$H_\infty$ Controller Design for Discrete-time Linear Systems with Time-varying Delays in States using S-procedure (S-procedure를 이용한 상태에 시변 시간지연을 가지는 이산 선형 시스템에 대한 $H_\infty$ 제어기 설계)

  • This paper deals with the H$_{\infty}$ control problems for discrete-time linear systems with time-varying delays in states. The existence condition and the design method of the H$_{\infty}$ state feedback controller are given. In this paper, the H$_{\infty}$ control law is assumed to be a memoryless state feedback, and the upper-bound of time-varying delay and S-procedure are used. Through some changes of variables and Schur complement, the obtained sufficient condition can be rewritten as an LMI(linear matrix inequality) form in terms of all variables.

  • In general, due to the interactions among subsystems, it is difficult to design an decentralized controller for nonlinear interconnected systems. In this study, the model of nonlinear interconnected systems is studied via decentralized fuzzy control method with time delay and polytopic uncertainty. First, the nonlinear interconnected system is represented by an equivalent Takagi-Sugeno type fuzzy model. And the represented model can be rewritten as Parameterized Linear Matrix Inequalities(PLMIs), that is, LMIs whose coefficients are functions of a parameter confined to a compact set. We show that the resulting fuzzy controller guarantees the asymptotic stability and disturbance attenuation of the closed-loop system in spite of controller gain variations within a resulted polytopic region by example and simulations.

  • The waiting delays of users are inevitable in this policy since the services are not taken immediately upon requests but upon every scheduling points. An inefficient management of such delays makes m unfair service to users and increases the possibility of higher reneging rates. This paper proposes an leagued batching scheduling scheme which improves the average waiting time of users requests and reduces the starvation problem of users requesting less popular movies. The proposed scheme given intervals based on the league which reflect the disk partitions service patterns and user requests. Experimental results of simulations show that the proposed scheme improves about 18 percentage of average waiting time comparing with those of conventional methods such as FCFS and MQL.

  • As environmental vibration requirements on precision equipment become more stringent, use of pneumatic isolators has become more popular and their performance is subsequently required to be further improved. Dynamic performance of passive pneumatic isolators is related to various design parameters in a complicated manner and, hence, is very limited especially in low frequency range by volume of chambers. In this study, an active control technique, so called time delay control which is considered to be adequate for a low frequency or nonlinear system, is applied to a single chamber pneumatic isolator. The procedure of applying the tine delay control law to the pneumatic isolator is presented and its effectiveness in enhancement of transmissibility performance is shown based on simulation and experiment. Comparison between passive and active pneumatic isolators is also presented.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 지상 ATM망의 제어기법을 바탕으로 위성망으로 확대 적용할 수 방안으로 기존의 지상 ATM망의 막힘제어 기법중 ERICA스위치 알고리즘을 적용하였으며, 기존의 ERICA스위치 알고리즘은 지상과 위성간의 긴 전파지연시간을 고려하지 않아 위성내의 막힘을 알려주는 정보가 지구국까지 전달되어 다시 위성에 전달될 때 위성의 막힘 상태변화로 인한 손실이 발생할 수 있다 본 논문에서는 이러한 손실을 피하기 위한 제어구조에 대해서 다루었다.

  • Time Delay Control (TDC) method was proposed as a promising technique in the robust control area, where the plants have unknown dynamics with parameter variations and substantial disturbances are present. In this paper we concerns vibration control of rotor system using TDC. Based on the rotor system model, the TDC is designed, and the PD-controller is also designed for comparison. The simulation results show that the TDC is much robust than the PD-controller to the unknown dynamics with parameter variations and disturbances.

  • In this paper, We propose an efficient iteration decoding control method with variable iteration decoding for iteration codes decoding. As the number of iterations increases, the bit error rate and frame error rate of the decoder decrease and the incremental improvement gradually diminishes. However, as the iteration decoding number is increase, it require much delay and amount of processing for decoding. Thus we propose variable iteration control method to adapt variation of channel using Frame Error-Check indicator. Therefore, the CRC method requires the fewest iterations and less computation than the CE method and the SCR methods.

  • With the significant advances in mobile computing technology, there is an increasing demand for various mobile applications to process trans-actions in a real-time. When remote data access is considered in a mobile environment, data access delay becomes one of the most serious problems in meeting the deadline of real-time transaction. The mobile real-time transaction should be assured not only correctness of result of trans-action but also completion time of transaction. In this paper, we propose an optimistic concurrency control method to solve conflict among mobile real-time transactions. It minimizes influence on the cascade abort and delay of transactions that occur by disconnection and hand over in a mobile environment.

  • 자율운항선박(MASS)의 원격제어기술은 원격지에서 MASS를 원격제어자에 의해서 제어하기 위한 기술이다. 2023년도 현재 원격제어시스템의 통합구성이 완료되었고, 하반기부터는 해상실험을 통한 시스템 검증작업을 진행할 예정이다. 이러한 시스템 검증 이후에는 원격제어 시 발생할 수 있는 다양한 문제에 적극 대응할 수 있는 위기관리 기술의 개발이 필요하다. 현재 식별된 위기는 통신 두절에 따른 제어 불능, 간헐적 통신 불능에 따른 데이터 손실, 대용량 데이터 전송에 따른 제어명령과 제어응답 사이의 지연에 의한 선박조종의 어려움, 원격제어자의 인적오류에 의한 예상하지 못한 해양사고발생 가능성 등이다. 본 연구의 목적은 4가지 주요 요소(선박, 통신, 제어시스템, 원격 제어자)로 구성된 원격제어 시스템에서 발생 가능한 다양한 위기를 적극 억제할 수 있는 기법개발을 고찰하여 향후 원격제어기술 연구에 적용하기 위한 것이다. 특히, 통신 두절로 인한 암흑시간(blind time) 동안 원격제어 불능을 해결할 수 있는 위기대응 방법, 과도한 데이터 전송지연에 따른 위험수준 평가와 가시화 방법 등을 논의한다. 본 연구는 자율운항선박의 원격제어를 안전하게 지속가능한 상태에서 운영할 수 있는 기법의 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
