Factors affecting the Health Problems of Concrete Mixer Truck Driver (콘크리트믹서트럭운전자의 건강문제에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the level of health problems and the factors that affect health problems for concrete mixer truck divers. Methods: The questionnaires were administered to 111 drivers in 6 Remicon workplaces located in D city and 7 Remicon workplaces located in K city from September 10 to 28, 2018. A total of 111 questionnaires were collected and 106 were used, excluding 5 incomplete ones. Data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, $x^2$ test, multiple logistic regression analysis by SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: The factors affecting subjective health were eating habits, sleeping hours and drinking conditions. The factors that affected chronic diseases were age, eating habits, sleep hours, and drinking conditions. The factors influencing musculoskeletal complaints were work experience, eating habits, and sleep hours. Conclusion: The major influencing factors of health problems were eating habits, sleeping hours. This study suggests that it is necessary to run a systematic health care program for the desirable health behaviors in the communities and industrial fields.

Factors Influencing Health-Promoting Behaviors among Fish Market Merchants (어시장 상인의 건강증진행위 영향요인)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors influencing health-promoting behaviors (HPB) among fish market merchants. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive design including 117 merchants working at a fish market in city C. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires during April 19-30, 2021, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé's test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: The scores were 2.68±0.49 for HPB among fish market merchants. Factors significantly influencing HPB among fish market merchants were perceived disabilities (β=-.42, p<.001), self-efficacy (β=.26, p<.001), perceived benefits (β=.16, p=.012), exercise (β=.14, p=.023) and daily working hours (β=-.13, p=.030). These factors accounted for 60.3% of the HPB of fish market merchants. Conclusion: These findings suggest that efforts are needed to reduce perceived disabilities, reduce working hours per day, and develop programs to enhance self-efficacy, perceived benefits, and exercise in order promote HPB among fish market merchants.

Husband's Time Spent Structure and Husband and Wife's Perceptions of the Family Life Problem (남편의 생활시간구조와 가족생활시간에 관한부부의 지각)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 남편의 장시간노동이 사회적 문제로 부각되는 실정에서 남편이 직업노동과 관련해서 소비하는 시간이 어느정도나 되며 이것이 다른 생활시간배분에 어떤 영향을 주고 또 가정생활시간에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 분석해보는 것이다. 연구결과는 요약 하면 다음과 같다 1) 남편의 총직업노동시간의 실태를 보면 평일 11시간 43분 토요일이 8시 간 21분 일요일이 1시간 13분으로 나타났다 평일 직업노동시간을 5집단으로 나누어 다른 생 활시간에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 전반적으로 직업노동시간이 긴 집단이 짧은 집단에 비 해서 다른 모든 생활시간- 생리적, 가사적, 사회문화적 시간-에 소비하는 시간이짧은 것으 로 나타났다 . 2) 남편의 장시간노동으로 인한 가정생활문제에 대한 지각에 있어서는 남편 은 주로 자신의 피로회복문제나 스포츠.여가시간 부족문제 생활의 여유가 없다는 문제 가 족단란시간 부족문제 자녀와의 접촉시간 부족문제 등을 심각하다고 지각하고 있었고 부인은 남편의 건강염려 남편의 자녀접촉시간 부족 가족단란시간 부족 남편과 취미 스포츠를 할 시 간 부족 부부간 대화시간 부족등이 문제가 된다고 지각하였다 3)남편의 장시간노동으로 인 한 가정생활문제에 대한 지각은 남편의 경우에는 연령 부인의 취업여부 막내자녀연령, 직업 노동시간, 직업노동시간에 대한 태도에 따라서 부인의 경우에는 연령, 부인의 취업여부, 막 내자녀연령, 남편의 직업노동시간에 대한 태도, 성역할태도 따라서 차이가 나타났다.

Marital Satisfaction and Family Strengths in Dual-Income Teachers (맞벌이교사들의 결혼만족도와 가족건강성)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the marital satisfaction and family strengths in dual-Income teachers. The subjects of this study were 289 dual-income teachers in the Gyeongnam Area. Korea. The major findings obtained from this study are summarized as follows: 1) The degree of marital satisfaction of the dual-Income teachers was 5.22 on a scale of 0-7.0. The significant variables were sex, the educational degree, religion, the type of family. housework-helper, self-esteem and job satisfaction in dual-Income teachers. 2) The degree of family strengths of dual-Income teachers was 3.88 on a scale 0-5.0. The significant variables were economic level, self-esteem, job satisfaction, and marital satisfaction in dual-Income teachers. 3) There was a close correlation between the marital satisfaction and family strengths in dual-Income teachers.

A Narrative Research on Occupational Identity of a TVET Teacher Using the Project Method in Programming Fields (프로젝트법을 활용하는 프로그래밍분야 직업능력개발훈련교사의 직업정체성 내러티브 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to discover the occupational identity by examining the narrative of the life of a TVET teacher using the project method in programming fields. Teacher S, a participant in the study, started as a part-time lecturer at university and has been teaching programs for the past 20 years. As a result, six kinds of occupational identities of a programming teacher who teach by project method were found. S experienced pride and pride as a teacher through the project method. The project method served as a motive for continuous self-development to lead S to an expert. His experience as a positive teacher made him wish to maintain this life and live as a teacher as long as his health permits, even after retirement. This study has significance in exploring the structure of the occupational identity of a TVET teacher using the project method in programming fields, which have not been studied yet.

A Study of Oral Health Impact Profile 14 among the Elderly in Rural Area (일부 농촌노인들의 구강건강영향지수(Oral Health Impact Profile)14 평가)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was oral health related quality of life among elderly population in some rural area, Korea. Methods: 546 participants (male 196, female 350) aged more than 65 years (mean $71.4{\pm}4.6\;years$) were surveyed cross-sectionally. All the subjects were examined short-form of Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14) by face to face interview. Categorical responses of strata-adjusted Wilcoxon correlation and Kruskal-Willis test and multiple regression analysis after adjusting for socio-demographic variables were adapted for statistical analysis. Results: 1. As for sub-factors of the quality of living related to oral health, the drop in social ability was 4.61, the drop in mental ability 4.53, the drop in physical ability 3.99, mental inconvenience 3.98, social disadvantages 3.82, physical pains 3.77, and functional division 3.44, on the average. 2. As for the quality of living related to oral health, there were statistically significant differences in functional restrictions by gender, the educational level, and the presence of occupation, in physical pains by gender, the educational level, family members living together. mental inconvenience by gender, the educational level, the presence of occupation. and in the drop in physical ability by gender, the educational level, monthly incomes. There were statistically significant differences in the drop in physical ability by gender, the educational level. in the drop in social ability by the educational level, the presence of occupation, monthly income. and in social inconvenience by age, the presence of occupation, monthly income. 3. There were statistically significant differences in the general quality of living related to oral health by gender, the educational level, the presence of occupation.
