This study was conducted to investigate the relationship among character, nursing professionalism, self-efficacy and self-directed learning ability of nursing students as well as to identify the factors influencing self-directed learning ability. Data were collected from May 22 to June 8, 2017 using a self-report questionnaire and questionnaires from 396 nursing students in J Province. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Dunnett's T3 test, Pearson's correlation coefficient and hierarchical regression analysis. The mean scores of character, nursing professionalism, self-efficacy and self-directed learning ability were $3.93{\pm}0.47$, $3.83{\pm}0.48$, $3.53{\pm}0.59$ and $3.63{\pm}0.51$, respectively. Character, nursing professionalism, and self-efficacy were positively correlated with self-directed learning ability. The factors influencing self-directed learning ability of nursing students were participation in class, satisfaction with major, awareness of self-initiated life, self-control, will and competence, habit, and self-efficacy, nursing professionalism had no significant effect. Based on these findings, programs that develop character, self-efficacy, and nursing professionalism are necessary for nursing students to promote self-directed learning ability.

In this paper, visualization of convolution operation is presented, which is implemented by scalable vector graphics (SVG). Convolution operation is one of the basic essential concepts in the area of signal and image processing. However, it is difficult for students to intuitively understand the operation of convolution since it is mainly based on mathematical representation. We present the visualization of convolution operation and its applications which are implemented by SVG. The effects of the proposed approach have been analyzed by interviews. It has been seen that the proposed visualization of convolution operation could be effectively applied to learn the convolution operation and its applications.

새로운 세기의 수학 교육은 직관과 조작 활동에 바탕을 둔 경험에서 수학적 형식, 관계, 개념, 원리 및 법칙 등을 이해하도록 지도되어야 한다. 즉 학생들의 내면 세계에서 적절한 경험을 통하여 시각적 ${\cdot}$ 직관적으로 수학적 개념을 재구성할 수 있도록 상황과 대상을 제공해야 한다. 이를 위하여 컴퓨터 응용 프로그램을 활용한 자기주도적 수학 개념 형성에 적합한 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 모델을 구안하여 보았다. 이는 수학의 필요성과 실용성 인식 및 자기주도적 문제해결력 향상을 위한 상호작용적 매체의 활용이 요구된다. 본 연구는 구성주의적 수학 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 이론을 근간으로 대수 ${\cdot}$ 해석 ${\cdot}$ 기하 및 스프레트시트의 상호 연계를 통하여 수학 지식을 재구성할 수 있도록 학습수행지를 제작하여 교사와 학생의 다원적 상호 학습 기회를 제공하는 데 주안점을 두고자 한다.

Intuitive learning method was applied at the beginning of each lecture to induce students to draw their interests. Avoiding simple explanation of equations and problem solving by using them, we repeated theoretical concepts verbally and applied physical meanings when we developed and wrote equations. By these methods we expected to find a way to increase students' learning effects. We also took a group investigation on pursuing term projects. Students choose their own subjects individually and submitted reports according to the time schedule. The reports included the contents that they learned during classes. After choosing best reports for each group by instructor, students at each group divided roles and prepared presentations. Thorough these methods they increased their scores from mid-term to final exams, and got aquatinted with responsibilities among group and organizations. They also experienced physical meanings from the usual daily life phenomena which could be connected to the engineering concepts and improved abilities as junior engineers.

The shape learning of elementary mathematics should required a variety of activities to help student based on intuitive understanding. Learning three-dimensional shapes, it is effectively take advantage of actual object, but difficult to check a development figure or various forms of actual object, it is effectively utilizing computers semi-actual object. In addition, the computer to take advantage of even after school resources, the limits of learning something concrete to take advantage complement. This research developed the three-dimensional shapes application of elementary students shape learning to use of Flex and Flash. This application to take advantage of the free observation and causing an interesting and effective learning.

Intuition has played an important role in process of invention of mathematics and given understanding of mathematical truth and the direction of solution. So, I review about intuition in history of mathematical philosophy and mathematics because we need systematic research about intuition for search of the methods for enhancement of intuition in mathematics education. According to the research of scholars who emphasize intuitive education, intuition is common feature which everybody hold and is not special feature which particular person hold. In addition, intuition is universal ability that can enhance by proper instruction. So, we have to emphasize the importance of the development of intuition and education which emphasize creative thought via intuition.

수학적 사고의 입장에서 중등학생들이 수학적 문제해결에 논리적 사고와 직관적 사고가 어떻게 작용하는지를 연구하는 것은 수학교육에서 중요하고도 흥미로운 과제의 하나이다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 중등학교 영재학생을 대상으로 이러한 문제를 조사하는 것이다. 특히 이들 중등영재학생들의 논리적 사고와 직관적 사고에 대한 선호도와 논리적 문제의 문제해결능력 사이의 관계를 조사한다.

This study is a descriptive research study to confirmed the effects of academic self-efficacy and clinical practice satisfaction on nursing professionalism of adult learner nursing students. Data were collected from October 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023, targeting 120 adult learners and nursing students attending 5 universities located in C province. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 26.0 program. Results of this study Satisfaction with clinical practice and academic self-efficacy (r=.773, p<.01), Satisfaction with clinical practice and nursing professionalism (r=7.87, p<.01), Academic self-efficacy and nursing professionalism (r=8.34, p<.01), there was a positive correlation with each other. As a result of regression analysis, college life satisfaction, practical peer relationship, major satisfaction, clinical practice satisfaction, and academic self-efficacy were confirmed as factors influencing nursing professionalism (F=57.86, p<.001). The explanatory power was 75.5%. In order to improve the nursing professionalism of adult learner nursing students, an institutional educational strategy will be needed to develop interventions that can increase academic self-efficacy and clinical practice satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze high school girls' observational characteristics. A total of 77 female high students were asked to observe 'Las Meninas', a well known 17th century painting by Diego Velazquez and volumetric flask. MBTI(Myer Briggs Type Indicator) was implemented for student's personal characteristics. We analyzed testimony into its differences between objective and practical, and subjective and abstract, wholeness by character type. As a result, 41 participants have preference for sensuous recognition and the rest of the 36 participants have preference for intuitional recognition. From the observation statement, it showed differences of the results according to their character type. As the result that it showed above, learners used two ways of recognition but they showed tendency with strong reliance on their preferred recognition. In case of preferring the sensuous recognition, it tended towards the basis of phenomenological analysis, objective fact and physical judge. However, in case of preferring the intuitional recognition, it tended to observe by momentary thinking, flash of idea and meaning behind.
