A Watermarking Algorithm of 3D Mesh Model Using Spherical Parameterization (구면 파라미터기법을 이용한 3차원 메쉬 모델의 워더마킹 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose a blind watermarking algorithm of 3d mesh model using spherical parameterization. Spherical parameterization is a useful method which is applicable to 3D data processing. Especially, orthogonal coordinate can not analyse the feature of the vertex coordination of the 3D mesh model, but this is possible to analyse and process. In this paper, the centroid center of the 3D model was set to the origin of the spherical coordinate, the orthogonal coordinate system was transformed to the spherical coordinate system, and then the spherical parameterization was applied. The watermark was embedded via addition/modification of the vertex after the feature analysis of the geometrical information and topological information. This algorithm is robust against to the typical geometrical attacks such as translation, scaling and rotation. It is also robust to the mesh reordering, file format change, mesh simplification, and smoothing. In this case, the this algorithm can extract the watermark information about $90{\sim}98%$ from the attacked model. This means it can be applicable to the game, virtual reality and rapid prototyping fields.

Elastic Local Buckling of Orthotropic Open Section Compression Members with Asymmetric Edge Stiffeners (비대칭 연단보강재가 설치된 직교이방성 개방단면 압축재의 탄성국부좌굴)

  • This paper presents the results of an analytical investigation pertaining to the elastic local buckling behavior of asymmetric edge stiffened orthotropic open section structural member under uniform compression. The asymmetric edge stiffener is considered as a beam element neglecting its torsional rigidity. We suggested the analytical model of asymmetric edge stiffeners which is composed of a strip of flange plate, equal width of edge stiffener, and a plate attached at the flange end, and computed the moment of inertia of the stiffener about an axis through the centroid of the ensuing cross-section. Using the derived equation, the local buckling coefficients of asymmetrically edge stiffened orhtotropic I-section columns are predicted and the results are presented in a graphical form.

  • 본 논문에서는 SURF 알고리즘을 이용한 직교식 스테레오 카메라 영상의 칼라 불균형 보정 방법 제안한다. 제안 방법에서는 SURF 알고리즘을 이용하여 스테레오 좌, 우 영상의 대응점을 찾은 후, 찾은 대응점들의 칼라 보정 벡터를 영상 획득 모델을 기반으로 계산한다. 영상 전체에서 다양한 칼라 대응점 정보를 추출하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 분할영상을 이용하여 칼라 대응점 정보를 추출한다. 추출된 대응점 정보는 초기 칼라 보정 벡터로 변환할 수 있으며 좌, 우 영상의 모든 픽셀에 대하여 색정보가 가장 유사한 대응점의 보정 벡터를 사용하여 칼라 불균형을 보정한다. 초기 보정 벡터를 이용한 칼라 불균형 보정 후 존재하는 노이즈을 제거하기 위하여 유사한 색공간에 위치한 칼라 보정 벡터에 가우시안 필터를 적용한다. 실험 결과로 원본 영상과 보정된 영상의 칼라 히스토그램을 비교하였으며, 분할 영역의 수에 따른 보정 결과도 비교 제시하였다. 실험 결과는 제안한 방법이 직교식 스테레오 카메라 영상에 효과적인 칼라 불균형 보정 방법임을 보여준다.

Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis of RC Shear Walls under Cyclic Loadings (반복하중을 받는 철근콘크리트 전단벽의 비선형 유한요소 해석)

  • This paper describes the extension of the numerical model, which was developed to simulate the nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) structures subjected to monotonic in plane shear and introduced in the companion paper, to simulate effectively the behavior of RE structures under cyclic loadings. While maintaining all the basic assumptions adopted in defining the constitutive relations of concrete under monotonic loadings, a hysteretic stress strain relation of concrete, which across the tension compression region, is defined. In addition, unlike previous simplified stress strain relations, curved unloading and reloading branches inferred from the stress strain relation of steel considering the Bauschinger effect we used. The modifications of the stress strain relation of steel are also introduced to reflect pinching effect depending on the shear span ratio and an average stress distribution in a cracked RC element. Finally, correlation studies between analytical results and experimental studies are conducted to establish the validity of the proposed model.

Tracking Filter Dealing with Nonlinear Inherence as a System Input (비선형 특성을 시스템 입력으로 처리하는 추적 필터)

  • The radar measurements are composed of range, Doppler and angles which are expressed as polar-coordinate components. An approach to match the measurements with the states of target dynamics which are modeled in cartesian coordinates is to use the pseudo-measurements or the extended Kalman filter in order to solve the mismatching problem. Another approach is that the states of dynamics are modeled in polar coordinates and measurement equation is linear. However, this approach bears that we have to deal with a time-varying dynamics. In this study, it is proposed that the states of dynamics are expressed as polar-coordinate component and the system matrix of the dynamic equation is modeled as a time-invariant. Nonlinear terms that appear due to the proposed modeling are regarded as a system input. The results of a series of simulation runs indicate that the tracking filter that uses the proposed modeling is viable from the fact that the Doppler measurement is easy to be augmented in the measurement equation.

