The research focus on participation degree and competence in sports and their social support. Moreover, it focus on how the sports participation degree and sports competence affect social support. For the research, 414 middle school students were collected and the t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and the multiple regression analysis was carried on. As a result, boys participated in sports more than girls, but girls show more positive effect on social support from friends than boys. According to grade, the sophomores participated in sports highly, and juniors stronger than sophomores, seniors in case of sports competence and social support from teachers. Scholastic achievements show positive effects on all social support, Income show positive effects on participation frequency, sports competence and social support from friends. Secondly, sports participation degree did not affect the social support directly but affect indirectly through sports competence.

We compared and analyzed the relationship between vote intention, vote expectation, and party approval rate using the 19th Presidential Election and the 7th Nationwide Simultaneous Local Election (Regional Local Government Election) poll data. The case study provides an alternative method of predicting the winner using vote expectation and a party approval rate that can improve the accuracy of election forecasting.

한계상태설계법이 지반공학에 도입되었다. 하중과 지지계력수법 그리고 우로코드로 되어있는 본 설계법에서 신뢰성이론을 토대로 한 전자는 북미지역에서, 반통계론적인 후자는 최근에 통합된 유럽연합에서 오래동안 연구 후 채택하였다. 본 논문은 이러한 설계법을 방법론적으로 검토접근하며 다른 선진국의 연구활동을 알아봤으며, 하중과 지지력계수설계법에서 관입말뚝에 대한 지지력계수를 결정하는 합리적인 방법론을 제시하는데 있다.

This Paper applied a simple strength parameter averaging method to double layered systems consisting of the strong sand layer overlying the soft clay deposit. This study derived a formula which defines a critical depth as the strength parameters, and used the correction parameter, $\alpha$ to reduce an error of the strength parameter averaging method. The results of the method were presented in the form of dimensionless charts and were compared with the results of several solutions proposed by Satyanarayana & Grag, Sreenivasulu, and Meyerhof & Hanna. The results of the proposed method coincided with the method of Meyerhof & Hanna and the results obtained from FLAC. But the Satyanarayana & Grag method and the Sreenivasulu method overestimated the bearing capacity. Consequently, the bearing capacity of foundation on sand layer overlying soft clay layer can be approximately estimated by using the proposed dimensionless charts.

The purpose of this study is to provide necessary information to understand characteristics of vocational high school students and to enhance academic engagement through social support of teachers, leading to help research of teaching and learning strategy. A survey was conducted on 990 engineering major students attending 11 vocational high schools in Seoul metropolitan, Chungcheong, Jeolla, Kyeongsang and Kangwon regions. A questionnaire consists of measurement tools for the academic engagement (21 questions) and the social support of teachers (25 questions). The findings of this study are as follows: First, it is found that the level of students' academic engagement was high. But it appears that the students showed low engagement of emotion compared with that of behavior and cognition. There was no level difference according to gender, but there was a considerable difference according to a school year. The first year students' level of engagement was higher than the second and the third year students' in terms of cognition and emotion. Second, it shows that the level of the teachers' social support was normal, which was in the order of appraisal support, instrumental support, informational support, and emotional support. Especially, the level of appraisal support and instrumental support was most. Third, there were correlation and explanation between students' academic engagement and teachers' social support. Moreover, the result that teachers' emotional support has high correlation and explanation in qualitative terms of academic engagement support the importance. Therefore, it is concluded that the social support of teachers can make an positive influence on improving the academic engagement of students and provide students with adaptability and satisfaction with their school life, which may give students a positive effect in emotional development, self-formation, and complement.

수소 에너지는 인류가 당면해 있는 대체에너지와 환경문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법 중 하나이며, 전 세계적으로 수소 제조/정제 기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 수소 제조/정제 분야 중 분리막에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 분리막 지지체로 는 SUS, Ceramic, Nikel 등의 소재들이 사용되고 있지만 본 연구에서는 수소취성이 강하고 제조원가가 낮으며 가공 성형하기 쉬운 Nikel을 사용하였다. 분리막 지지체는 Nikel Powder 전처리 과정을 통해 불순물을 제거하였으며, 몰드에서 가압 성형 후 기계적 강도 증가를 위해 고온에서 짧은 시간동안 소성 하였다. 분리막의 $H_2$ Flux 향상을 위한 방법으로 지지체 표면 조도 증가를 위해 polishing을 하였다. 표면 조도 특성은 polishing 조건에 따라 많은 차이점이 있기에, 다양한 조건에서 polishing한 분리막 지지체의 표면 조도를 SEM 분석을 통하여 지지체로서의 $H_2$ Flux향상에 어떠한 영향이 있는가를 알아보았다.

Vibrations in the pipe system trigger fatigue-related issues and lead to fatal other problems caused by pipe damage. There are numerous studies to analyze and reduce the cause of pipe vibration, among which a small number of studies are being conducted on pipe vibration reduction using friction supports. The study of friction supports, however, focused only on predicting and evaluating the performance of the friction supports and seldomly considered the design perspective of the install location of the supports. Therefore, this study intends to suggest the optimization process for finding the best installation region of friction support to attenuate the vibration of entire piping system. The optimal position of the friction support is predicted only by linear analysis to guarantee optimization efficiency in the design process. The designed friction support location is verified by time domain analysis.

The purpose of this study was to identify relationship among the depression, social support and quality of sleep in elderly insomnia patients. A total of 143 patients with insomnia diagnosed according to DSM-IV criteria. Quality of sleep, depression, and social support were measured using a self structured questionnaire and participant's medical records were reviewed for obtaining their clinical information. Quality of sleep was positively associated with depression(r=.255, p<.05), and negative correlation with social support(r=-.270, p<.001). The significant factors for quality of sleep were information support(${\beta}=-0.406$, p<.05) and affectionate support(${\beta}=-0.525$, p<.05). These factors explained 13.2% of the variance in quality of sleep. The elderly patients suffering the insomnia need the nursing interventions considering information support and affectionate support in order to improve sleep quality.

This study is to investigate the mediating effects of social support on the relationship between acculturative stress and mental health of multicultural youth. The results of the study were as follows: 1.573 of the 4th(middle 1) to 6th(middle 3) of the multicultural youth panel were analyzed by AMOS 22.0. First, the acculturation stress of multicultural youths had a positive effect on mental health. Second, acculturation stress of multicultural youths had a negative effect on social support. Third, social support of multicultural youths had a negative effect on mental health. Fourth, social support of multicultural youths had a mediating effect on the effect of acculturation stress on mental health. This result shows that the stress of multicultural youths in the process of adapting to the dual culture negatively affects social support, and this social support has a positive effect on the mental health of multicultural youths.

In this study, the reference values for the internal forces of the rail supports caused by a wheel load, a unit vertical displacement, a unit end rotation in examination of the serviceability of concrete slab track bridge were obtained. In analysis, the analysis models of which the rail was continuously and discretely supported by elastic springs were used. The internal forces of the rail supports from the analysis were compared with the results provided in the DS 804 regulations and agreed with well. In addition, the effects of the space between the rail supports and the stiffness of fastener on the internal forces of the rail supports were investigated.
