The Effects of Transformation Leadership and transactional leadership on Organizational Performance: Moderating Roles of Self-efficacy and Job Satisfaction (변혁적 리더십과 거래적 리더십이 조직성과에 미치는 영향 : 자기효능감과 직무만족의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of leadership types and self-efficacy, job satisfaction on organizational performance. The hypotheses were suggested and data analyses were performed to verify these hypotheses. Data gathering were performed by self-administered questionnaires on the samples of 423 mechanical fields employees in Busan & kyongnam. The results of structural model exhibit that transformational leadership, transactional leadership was positively related to elf-efficacy. And it was also found that self-efficacy, job satisfaction was positively related to organizational performance. Expecially, it showed self-efficacy, job satisfaction as a mediator on the relationships between the leadership types and organizational performance.

A Perceptual Mapping of Coffee Shop Brands and Preference Attributes (선택속성에 따른 에스프레소 커피 전문점의 포지셔닝에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the competitive positions of five coffee shop brands(i.e., Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Hollys, Angelinus, and Tom N Toms) in Korea. For this study, data were gathered from the residents of Seoul, Busan and Daegu from September 22 to October 11, 2009. In order to accomplish the purpose of the study, MDS was utilized to investigate differences in customer's perception of the position of five coffee shop brands. The results of positioning analysis showed that there was competitive relationship between Hollys and Angelinus. Also, the positioning of Tom N Toms was close to Hollys and Angelinus. However, Starbucks, the market leader, and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, the market follower, were their own identity in their brands. According to the result of the study, it will be helpful for the marketers who need to establish a marketing strategy. Future studies could include other various variables and more thorough investigation into them.

Teacher-Librarians' Perceptions of Their Roles (초등학교 사서교사의 역할 인식에 관한 연구)

  • This exploratory study reports how teacher-librarians perceive their roles as practitioners in school library media programs. Conducted within the framework of qualitative research, the study employed a focus group interview (Morgan 1997) with five teacher-librarians at elementary school level in Seoul. The findings suggest: (1) the roles of teacher-librarians are influenced a great deal by many factors in educational systems; (2) there is no consensus on how to define and perform their role as teachers; (3) there seems to be increasing emphasis on their program administrator's role; (4) there is no consensus on prioritizing the five roles suggested by the AASL (2009), but all the participants agreed that the leader's role is most crucial for the success of pursuing the rest of the roles, and (5) there seems to be no clear boundaries as teacher-librarians perform their roles. Putting all the results together, the researcher was able to conclude that teacher-librarians are frequently asked to be flexible and negotiable and have great burden in the affective, cognitive, and physical realm for the roles imposed and expected of them.

