RF Characteristics Analysis of Smart Braille Block for Location Identification in Subway Station (지하 철도역사에서 위치확인을 위한 스마트 점자블럭의 RF 특성 분석)

  • The location information of the people or mover is essential for supporting various smart mobility services in railway stations which are mostly underground. For this purpose, a smart braille block is proposed to identify the location of the mover of the people. In this paper, the frequency characteristics of each material of the upper and lower parts of the braille block are analyzed to examine the appropriate materials for railway history. In addition, the guidelines for actual manufacturing were derived by analyzing the separation distance between two RF sensors in the smart braille block. As a result of analysis through the characteristic analysis in this paper, after selecting the material suitable for the construction site when the smart braille block is applied, the performance change of the RF system, especially the antenna that greatly influences the RF performance, must be reviewed in advance. It seems to have to be applied after checking through.

  • Top-down Method of basement construction technique has been applied for building of the deep basement car park the close proximity of priceless historic buildings in LONDON. Numerical analysis for the prediction of ground movement of the surrounding buildings was performed in order to compare the field data at the various stages of excavation and support. The predicted results from the elasto-plastic analytical method were compared with the observed data and the agreement is very satisfactory. It may be concluded that the system of diaphragm wall supported by the permanent base slabs (Top-Down Method) was proved to be the most effective technique in terms of reducing any critical damage to the surrounding buildings.

  • 본 연구에서는 재실자의 밀도가 높은 지하상가는 공간의 특성상 화재가 발생할 경우 다량의 유독가스의 발생 및 연기의 이동경로와 인간의 피난경로 일치로 인하여 피난안전에 큰 위험성이 있다고 사료된다. 이에 지하철 역사와 연결되어 있는 지하상가를 선정 후, 일본 피난안전성평가수법과 FDS(Fire Dynamic Simulator) 및 SIMULEX를 이용하여 비교 분석을 하였으며, 그 결과, 화재발생 후 6분이 경과 시 위험한 것으로 판단되었다. 그에 대한 대책으로 자연 배연구를 설치하여 시뮬레이션 수행을 한 결과 가시도확보 및 각 출구에서의 온도가 하강하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The characteristics of train-wind in the underground shopping center(UGSC) connected to subway station is investigated by field measurement for the case of train movement such as arrival and departure, etc. Also air curtain installed at the pass way between underground shopping center and subway station were considered as the parameter in order to analysis the effect on indoor air quality and thermal condition. The measurement data such as velocity, relative humidity, wind-pressure were plotted as quantity variation with time scale. The train-wind affected wind velocity, air pressure and relative humidity at the connecting area of underground shopping center and subway station, and the variation was about 4.5 m/s, 8%, 40 Pa. Also the result showed that the air curtain is not proper to reduce influence of train-wind

  • 본 논문에서는 USN 기반 센서 정보수집기술과 지능형 영상분석기술을 이용하여 도시철도 역사와 지하도 상가의 유해가스, 미세먼지 등 지하공기 상태를 실시간 모니터링하고 분석할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위해 TinyOS를 탑재한 저전력 프로세서 시스템으로 IEEE 802.15.4 표준 무선 네트워크 통신을 지원하는 센서 노드를 구현하고, 이 센서 노드로부터 수집된 데이터를 이 기종 네트워크와 연동하여 상위 시스템에 전송할 수 있는 USN 게이트웨이 노드 시스템을 구현한다. 이러한 네트워크 시스템을 통해 수집된 센싱 데이터는 중앙의 DB서버로 취합 및 저장되도록 구현되며, 최종적으로는 어플리케이션 서버를 통해 공중이용시설의 이용자나 철도 안전 모니터링 요원에게 실시간으로 정보를 서비스할 수 있도록 구현된다.

  • Particulate matter (PM) is one of the major indoor air pollutants especially in the subway station in Korea. In order to remove PM in the subway station, several kinds of PM removal system such as roll-filter, auto-washable air filter, demister, and electrostatic precipitator re used in the air handling unit (AHU) of subway station. However, those systems are faced to operation and maintenance problems since the filter-regeneration unit consisting of electrical or water jet parts is malfunctioned due to the high load of particulates and the filter material needs periodic replacement. In this study, we surveyed the particle removal systems in order to develop the new system of particle removing can be adopted in the current AHU of subway station.

  • This paper presents the design case of the 3-arch tunnel under Daejeon railroad station building. The original construction method was the underpinning method supported by pipe-roof, but it was changed to the mined tunnelling method because of the complex construction condition and the safety problem. This 3-arch tunnel has a width of 28 meters and a height of 10 meters. Overburden is only 23m and the ground around the tunnel is a weathered rock. The allowable settlements for the station building and some railroads are very strict. Accordingly, various measurements for the tunnel stability and the settlement minimization was applied and they were reviewed by 2-D and 3-D numerical analysis.
