Cadastral Science has not been evaluated as an independent discipline according to Code of Research Fields of Korea Research Foundation. The purpose of this study is to find the problems of knowledge classification of Cadastral Science and suggest method of improvement. For the studying, analyzes the definition, objects of research, educational system and curriculum of Cadastral Science. Besides, investigates the condition of Cadastre classification on Code of Research Fields, DDC and KDC. This paper suggests that Cadastral Science can be restructured to the new Interdisciplinary Studies and moved to the upper division. The items of division and subdivision can be also added.

This study analyzes the intellectual structure in domestic research of the Housing field, by utilizing text mining technique. Unlike the existing research that mainly uses text clustering in statistical analyses to identify subject specialties, core authors, and relationships between research areas, this study applied author profiling and factor analysis. To supplement the analysis of intellectual structure generated by text mining, and to perform evaluation on intellectual structure itself, two professionals in the housing field were interviewed. The intellectual structure, generated through text mining, was evaluated and showed its division of valid research areas that is slightly different from the traditional intellectual structure in the housing field.

This study investigated the intellectual structure of records management and archives field in Korea and America using author cocitation analysis. Major journals in the field from 2000 to 2004 are used to select frequent cited authors. Cocited authors are analyzed in details by means of multi-variate statistical techniques such as multidimensional scaling. To the analysis of this intellectual structure, main research topics in Korea were laws and policies related to records management and archives whereas information technology based electronic records management in America.

This study intended to make new suggestions by clarifying usefulness of analysis methodology for the intellectual structure of disciplines, which combines author co-citation analysis and author bibliographic coupling analysis. It also aimed to identify the recent research trend and key researchers recently doing research activities actively as well as the intellectual structure in the field of social welfare. It was found to be more efficient to conduct both author co-citation analysis and author bibliographic coupling analysis in order to identify traditional sub-areas of disciplinary subject or the research trend of actual researchers in examining the intellectual structure of a specific discipline.

The cadastral resurvey project has been planned for 19 years, from 2012 to 2030, which refers that now is at the beginning stage. The aim of a project was to correct the registration of cadastral register, which was not corresponding to the actual circumstances. As a national project, the government has been charged of this project to achieve the effective land management and protect the property rights of people, by changing analogue cadastral surveyed in 1910 to digital cadastral. On this paper, we focused on reinvestigating the principle of cadastral resurvey project and suggesting better solutions for problems, so as minimizing numbers of trials and errors in the project.

Intellectual capital is the driving force for the competitive advantage and durability of the public library. This asset consists of the library members' competences, the organizational structure constructed by the members, and the interrelationships among the people sharing the same interests. These are called human capital, structural capital and social capital in the respective order. The purpose of the study was to provide foundational information for the public library's intellectual capital assessment as well as creating an experimental assessment model. It analysed the three characteristics of the capital, which generated an assessment index. In addition, it identified the relationship between the components of the intellectual capital and performance were discovered through empirical study to improve the assessment system.

Korea's inspection of cadastral surveying value is carrying out based on cadastral law, and has to enter in cadaster after government office's final inspection of cadastral surveying of land alteration according to the request of land owner or the state. Therefore, government office has to inspect the value of surveying before arranging cadastral book, and has to confirm whether the surveying error is whithin the range of allowing one. If it is, a govenment office has to arrange the cadastral book according to resulting Value. This study investigates and analizes annual land alteration of Sungnam city and analizes the situation of government office's cadastral surving value, the number of inspectors, and equipments. As a result, this study shows the problem and provides effective basic materials, increases the efficacy of the state's cadastral surveying inspection, and minimiges land dispute.

In this study, the intellectual structure of Records Management & Archival Science in Korea was analyzed using document clustering, a widely used method of text mining, and document similarity network analysis. The data used in this study were 145 articles written on the subject of Records Management & Archival Science selected from five major representative journals in the field of Library & Information Science in Korea, published from 2001 to 2006. The results of cluster analysis show that the core subject areas are "electronic records management and digital Preservation," "records management policy and institution," "records description and catalogues." and "records management domain and education." The results of document analysis, which is more detailed than cluster analysis, show that "digital archiving," a specialized subject in digital preservation, plays a central role. The results of serial analysis, which proceeds according to a timeline, show the emergence of "archival services" as a new subject area.

The primary purpose of this study is to identify spatial distribution patterns of co-authoring activities in Korean cadastral science. The analysis showed that a small number of researchers played an essential role in the Korean cadastral co-authorship network. In particular, some authors not only had a significant influence on other nodes in the network but also served as intermediaries between researchers. Moreover, the distance between researchers influenced co-authorship decisions to a limited extent. This study differs considerably from previous studies in that it used spatial analysis techniques to identify spatial distribution patterns of co-authoring activities. However, this research is limited in that it applied only 2019 data to determine the spatial distribution pattern of co-authoring activities. We can overcome this limitation if we analyze the spatial distribution patterns of co-authoring activities using multi-year data in future studies.
