This study verified the effectiveness of brief family education programs for schizophrenic outpatients and their families in a community social welfare center, using a pre - post test control group design. The results of this study verified that the program was effective to improve knowledge about schizophrenia, reduce feelings of rejection and anxiety about patients, and help the patients to recognize their family emotional support. Therefore, it was found in this study that the brief family education program in the community social welfare center had a positive impact on schizophrenic outpatients and their families' treatment and rehabilitation. From the results of this study, it can be seen that this program positively effects the treatment and rehabilitation of schizophrenic patients and the stability of their families. The program can also be easily utilized as a community resource. Furthermore, the results of this study can be utilized as fundamental support to suggest the need for mental health programs in community social welfare centers. This study suggested the importance of increasing the number of mental health professionals working in this arena. There is also a need to create additional supportive programs for schizophrenic outpatients and their families. Follow up care also needs to be provided to families after completing family education programs. Continuous study is needed in these areas.

This study is a descriptive investigation study to identify the Convergence factors of the subjective health status, communication with medical personnel and drug misuse on medication adherence. The subjects of this study were 179 senior citizens who used community elderly welfare centers. Data were collected from January 13, 2020 to January 17, 2020. Data analysis was performed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA. Post-Hoc Test Was performed using Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. The regression equation of this study explained 24% of medication adherence. Drug misuse(𝛽=-4.32, p=<.001) was the factor that had the greatest influence on the medication adherence, followed by the presence or absence of chronic disease (𝛽=-3.04, p=.003), marital status (𝛽=2.64, p=.009), and communication with medical personnel (𝛽=2.26, p=.025 ) in that order. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a convergence system of medication adherence for the elderly using community welfare centers.

Objective : The study is to investigate current state of leisure activity in people with stroke (including leisure activity that people with stroke participate and hope, the reason why people with stroke paticipate in leisure activity, the cost that spent in leisure activity, and leisure activity satisfaction) on community rehabilitation center. Method : Frequency analysis were performed with the SPSS 12.0 statistics package program. Result : First, the findings showed that leisure activity participated most of people with stroke disabled appear as 'swimming', and appear sequence 'gate ball', 'yoga', 'energy gymnastics' on sports leisure activity. Second, the findings showed that leisure activity costs are fifth thousand won a month on average, most of people with stroke experienced satisfactory state in leisure activity. Third, the findings showed that leisure activity appeared to satisfaction 63.1% people with stroke disabled used the community rehabilitation center. Conclusion : First, The community rehabilitation center must develop leisure activity for people with stroke. Second, Leisure activity needs to support financial affairs. Third, leisure activity need professor for body function improve. Fourth, leisure activity must participates with the community sociaty.

The purpose of this study is to find developing way of community welfare aimed community-initiative by analyzing differential perception of citizen-initiative between social workers and community members. For this purpose, this study did a difference analysis on self-rating result of importance and difficulty in 59 statements about the citizen-initiative. Participants were 10 social workers in charge of community center over 2 years and 10 community members joined in community group over 2 years. The results are as follows. Differential perception between social workers and community members appeared both importance and difficulty. Especially, differential perception in difficulty was bigger. The statements that social workers as well as community members answered high level of difficulty were related with securing budget and external financial support. As the analysis of categorized statements, the differential perception in 'Goal and responsibility' and 'Democratic system' in procedural aspects were statistically significant. Based on these results, this study presented practical suggestions to make consensus about citizen-initiative in community organization.
