째로 기회발견, 창의성 역량, 자기주도 학습력은 진로결정 자기효능감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기업가정신의 향상 정도에 따라 진로결정 자기효능감에 매개 역할을 부분적으로 하고 있음이 확인되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 앞으로 청소년의 진로 및 기업가정신 교육에 중요한 자료가 될 것이며, 향후 청소년 진로 및 기업가정신 교육 프로그램의 연구개발을 위해 관련 연구가 확대 되어야 할 것이다.

A Study on the Level Estimation of Key Competencies in Automobile Production Management Fields (자동차 생산 관리 분야 직업기초능력의 수준 평가 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate key competencies according to their levels in order to understand person's ability in automobile fields of school and workplace. For this study, key competencies consisting of mathematical skills, problem solving skills, communications skills, self management and development skills, resources recycling skills, interpersonal relationship skills, technological skills, information skills, organizational understanding skills were determined. We examined the related literatures to determine the level of key competencies and diverse opinions were accommodated with visits to workplace in order to enhance the validity of the results of this study. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the estimation of key competencies according to their levels was possible and valid.

A Study on Baby Boomer's Job Mobility using Sequential Analysis (순차분석을 활용한 베이비붐 세대의 직업이동 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influential factors on the job mobility types and patterns of baby boomers over the past 15 years. Sequential analysis was conducted to analyze the data that were derived from Wave 1~15(1998~2013) of Korean Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS). In particular, we analyzed the job mobility types and frequency, conversion analysis, probability, and significance rate. The results were as follows: firstly, proportional rates of male baby boomer workers such as technical, functional, and agriculture workers were higher than those of professionals and semi-professionals, whereas in case of female baby boomer workers, proportional rate of office workers were lower than those of service and sales workers. It was showed that functional and labor workers significantly higher than others. We found that after retiring, they left their job to search for farming job or choose to work in secondary labor markets. We suggested that the retirement support system and management system should be designed and conducted in a good manner.

The Relationship among Basic Vocational Competencies, Teaching Personality·Aptitude, and Behavior Type of Preschool Teachers (예비보육교사의 직업기초능력, 교직 인·적성, 행동유형 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship among NCS basic vocational competencies, Teaching Personality Aptitude and DISC behavior type of pre-preschool teachers. The subjects were 110 pre-preschool teachers attended in D university located in Kyonggido. 'NCS basic vocational competencies scale', 'Teaching Personality and Aptitude scale', and 'DISC behavior type scale' were used in the collection of data. It used Pearson's correlation Analysis to analyze the data. The results of this study are as follows; first, there was positive correlations between dominance trait and mathematical competency. And, there was positive correlations between interaction trait and self-development competency. And there were negative correlations between support traits and NCS basic vocational competencies. Second, it was revealed that positive correlations between almost sub scale's of NCS basic vocational competencies and teacher teaching personality aptitude. Third, there was positive correlations between dominance trait and sub scale of teaching personality aptitude(e.g.: problem solving/ inquiry skills, judgment, creativity/practical ability, leadership, knowledge/information ability, planning ability, sincerity/responsibility). And there were negative correlations between support traits and sub scale of teaching personality aptitude(e.g.: problem solving/ inquiry skills, judgment, creativity/practical ability, leadership, sincerity/responsibility).

A Study on the Effects of Job-related Variables on Job Satisfaction and Professionalism among Beauty Salon Workers (미용종사자의 직업관련 변수와 직업전문성이 직업만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated differences between job satisfaction and professionalism by job-related variable and analyzed the effects of job-related variables and job professionalism on job satisfaction among a total of 144 beauty salon workers in Busan and Ulsan. The main results are as follows. First, a difference between job satisfaction and professionalism was found by average monthly income and environmental satisfaction. Second, in terms of correlations with variable, job professionalism revealed static correlation with average monthly income, employment period and environmental satisfaction while job satisfaction showed static correlation with average monthly income, environmental satisfaction and job professionalism. In employment period, a significant difference was observed. Third, regarding the influence of variables on job satisfaction, job satisfaction became higher as average and job professionalism increased. In particular, job professionalism was the highest in terms of exploratory power. So a plan for allowing beauticians to improve confidence in professionalism and job satisfaction was presented.

청소년 창직교육을 통한 창업의지 변화에 대한 연구: 자기주도 학습력과 창의성역량의 매개효과 확인

  • 4차 산업혁명으로 기존 일자리가 사라지고 있으며, 보다 창의적인 진로전략이 요구되고 있다. 기존의 진로전략이 구직(求職), 즉 '직업을 찾는다.'는 개념이었다면, 4차 산업혁명 시대의 중요한 진로전략인 창직은 구직의 틀에서 벗어나 개인이 직업을 적극적으로 발굴하고 일자리를 창출하는데 초점을 두고 있다. 즉, 개인이 직업을 '발굴하고', '선택한다.'는 점이 중요하며, 구직이 '남이 나를 고용한다.'는데 의미가 있다면, 창직은 '내가 나를 고용한다.'는 점에서 구직자의 주체적이고 적극적인 의지를 더욱 필요로 하고 있다. 창직교육을 통해 청소년이 자신의 진로를 직접 발굴하고 선택할 수 있는 진로결정 자기효능감의 향상이 자기고용을 이루기 위한 주체적이고 적극적인 의지를 반영하는 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 본 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 창직교육 프로그램을 처치한 실험집단은 총 293명으로 검증 시 진로결정 자기효능감, 대인관계기술, 자기주도 학습력, 기업가정신, 기회발견, 기회활용, 사회적 문제해결력, 창의성역량, 창업의지 전 항목에서 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 평균값의 상승을 보였다. 창직교육 프로그램을 처치하지 않은 통제집단은 총 85명으로 사전/사후의 평균값이 미미한 수준의 차이를 보였다. 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 자기주도 학습력과 창의성역량이 매우 두드러지게 향상되었고, 진로결정 자기효능감과 창업의지가 두드러지게 향상되었다. 반면, 통제집단은 실험집단과 비교하여 자기주도 학습력과 창의성역량이 미약하게 향상되었고, 진로결정 자기효능감도 미약하게 향상되었으나 오히려 창업의지는 감소하였다. 본 연구로 창직교육을 통한 자기주도 학습력과 창의성역량의 향상이 진로결정 자기효능감과 창업의지에 매개변수가 되어, 진로결정 자기효능감과 창업의지를 향상시켰음을 알 수 있다.
