Prediction of Learning Flow, School Flow and School Support on Satisfaction and Learning Persistence in Engineering College (학습몰입, 학교몰입, 학교 지원의 만족도, 학습지속의향에 대한 예측력 검증)

  • The participants were 102 students with digital broadcasting and media major.. A hypothetical model proposed included learning flow, school support as predictors, and satisfaction and learning persistence as a criterion. The results of this study through multiple regression analysis indicated that learning flow and school flow predicted significantly on satisfaction. And school flow, school support, and satisfaction predicted significantly on learning persistence. In addition, satisfaction mediated between learning flow and learning persistence, and between school flow and learning persistence. A constructive foundation for providing learning strategies in the successful engineering education would be proposed on the basis of the current results of this study.

The Influence of Family Aggregation with Disabilities on Life Satisfaction: The Mediating Effect of Caregiving Burden (장애가족 가족응집성이 삶 만족에 미치는 영향: 부양부담 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family cohesion and burden of support on life satisfaction of disabled families and ultimately support the satisfied life of disabled families. The study investigated the factors that influence the life satisfaction of the disabled family through a questionnaire survey as a disabled family caring for a disabled family. As a result of the study, life satisfaction of families with disabilities was as low as 2.278 on a 5-point scale, and the burden of support was 3.432, indicating that they felt a relatively high burden of support. However, family cohesion was relatively good at 3.664, showing that support to lower the burden of support was needed to increase life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the researcher makes the following suggestions to increase the life satisfaction of disabled families. First, the need for support to alleviate the burden of caregivers for the disabled. Second, expanding support for people with disabilities receiving care. Third, there is a need to strengthen support for families with disabilities. However, as this study was conducted centered on Gyeonggi-do, there is a need for follow-up research as the study has limitations.

창업보육센터의 교육서비스품질이 교육만족, 조직문화 및 조직성과에 미치는 영향

  • 1990년대 후반 정부는 경기부양의 일환으로 창업보육센터(Business Incubatir: BI)를 전국에 설치·운영하도록 지원하였다. 창업보육센터를 통해 벤처기업이 스스로 자생력을 갖출 수 있는 시기까지 시설, 기술, 행정, 경영지원 뿐만 아니라 입주지원까지 다양한 지원 역할을 수행해오고 있다. 특히 창업보육센터의 교육프로그램은 입주업체들의 기업 성장에 있어서 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 이러한 창업보육센터의 교육프로그램이 기업 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 최근 조직문화에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 조직문화는 스타트업을 움직이는 심장이며 그 영향력은 실핏줄을 타고 회사의 가장 사소한 결정에까지 미친다. 조직문화마저 없다면 스타트업은 제품, 브랜드 무엇 하나 제대로 갖추지 못한 그저 꿈을 쫓는 집단에 지나지 않을 것이다. 본 연구는 창업보육센터의 교육프로그램 서비스품질 구성요인 인 유형성, 신뢰성, 반응성과 스타트업에게 중요한 원동력이 되는 실천중심설계가 교육만족, 조직문화 및 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보고 아울러 교육만족이 조직문화에 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구를 진행하고 가설을 검증함으로써 학문적, 실무적으로 유용한 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

An analysis of Structural Model for Graduates on the Influencing Factors of Job Suitability and Job Satisfaction (대졸자의 일자리적합과 직무만족 영향요인에 관한 구조모형분석)

