A Study on the Dining Out Consumption Behavior of Working Women Based on Lifestyle - Focused on Daejeon City - (라이프스타일에 따른 직장여성의 외식소비행태에 관한 연구 - 대전지역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze dining out consumption behavior of working women based on their lifestyle. To do this, demonstrative research was conducted on studying how the behavior of working women differs according to their lifestyle. The questionnaires developed for this study were distributed to 350 working women living in Daejeon City. A total of 310 copies of the questionnaire were used for analysis, and the statistical analysis was completed using SPSS(ver 12.0) for descriptive analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis. A total of 4 factors were generated by factor analysis: Financial technology style, pursuit of dining out style, pursuit of popularity style, pursuit of brand style. The result of analyzing the difference between the consumer behavior by lifestyle of working women showed there were significant differences in 5 factors except time required for meal. To sum up, lifestyle of working women plays an important role in dining out consumption behavior. Therefore, marketing strategies about demographic characteristics and dining out consumption of working women are urgently needed.

  • Local freight forwarder's circle is suffering worsening profitability and insecure employment from over-competition which caused by a saturated local logistics market. It is emerging UN procurement market for local freight forwarders. However it is needed to study on successful entry, market status and supporting measures from government and research institute. Currently there are no national research data of UN procurement market in logistics sectors but as per the writer's experience and viewpoint to UN bidding, it would seem that appropriate measures should be made such as government's enhanced support for overseas advancement, price competitiveness, building global network and development of education program for trainees associated with current overseas internship program by government.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze objectively customers' connotative meanings dependent on show window display types in optical shops. Methods: This survey was conducted on optometry students in Seoul in their 20's. We collected examples of the show window displays in Korean optical shops and deduced their representative types. After drawing out connotative meanings by the semantic differential method, we determined the connotative meanings correspondent to each show window display types by using a questionnaire and statisticl analyses. Results: Respondents chose 'clean and simple', 'luxury and simple', and 'folksy and practical' as connotative meanings of open-type, small amount-type, mass amount-type and commercial-type show window displays, respectively. Conclusions: Analyzing induced connotative meanings and correspondents' preference, we think that the small amount-type show window is the most appropriate display for college students consumer group.

  • In proposing the concept of flow which focuses on experiencing the sites visited by Korean wave tourists as induced by drama or movies, this paper investigated role of involvement variables for Korean wave tourists in influencing flow construct of film sites. The involvement of Korean wave was found to operate as a mechanism by which challenge, skills, focused attention on site might be more organized or more actively experienced. This recognizes that there is clearly a need for making the FIT sites exposed much by any mix of various media. This study showed that challenges and skills influence enjoyment as output factor of flow film site visitors are assumed to participate the roles of film characters, experiencing the places and atmosphere. The degree of visitors' reflections in the film optimizes awareness of flow experiences on the site. Therefore, it is necessary to provide more detailed experiential program on the film sites with the wide variety of flow-related contents in the film.

The Impact of Chinese Cultural Dispositions on the SNS eWOM Behavior (중국소비자의 문화성향이 SNSs 구전행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigate the impacts of Chinese consumers' cultural dispositions on the WOM behaviors in SNS. Specifically, cultural dispositions in the individual-level, collectivism and uncertainty avoidance, were examined as potential predictors of eWOM behaviors in SNSs. Hypotheses are tested with a sample of 164 university students in Shanghai, China. The results of the structural equation analysis reveal that chinese consumers' collectivism in the individual-level positively affects the opinion seeking behavior. And chinese consumers' uncertainty avoidance in the individual-level positively affects the opinion seeking behavior and negatively affects the opinion giving behavior. Lastly, the opinion giving behavior positively affects the pass along behavior. Theoretical and managerial implications for Internet marketers in China were presented and discussed.