웹사이트 접근성 자동화 평가 도구의 개선 방안에 관한 연구

  • 노인 인구의 급격한 증가와 인터넷을 통한 정보획득의 보편화로 인하여 웹 접근성의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 웹 접근성이란 "경제적, 지역적, 신체적, 사회적 한계로 인해 정보서비스를 받기 어려운 자들에 대한 정보 통신망의 자유로운 접근과 이용" 을 의미한다 정부기관이 선도하여 웹사이트를 통해 보다 편리하고 좋은 서비스를 국민에게 제공하려는 전세계적인 노력에도 불구하고 장애인이나 노인들에게는 아직도 웹사이트의 접근이 용이하지 못한 실정이다. 이는 웹 접근성의 문제를 발생시키는 근본 원인 중 하나인 웹 접근성(Web Accessibility)에 대한 개념 이해 및 현재 사용되는 웹사이트의 접근성 만족 유무를 정확하게 평가할 수 있는 평가 방법의 부재에 기인한다. 현재까지 웹 접근성 평가는 표준 평가항목인 W3C의 웹 접근성 지침(Web Contents Accessibility Guideline 1.0, 이하 WCAG 1.0)을 기반으로 만들어진 자동화 평가도구를 이용하여 대부분 이루어져 왔다. 자동차 평가도구를 이용한 웹 접근성 평가 방법은 평가가 용이하고 평가결과의 정량화로 인해 연구의 객관성을 높일 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 선행연구와 실험을 통해 자동화 평가도구의 문제점이 지적되고 있다. 예를 들어 전문가가 직접 스크린 리더를 통해 계산한 접근성 오류와 자동화 도구가 계산한 접근성 오류와는 많은 차이를 보이고 있다. 기존 연구에서는 자동화 평가도구의 문제점을 보완하기 위해 전문가가 직접 평가하는 매뉴얼 평가방식과의 병행을 제시하고 있으나, 근본적인 문제점을 해결하고 이를 개선할 수 있는 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 "한국형 웹 콘텐츠 접근성 지침(TTAS.0T-10.0003)"을 기본으로 하여 "EuroAccessibilty Consortium" 에서 고려하고 있는 "testable statement" 으로 통합 보안한 접근성 체크항목의 재구성과 함께 "자연어 처리" 알고리즘을 적용하여 자동화 평가도구의 개선 방안을 제시한다. 아직까지 제시된 개선방안의 적용 및 검증이 이루어지지 않아 한계점을 가지고 있으나 자동화 평가도구의 개선방안에 대한 제안은 향후 연구의 기초자료로 활용 가능할 것이며 많은 후속연구를 유발할 것으로 기대한다.

  • Negligent accidents are often caused by risk factors of working environment at most construction sites and construction schedules are delayed as the workers' work location and construction progress are not figured out accurately, and this leads to a lot of loss. In this paper, with the object of solving the problems at construction sites, RFID portable device, active tag and wireless RFID reader to provide the status of workers which is based on location are designed in order to send information about the location of workers and work progress in real time to a personal RFID device. Also an application system to monitor workers' approaching to prevent accidents from vehicles and danger zones and to manage the real time location of workers is designed.

The Effect of Empowering Leadership on Work Engagement and Job Performance through Employees' Self-Efficacy and Belonging (임파워링 리더십이 구성원의 자기효능감과 소속감, 그리고 직무열의와 직무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The importance of empowering leadership has emerged, which inspires confidence and attachment to members' task capabilities through delegation of authority between leaders and members. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of empowering leadership on work engagement and job performance through self-efficacy and sense of belonging in construction companies. Hypothesis testing of 271 copies of the questionnaire from Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam areas was conducted using the structural equation model. First, in the order of information sharing and participatory decision-making, there was a significant positive effect on self-efficacy, whereas the lead and coaching factors were not significant. Second, it was shown that all 4 factors of empowering leadership had a significant positive effect on belonging. Third, the sense of self-efficacy and belonging had a significant positive effect on both work engagement and job performance.

A Location Recognition System of RFID Tag for Parking Control (주차관제를 위한 RFID 태그 객체의 위치 인식 시스템)

  • Recently route guiding system using GPS is spread widely. In the parking management system of complex mall, RFID is mainly used to control status of parking lots. However, in a case that a vehicle only with RFID tag enters into small market-populated district with service of parking lots, there is no parking route guiding system optimized with information of real tine status of parking lots and the system only with GPS can't provide a function of using real time status of parking lots. This paper proposes a location recognizing method of RFID tag object for parking control system to integrated several parking lots in the business district and database-linked route guiding system optimized for parking. The proposed location recognizing method makes the search of optimized parking route possible by abstracting decoding order of tag and antenna number and recognizing direction of tag linked with database. Ihe implemented system that is composed of RFID tag, reader, middleware, server, parking lot clients and mobile clients shows that the proposed method works well and it will be useful for integrated parking control system.

  • With increasing international labour in Korea, the perspective of foreign workers' maintenance and changes of origin while living and working overseas provides a new angle for leadership research. For the purpose to investigate the effect of leadership on the group of foreign workers, this study targeted Filipino workers in U and G city and explored whether authentic leadership predicts foreign workers' work engagement and retainment through the potential intervening effect of interpersonal trust. The empirical study utilized SPSS, and results proved that authentic leadership has no significant relationship to foreign Filipino workers' work engagement directly, but authentic leadership showed a negative effect on Filipino workers' turnover intention. The full mediation effect of interpersonal trust proves the value and importance of establishing trust relationships in retaining foreign workers.