  • So far the study on college graduates has been concentrated on employment and wages. But if college graduates get a job, this study want expanding to the study of the suitability of their level to the job or the job satisfaction. For this study, structural equation model was built up to verify the influencing factors on the job suitability and job satisfaction of college graduates by using data of '2007 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS)'. To put it concretely, job suitability and job satisfaction were analysed based on the leading factors such as vocational value of graduates and the participation of employment supporting program in university. Analyses showed that the vocational value has a positive influence on the job suitability and the job satisfaction as well as the participation of employment support program. And the participation of employment supporting program influenced positively on the job satisfaction and the job suitability while in work. Besides we found that the job suitability has a positive impact on the job satisfaction. These confirmed that the vocational value while in school is very important and plays an important role in the job suitability and the job satisfaction with their jobs while in work. Also those who have a higher vocational value take part in the various employment supporting programs and experience the job satisfaction and the job suitability while in work. Therefore we found that the various employment supporting programs play an important role for the graduates. Accordingly, the school authorities and job centers have to strengthen the value education for the enrolled student to plant a vocational value and improve and reinforce the employment supporting program in university.

Factors influencing family life-satisfaction among Korean adults: With specific focus on social support from spouse, trust of children and self-efficacy (배우자의 사회적 지원, 자녀에 대한 신뢰 및 자기효능감이 성인의 가정생활만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines factors influencing family life-satisfaction, focusing specifically on the role of spousal social support, trust of children and self-efficacy. Based on previous studies, two hypotheses were generated. A total of 857 adults (111 fathers and 111 mothers parents of elementary school students and 108 mothers and 108 fathers of high school students) completed a questionnaire consisting of self-efficacy scales (Bandura, 1995) and social support and life-satisfaction scales developed by the present researchers. LISREL analyses fully supported Hypothesis 1 and partially supported Hypothesis 2. First, spousal social support had a direct and positive effect on family life-satisfaction. Second, self-efficacy had a mediating effect between spousal social support and family life-satisfaction. Those respondents who received higher social support from spouse had higher self-efficacy, who in turn had higher family life-satisfaction. Third, trust of children did not have a direct effect on family life-satisfaction. Fourth, trust of children had a direct and positive effect on self-efficacy, which in turn had a direct and positive effect on family life-satisfaction. The results indicated that those respondents who had higher trust of children, had higher self-efficacy, who in turn had higher family life-satisfaction. Self-efficacy plays an important mediating role in increasing Korean adults' family life-satisfaction. This study reveal the importance of indigenous psychology in unraveling the factors influencing family life-satisfaction among Korean adults.

A Study of the Effect on End-User Satisfaction for the End-User Supporting Activities in Information Center (정보센터의 사용자 지원활동이 사용자 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Organizations are investing in information systems for an ever-increasing number of end-user tasks. Extracting benefit from these investments increasingly depends on supporting effective use or information center and satisfying information center users. Information center is information intensive and the use of advanced technology may support user for delivering an unique capabilities in an organization. Information center represents an important source which seems very well suited for end-users support investigation. This research explores the end-user support factors that correlate with user satisfaction in information center. To exam user satisfaction, information supporting, service reliability, and system capabilities were identified as potential predictors of end-user support satisfaction at information center. Three hypotheses have been tested with the survey or 252 end-users examines 18 potential end-user support factors such as information supporting, service staff attitude, and system capabilities at information center. Service quality gap between perceived Importance and performance for each support factor, is computed. The relationship between these service quality gaps and user satisfaction are tested. This study presents that the level of information supporting, service reliability, and system capabilities are significantly to user satisfaction, and it is influenced by the extent of service quality gap between perceived importance and performance for each support tactor.

Impact of Social Support on Job Satisfaction and Burnout in Fire Officers (소방공무원의 사회적 지원이 직무만족도와 소진에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of social support provided for fire officers on their job satisfaction and burnout. The subjects in this study were 251 male and female fire officers in the 119 fire centers located in Gangwon, Gyeonggi Province and Seoul. A survey was conducted from April 15 to May 12, 2013. As for data analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were made, and the level of statistical significance was all set at p<.05. The findings of the study were as follows: The social support provided for the fire officers had a significant correlation with their job satisfaction and burnout. The factors that affected their job satisfaction were social support from supervisors(${\beta}=-.469$) and social support from colleagues(${\beta}=.934$), which were the subfactors of social support. The factors that exercised an influence on burnout were social support from supervisors(${\beta}=-2.081$) and social support from colleagues(${\beta}=3.117$) as well, which were the subfactors of social support. The overall explain ability percentage of the two variables respectively stood at 31.1 and 21.1 percent. Given the findings of the study, it's required to grasp influential factors for the job satisfaction and burnout of fire officers in more detail, and the development of programs geared toward boosting their job satisfaction is necessary.