  • This research was conducted to explore the factors that cause medical tourists' dissatisfaction, and find ways to solve the tourists' problems by researching on the relationship between the service recovery and the failure of medical services. Also, the research has put more emphasis on establishing marketing strategies that enable Japanese medical tourists to actively visit Korea, and finding out the effects that the medical tourists satisfaction and trust have on their behavioral intentions, recommendations, and positive feedbacks. The summary of the research analysis results as follows. First, the service recovery after the service failure has positive influences on the medical tourist's satisfaction. Second, the service recovery has proven its positive influences on the tourists' trusts and behavioral intentions. Third, the satisfaction of the service recovery has built the mutual trust between the tourists' and the medical center, and this has positive influences on the customer's behavioral intentions. Finally, the research was conducted to analyze the moderating effects on the relationship between the service recovery and the recovery satisfaction. It was found that the medical service failure recognition type has proven no moderating effects.

  • This study organized various perspectives on the scope of arts management in terms of business management based on bibliographical speculations and statistical data. Management of arts such as performance art involves organizational management, human resources management, marketing and financial management. However arts management needs a new perspective in terms of access to specific academic area of arts while it can be approached in a derivative perspective of management theories. For arts include professional areas that need aesthetic perspective and interpretation of aesthetic history. As art market were opened where active international exchanges have been made over the past ten years, a new strategic approach in management is needed for major international arts markets such as the U.S.A., Europe and China. Such international arts markets involve international auctions markets, international Biennale, international art fair and overseas advance of galleries. First, we need strategic approaches such as nurturing star artists. Second, large-scale exhibition planning of artistic works from world-famous museums or art museums should be developed.

  • This paper takes a close look at technology related services of e-Commerce companies from the viewpoint of B2C customers. The goal is to determine at which specific points of the customer purchase journey changes should occur, to address consumers' personal needs more effectively. All ten technologies examined fall into one of the following steps of the customer purchase journey: Decision Making, Payment Methods, and Delivery. AHP was utilized to clarify the preferences of millennials from Germany and Korea. The findings show that factors such as country of origin and gender had an impact on the preferences of the survey participants. In case of Germany, women replied that a change in Payment Methods would lead to significant enhancement of their shopping experiences, whereas men favored Decision Making. As for Korea, both genders stated that Decision Making should be the focus of marketers' efforts. One of the main findings was that participants from Germany and Korea exhibited different tastes in the use of technologies. Germans preferred functional technologies, whereas Koreans favored technologies which are more engaging and entertaining.

  • As Chinese luxury consumption is rapidly expanding and dominant in global luxury market, it becomes very critical to understand Chinese consumers' luxury consumption pattern. Under this circumstance, this study empirically tested the impacts of Chinese consumers' perceived service quality of luxury stores and extended self of luxury on luxury purchasing intention. The result of this study is as follows. First of all, Chinese consumer' perceived service quality of luxury store and extended self of luxury have positive impacts on luxury purchasing intention. However, Chinese consumer' extended self of luxury has partial interaction impact on luxury purchasing intention. From the results, to promote Chinese consumers' luxury consumption, marketers must improve the service quality of luxury store and extended self of luxury. This research not only enrich theoretical knowledge about Chinese consumers' luxury purchase behavior, but also assist marketer to develop luxury marketing strategies in China.

  • The national boundary's meanings turn to weak according to advent of Global enterprises. The place for design a product and marketing are separated to actual market. R&D is to the area where the knowledge activity is well, and low skilful product assembling is to the place the low wage is acceptable. It shows that the importance of net work structure. From early 90's, production system is diversified to markets where with the consumer as the central as multifarious items and creation new demands through consumer's participation into manufacturing process. This phenomenon show that logistics structures adapt to demand of technical variation, and the development of e-business with VAN(:value added network) and EDI(:Electronic data interchange) prove it. This study tried to analyze utilitarian assay about systems those land, sea, air logistics through documents research, and this study also present the direction of logistics system of airline company and goal of development on the based to the model of domestic airline company accordingly.
