  • In this study, assuming that there is a diagonal uniaxial compression field in combination with triangular homogeneous stress fields in the cracked concrete wall and a tensile stress of a steel plate occurs in the perpendicular to the direction of the diagonal compression field, an ultimate shear strength of a slender composite shear wall is estimated.

  • 월파조건에서 직립벽을 따른 연파특성에 대한 실험을 수행하고 그 결과를 비교하였다. 제체전면을 따른 파고분포를 살펴보면, 상대여유고에 따른 파고변화는 어느 정도 나타났다. 제체 직각 방향으로의 결과에서 상대파고의 감소는 연파의 폭범위내에서 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 보다 자세한 분석과 월파량과 연계한 분석을 수행할 예정이다.

  • 본 연구에서는 난류경계층 압력유동을 받는 구조물의 탄성응력파의 전파특성을 파동역할을 이용하여 해석하였다. 기존의 연구에서는 직각좌표계를 이용하여 난류운동이 동일한 한 방향으로 흐르는 경우에 대해 탄성응력파의 전파특성을 해석하였으나, 본 연구에서는 유체가 구조물의 표면에 수직으로 입사하여 방사형으로 흘러나갈 경우에 발생하는 탄성응력파의 전파 특성을 극좌표계를 이용하여 해석하였다. 또한 기초 구조물의 깊이방향으로 전파되는 탄성응력파를 감소시키기 위해 기초구조물의 표면에 접착시키는 탄성중합체층을 설계하는데 보다 효율적으로 응용할 수 있는 단순화된 1자유도계 모델을 유도하였다.

  • 한국전력 가공배전선로의 기존의 차폐선(가공지선)에 의한 직격뢰 차폐를 개선하기 위해, 기존 가공지선과는 별도로, 전주에 가공 지선과 직각방향의 수평피뢰침을 추가로 설치함으로써, 직격뢰에 의한 뇌사고를 대폭 줄일 수 있는 것으로 파악되었으며, 본 논문에서 검토배경, 원리, 실제의 형태 및 설치, 기대효과 등에 대해 간략히 검토하였다.

  • This paper presents a desing of a PWM programmable controller for industrial robot to be utilized in process which reqires various movements and repeating operations. To be specific, a low-level robot language is constructed which makes easy for the user to program complex robot motion, and an interpreter is developed to execute the program. Also, related hardware and software, and monitor program for convenience of user are implemented. When the proposed controller is applied to the catresian coordinate 4-axis manipulator, it reveals that the error probabilities of X,Y and Z axis as 0.033%, 0.023%,0.028% respectively.

  • 비접촉 거리측정 장치인 레이저스캐너를 이용하여 무인차량의 평행주차 및 직각주차 알고리즘 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이 알고리즘을 검증하기 위하여 GPS와 차량에 6대의 레이저스캐너를 장착하여 이용하였고, 레이저스캐너를 이용한 위치 계산의 오차를 줄이기 위해 타이어 미끄러짐을 최소로 할 수 있도록 5km/h로 차량의 이동 속도를 제한하였다.

  • 교량의 주탑, 초고층빌딩과 같이 세장비가 큰 대형구조물의 경우 풍하중에 취약한 특성을 지니고 있어서 바람에 의해 직각 방향으로 발산 진동하는 갤로핑(galloping) 현상이 발생하게 된다. 구조물의 진동을 억제하려는 방안으로 단면 형상에 변화를 주어 공기역학적 불안정성을 감소시키는 방법이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Edison_CFD를 이용하여 모서리 절단부의 비율과 받음각에 따른 공기력 특성에 대한 전산해석을 수행하였다.

Effects of Exhaust Pipe Curvature on the Exhaust Noise of a Diesel Engine (디이젤 엔진에서 排氣管의 屈曲度가 排氣 騷音에 미치는 影響)

  • It is often occurred that exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine should be bent due to some geometrical constraints. Especially for automobiles most of exhaust pipes of engines have curvature to avoid rear axles. In this paper effects of pipe curvature on the exhaust noise of a diesel engine have been studied experimentally. Experiments were carried out on a 4-cycle, 2164cc diesel engine. Two types of curvature, circular arc and retangle, were tested. Sound pressure level (SPL) and power spectrum of the exhaust noise were measured by inserting bent pipes of different curvature dimensions into the exhaust pipe at various engine operating conditions. The following results were obtained from this study. Among the engine operating conditions the exhaust noise was affected mainly by engine revolution speed. The noise was reduced by the circular arc bent pipe. The effectiveness of an arc bent pipe on the noise reduction was dominated by its arc angle and the maximum noise reduction was obtained by the angle of 180.deg.. But the noise reduction could not be obtained by the rectangular bent pipe, and at high engine speed the noise was rather increased due to turbulence of exhaust gas.

  • In this study, characteristics of multi-photos and optimal photographing method are suggested by analyzing the normal case and convergent case with multiple method. The optimal photographing method is applied to deformation measurement of a model miniature structure under loading. Comparing with conventional measurement method in accuracy, efficiency and proprities of application of this method are suggested. As a result, the optimal photographing condition is ideal at $90^{\circ}$ convergent multiple case, whose measurement values approach to that of precision level within $5{\sim}9{\mu}m$ and bring more than about 55% improvement of accuracy comparing with normal case at the number of photos respectively. Therefore application of this method in deformation measurement as well as precision analysis of structures is desired in precision and economical aspect.

An Experimental Study on Ultimate Behavior of Thin-walled Carbon Steel Bolted Connections with Varying Plate Thickness and End Distance (평판두께와 연단거리를 변수로 갖는 박판탄소강 볼트접합부의 종국거동에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The purpose of this experimental study was to investigate the block shear fracture behavior and curling effect on a single shear-bolted connection in thin-walled carbon steel fabricated with four bolts. The specimens that fail by block shear were planned to have a constant dimension of the edge distance perpendicular to the loading direction, bolt diameter, pitch, and gage. The main variables of the specimens were plate thickness and end distance parallel to the loading direction. A monotonic tensile test was carried out for the bolted connections, and the ultimate behaviors, such as the fracture shape, ultimate strength, and curling, were compared with those that had been predicted using the current design specifications. The conditions of curling occurrence in terms of plate thickness and end distance were also investigated, and the strength reduction due to curling was considered.