  • 본 연구에서는 사이버가정학습을 교사가 교실 수업과 사이버가정학습 시스템을 연계하여 운영함에 있어 어떤 요인이 사이버가정학습에 대한 학습자 만족에 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 기술수용모형을 기반으로 Y초등학교 5학년 학생들을 대상으로 6개월간 운영한 후 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 초등학생들에게 사이버가정학습 만족도는 지각된 유용성과 용이성에 의하여 결정되는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기주도적 학습 능력과 학습결과보상기능은 사이버가정학습을 긍정적으로 수용할 수 있는 유용성에 상당한 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 작용하는 것으로 분석되었다. 만족도에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상했던 교육적 효과, 콘텐츠 품질은 만족도를 직접적으로 유발시키는 본질적인 요인이 아님을 알 수 있었다. 학습지원기능, 시스템 안정성 및 편리성, 상호작용 등 시스템적인 기능이 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 요인들은 단지 콘텐츠의 품질을 향상시키는 효과를 가지며, 이 효과를 통해 교육적 효과를 강화시키는 역할을 수행하는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 학습을 지원하는 기능, 시스템 안정성 및 편리성, 선생님과 학생 또는 학생 간의 상호작용이 가능하도록 지원하는 모든 시스템적인 기능은 수강생의 만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치거나 만족을 이끌어 낼 수 있는 본질적이고 핵심적인 요인이 아님을 알 수 있다.

An Impact of Startup Business Performance by Entrepreneurs' Perceived Importance, Satisfaction, and Level of Meeting to Expectation over Government Startup Business Aid Programs (창업가가 인식한 정부창업지원사업 중요도와 만족도 및 기대충족도가 창업기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to look at the difference between the importance and the satisfaction with respect to government startup aid programs perceived by entrepreneurs to improve the effectiveness of government startup aid policy and verify the causal relationship between startup aid project and business performance. In this respect, this study aims to look at the impact of entrepreneurs' perceived satisfaction over government startup aid programs on startup business performance. Major study findings from this study are as follows. First, as a result of testing statistical significance of the difference between importance and satisfaction in startup education, facility/space, consulting, or fund support field, respectively in start-up assistance project, it appeared that there was a significant difference in all fields. In addition, fund support was the field that showed the biggest difference between importance and satisfaction. Second, the results of IPA (importance-performance analysis), which displays relative importance and performance of start-up assistance project on four quadrants so that entrepreneurs can evaluate which start-up assistance projects they think important and which projects they are satisfied with by themselves are as follows. Let us summarize the distribution of start-up assistance project on four quadrants in the first place. Facility/space support project is distributed in the 1st quadrant that requires ongoing maintenance; start-up funding program in the 2nd quadrant that requires concentrated improvement; consulting support project in the 3rd quadrant that requires limited use at low priority; and start-up education support project in the boundary between the 3rd quadrant that requires limited use and the 4th quadrant that requires rejection against unnecessary items. Third, the results from multiple regression analysis to identify the impact of satisfaction with government startup aid programs over business performance are as follows. As a result of analyzing the influence relationship between government startup aid program and financial performance, it appeared that satisfaction with facility/space had a positive (+) impact on financial performance. This suggests that the higher the satisfaction with facility/space, the higher the financial performance. As a result of analyzing the influence relationship between start-up assistance project and non-financial performance, it appeared that satisfaction with startup education had a positive (+) impact on non-financial performance. This suggests that the higher the satisfaction with startup education, the higher the non-financial performance.