  • paper presents the results of a three-dimensional study of the natural vibration of laminated composite rectangular plates with various combinations of clamped and free boundaries. The Ritz method was used to obtain the stationary values of the associated Lagrangian, with displacements approximated using mathematicaly complete, characteristic orthogonal polynomials. The correctness of the three-dimensional model was established through a convergence study of the non-dimensional frequencies, followed by a comparison of the analytical findings in the existing literature. The wide scope of additional three-dimensional frequency results explains the influence of a number of geometrical and material parameters for angle-ply and cross-ply laminated plates, namely aspect ratio (${\mathcal{a/b}}$), thickness ratio (${\mathcal{a/h}}$), orthotropy of material, number of plies (${\mathcal{N}}$), fiber orientation angle (${\theta}$), and stacking sequence.

Approximate Optimization Based on Meta-model for Weight Minimization Design of Ocean Automatic Salt Collector (해양자동채염기의 최소중량설계를 위한 메타모델 기반 근사최적화)

  • In this paper, the meta-model based approximate optimization was carried out for the structure design of an ocean automatic salt collector in order to minimize the structure weight. The structural analysis was performed by using the finite element method to evaluate the strength performance of the ocean automatic salt collector in its initial design. In the structural analysis, it was evaluated the strength performance of the design load conditions. The optimum design problem was formulated so that design variables of main structure thickness would be determined by minimizing the structure weight subject to strength performance constraints. The meta-models used in the approximate optimization were the response surface method, Kriging model, and Chebyshev orthogonal polynomials. Regarding to the numerical characteristics, the solution results from approximate optimization techniques were compared to the results of non-approximate optimization. The Chebyshev orthogonal polynomials among the meta-models used in the approximate optimization showed the most appropriate optimum design results for the structure design of the ocean automatic salt collector.

Coverage Modeling in Neural Machine Translation using Orthogonal Regularization (직교 정규화를 이용한 신경망 기계 번역에서의 커버리지 모델링)

  • 최근 신경망 번역 모델에 주의 집중 네트워크가 제안되어 기존의 기계 번역 모델인 규칙 기반 번역 모델, 통계적 번역 모델에 비해 높은 번역 성능을 보이고 있다. 그러나 주의 집중 네트워크가 잘못 모델링되는 경우 과소 번역 현상이 나타난다. 신경망 번역 모델에 커버리지 메커니즘을 추가하여 과소 번역 현상을 완화하는 연구가 진행되었으나 이는 모델의 구조를 변경해야하는 불편함이 있다. 본 논문에서는 신경망 번역 모델의 구조를 변경하지 않고 새로운 손실 함수를 정의하여 과소 번역 현상을 완화하는 방법을 제안한다. 한-영 번역 실험을 통해 제안한 주의 집중 네트워크의 정규화 방법이 커버리지 메커니즘의 목적을 효율적으로 달성함을 보인다.

  • 가상현실이나 인터넷 웹지도 서비스와 같이 3차원의 실세계를 시스템 상에 그대로 재현(reconstruction)하기 위해서는 정교하고 세밀한 3차원 도시모델이 필수적이다. 이러한 3차원 도시모델의 자동생성은 원격탐사 및 사진측량 분야에서 많은 연구가 수행되고 있다. 이러한 연구들은 다양한 센서 데이터와 기 구축되어 있는 GIS자료를 이용하여 건물, 도로, 지형 등의 도시모델을 자동으로 생성하고자 한다. 그러나 대부분의 연구에서 추출한 각 기본요소(primitives)-평면패치(planar patches), 에지(edges), 모서리(corners)에 대한 국부적인 정제(refinement)는 수행하였으나, 생성한 건물 모델에 대한 광역적인 조정을 통한 정규화에 대한 연구는 미비한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 데이터로부터 생성된 B-rep (boundary representation) 형태의 건물 모델에 대하여 기하학적인 제약요소(constraints)를 이용한 정규화(regularization) 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 제안하는 방법은 건물의 Domain Knowledge에 기반하여 도출한 건물을 구성하는 기본요소(primitives)간의 인접성, 직교성, 평행성, 교차성 등의 다양한 제약조건을 이용하여 광역적으로 조정한다. 시뮬레이션 데이터에 적용한 결과의 분석을 통해 제안된 정규화 방법을 통해 오차가 포함된 건물모델이 보다 정형화된 형태로 조정되었음을 확인하였다.