  • 일반적으로 수자원가용량이라 하면 지표·지하·토양 등에 있는 모든 수자원의 양이라 할 수 있다. 정확한 수자원가용량의 평가를 위해서는 강수, 기온 등의 기상 예측의 정확도 확보가 우선되어야 하며, 지표 하에 보이지 않는 수자원의 양을 정확히 평가할 수 있어야 한다. 한국건설기술연구원은 2012년부터 세계기상기구(WMO, World Meteorological Organization)에서 수자원평가 부문 리더 역할을 수행하면서 회원국들에게 수자원가용량평가를 위한 '동적수자원평가시스템'의 개발을 제안하여 추진하였다. 그 결과, 동적수자원평가시스템(Dynamic Water resources Assessment Tool, DWAT)이 2017년 12월에 개발되었고, 2019년 5월에는 WMO 웹사이트 (https://public.wmo.int/en/water/dynamic-water-resources-assessment-tool)를 통해 193개 회원국에 보급되기 시작하였다. DWAT은 전 세계가 무료로 이용할 수 있는 수자원평가 도구로, 지하수, 용수이용 뿐만 아니라 지표수를 고려한 수자원계획 및 관리를 위해 중⋅소규모 하천 유역에 적용될 수 있다. 특히, 논 지역의 유출특성을 모의할 수 있는 모듈을 탑재하였으며, 고위도 및 고산지대의 수문학적 특성을 반영할 수 있는 융설 모듈이 포함되었고, 매개변수 최적화 기능도 포함되었다. WMO는 수자원분야 주요사업 중 하나인 "전지구 수문현황 및 전망 시스템(HYDROSOS, global HYDROlogical Status and Outlook System)" 사업을 추진하고 있다. 본 사업은 전지구 기상예보를 활용하여 주요 지점의 자연 유출량에 대한 현황과 예보를 수행하는 것을 목표로 한다. 2019년 6월 제18차 WMO 총회에서는 수자원분야 주요 사업인 HYDROSOS의 시범사업을 DWAT이 지원하는 것으로 의결되었다. 따라서 이러한 DWAT의 활용을 통해 대한민국의 수자원 평가 실무와 관련된 기술이 WMO 회원국에 지속적으로 보급될 것으로 판단된다.

Residents' Perception and Evaluation of New Ruralism Using IPA - Focusing on the Regional Leader Group in Gochang-gun - (IPA를 활용한 농촌다움에 대한 거주민의 인식 및 평가 - 고창군 지역 리더그룹을 중심으로 -)

  • This study measured the importance and satisfaction of the values related to 'New Ruralism' using the IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) technique by the rural leaders' group. In the result, the satisfaction value was evaluated lower in the importance of 'landscape and ecological resource conservation', 'settlement environment', and 'population' related items. On the other hand, the items of 'tourism resource management', 'landscape damage', and 'landscape and ecological resource conservation' showed high satisfaction. Therefore, the leaders' group of Gochang-gun perceived the importance of local tourism image, landscape damage prevention, settlement environment, and rural landscape in 'New Ruralism' management. However, the leaders' group valued lower in the items of population, ecological value and natural and historical tourist sites. This seems to be a characteristic of the leaders' group mainly engaged in agriculture. Through factor analysis, the six items excluded from the analysis were considered important factors in 'New Ruralism' in Gochang-gun through a review of previous studies. Still, the leaders' group of Gochang-gun did not recognize them as important items in the rural resource. However, these items will be able to contribute to the development of 'New Ruralism' in Gochang-gun, and it is necessary to improve the awareness of the leader group. Even if local governments or experts present an ideal goal for rural development, it is difficult to achieve the goals if there is a difference from the perception of residents. Therefore, it is important to understand the perception of 'New Ruralism' of the leaders' group who plays an important role in regional development projects.
