  • This paper is about design of optimal structure of microstrip dielectric ceramic antenna with rectangular electrode patches in accordance with the cavity model and fabrication of its prototype sample operating at the frequency of 900 MHz. Results of this work can be employed as a useful too to develop and diversify ceramic antenna having superior performance and omni-directivity to that of current helical antenna.

  • 본 논문에서는 CPW(Coplanar waveguide) 급전되는 평면 루프 슬롯을 2.45 GHz 대역 Wi-Fi용으로 소형화 설계하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 제안된 구조는 직사각형 형태의 CPW 급전 루프 슬롯 안테나를 기본형으로 하여 내부 패치에 슬롯을 좌우 대칭으로 여러 개 수직 방향으로 배치한 안테나이며, FR4 기판의 한 면에 인쇄된다. 여러 가지 파라미터 값들이 안테나의 특성에 미치는 영향을 관찰하고 기존 루프 슬롯 안테나를 소형화하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. FR4 기판에 $80mm{\times}50mm$ 크기로 2.45 GHz 대역용으로 설계된 안테나의 특성을 시뮬레이션을 통해 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, we will design a 800MHz broadband antenna after a problem of the narrow bandwidth is improved. This multiple band antenna unifies the CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access), GSM(Global System for Mobile telecommunication) and TRS(Trunked Radio System) band in the UHF bandwidth, and then it is possible at the shore base station or repeater as the commercial use. It used the duplex resonance effect It had the L-shaped feeding structure which adds the V-slot. And it improved profit using stack structure. It was measured that the frequency bandwidth of the designed antenna which is planed $792{\sim}1040MHz$ with 248MHz(33%). And the antenna gain is 9.4dBi, 3dB beam width $60^{\circ}$ in radiation pattern.

Miniaturization of UHF Planar Antenna Employing Slot-loading (Slot-loading에 의한 UHF 대역 평면 안테나의 소형화 설계)

  • Planar antennas are very efficient for the use of the out-door data transmission applications due to their low-profile characteristics. But the size of the antenna in UHF band blocks the practical usage. In this paper, a miniaturized planar antenna is investigated for the application of AMR system in UHF band. The designed antenna is fabricated in the form of the microstrip patch on the FR-4 substrate. The miniaturization is achieved by slot-loading on the patch. First, effects of simple slots on the size reduction are analyzed, followed by the design using more complex slots resulting in the reduction ratio of 37.9% in 425.6 MHz and bandwidth of 3.8 MHz. The effect of epoxy coating for the protection is also investigated.

  • In this paper, we have designed microstrip antenna if 800[MHz] band It will be able to integrate TRS(Trunked Radio System), GSM(Global System for Mobile telecommunication) band including the CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) band we designed repeater and a base station antenna which is possible at the ship and marine of safety. It is improves a narrow bandwidth problem of microstrip antenna. It had U-shaped feeding structure at a rectangular patch And ground or feeding structure used between dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}_T$ = 2.1), patch or feeding structure used between dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}_T$ =1). So it used a duplex resonance effect Designed frequency bandwith(V5WR 2:1) if the antenna showed good characteristic of $780[MHz]{\sim}1.83[GHz]$ to 2.61[GHz]. Also the E-plan and H-plan all profit 9.4[dBi] above, the 3[dB] beam width showed the characteristic over the E-plan and H-plan $60^{\circ}$ to be improved.

  • In this paper, a stand-type planar antenna of 900MHz RFID band is designed and fabricated. As the proposed antenna is stand-type use of air permittivity, Bandwidth used ground height at rectangle patch structure and coaxial feed line is widen. Also wideband width can solve problem that RFID tag attached to things happens frequency shift keying phenomenon by liquid, special metal, temperature, humidity etc. Bandwidth of fabricated antenna to VSWR less than 2 is satisfied 11.9% at $890MHz{\sim}1000MHz$. And proposed antenna is circular polarization antenna of operating characteristics that axial ratio is less than 2 and gain is 6dBi.

  • In this paper, we studied the design and fabrication of dual T type antenna to be used in LTE communication systems operating at around 1.8 GHz band. In order to improve of frequency properties of antenna, single feed microstrip patch antenna and CPWG antenna was simulated by HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator). The fabricated dual T type antennat showed that the measured center frequency, the minimum return loss and -10dB bandwidth were 1.79 GHz, -23.26 dB and 23 MHz, respectively.

  • In this paper, a microstrip array antenna capacitively coupled to a microstrip line is studied. The array antenna consists of uniformly spaced rectangular microstrip patches arranged close to a feeding microstrip line on a grounded dielectric substrate. The effects of various parameters, such as strip width and length, distance between adjacent patches, gap between strip patches and microstrip feed line, on the antenna performance were examined. By properly adjusting geometrical parameters, the array suitable for a high gain antenna for use in a frequency band centered at 12.5 GHz was designed.

  • In this paper, a design method for a broadband planar dipole antenna for the terrestrial digital television (DTV) reception is studied. The proposed antenna is an asymmetrical planar dipole consists of a rectangular patch with an embedded t-shaped slit, and the antenna shape is printed on a side of an FR4 substrate. The effects of geometrical parameters on the antenna performance are examined, and the parameters are adjusted to operate in the DTV frequency band of 470-806 MHz. The prototype antenna is fabricated on an FR4 substrate with a size of $260mm{\times}30mm$. The performance of the antenna is tested experimentally to verify the results of this study.
