This study aimed to estimate the economic impact of the '2011 Seoul Motor Show' using a direct survey-based regional input-output(I-O) model. Based on the regional I-O table, Exhibition multipliers were derived with respect to output, income, employment, value-added and indirect tax. Attendees' survey was conducted to estimate per capita expenditure. The results of this study indicated that all attendees of '2011 Seoul Motor Show' generated 53.1 billion Won of output impact, 11.7 billion Won of income impact, 24.1 billion Won of Value-added impact, 2.6 billion Won of tax impact, and 1,030 part-time and full-time jobs throughout direct and indirect effects. Another result of this study was that output multiplier of the exhibition industry was similar with other industries, however, income, employment and value-added multipliers were relatively larger than those of other industries.

우리나라에서 원전관련시설이 어느 지역에 들어설 경우, 그 지역의 생산, 소득, 고용효과 및 산업구조의 변화 등 경제적 파급효과는 다른 지역에 비해 상대적으로 크다. 이 글에서는 우리나라 월성원전 지역과 미국의 필라델피아원전, 영국의 UKAEA원전, SSEB원전 지역 사례연구, 기타 여러 지역의 연구결과를 비교하였는데, 월성원전 지역이 상대적으로 지역발전에 큰 혜택을 주고 있는 것으로 나타냈다.

본 연구에서는 고부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 문화산업이 제주 지역 경제에 미치는 영향에 대한 파급효과를 보기 위하여 산업연관분석 기법 및 AHP 기법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그리고 제주문화산업에 대한 현황 및 문제점을 분석하여 Porter의 가치사슬 (value chain) 모형을 토대로 지역발전전략으로서 지식기반 제주문화산업의 육성방안을 제시하였다. 분석결과, 문화산업에 대한 투자가 지역경제에 소득유발효과, 고용창출효과 및 타 산업으로의 전?후방 연계효과 등이 강한 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 소득유발효과와 고용창출효과 등의 파급효과로 인한 제주지역 경제를 활성화시키기 위하여 기식기반 문화산업을 육성하여야 할 것이다.

This study aims to identify the impact of the logistics industry on the Korean national economy. To do this, we used a MRIO table provided by the Bank of Korea which includes inter and intra regional relationship of the production and consumption for 6 areas - the Seoul Metropolitan, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Jeonra, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam area, but an original MRIO table was recomposed of 29 sectors focused on logistics industry for the purpose of this study. we analyzed producing-inducing effects, supply-shortage effects and inter-industry linkage effects based on logistics industry by region and industry. As a result, the logistics industry has more supply-shortage effect rather than production-inducing effect and has a higher ripple effect on the automotive in Gyeongnam area and petrochemical industry in Jeonra area. In particular, the ripple effect of th Metropolitan logistic industry was far smaller than that of other areas, because the Seoul Metropolitan industry was identified as the primary and middle demand industry.

This paper studies the economic effects of port-liquid freight by focusing on Ulsan port and its regional economic effects. The direct industrial effects of port-liquid freight are analysed to be an increase in about 1billion dollars' worth of production of the regional port-logistic industry, an increase in about 0.22billion dollars' worth of value-added of the industry, and the creation of about 2,600 employment in the industry. Including the indirect effects, the total effects on Ulsan regional economy are estimated to be an increase in about 1.9billion dollars worth of production, an increase in about 0.51billion dollars' worth of value-added and an increase in about 6,442 employment.

The purpose of this study is to examine feasibility of the 'Master Plan of 2013 Slow Food Expo(2013 AsiO Gusto), Korea' and to analyze the following economic effect. To this end, we used existing data and statistics, and estimated the demand by means of survey for people's traveling and questionnaires for ordinary Koreans. For examining financial feasibility for hosting the Expo, BC ratio (Benefit-Cost Ratio) and NPV (Net Present Value) was applied. For estimating the economic effect following the Expo, the effect on all over the country and the Gyeong-gi province was analyzed, using the MRIO (Model of Regional Input-Output). Specifically, with the net effect of Expo, the economic feasibility test shows 1.04~2.15 BC ratio with 10% free admission, and 1.02~2.27 BC ratio in Finance analysis. Furthermore, the Expo feeds through Gyeong-gi (including Nam-yang-ku) regional economies with production induction effect, value-added induction effect, and employment induction effect. The amounts of regional effects are 373.6~738.7 billion won, 166.2~327.4 billion won, and 1,971~2,009 persons, respectively. Also, the "2013 Slow Food Expo, Korea" was analyzed profitable in general. Residents in Nam-yang-ju expects the Expo to bring vitalities into their hometown. The Expo is highly related to the positive economic effectiveness of Nam-yang-ju.

The regional infrastructure industries of Gwangyang City, the subject of this study, are Gwangyang Port and Gwangyang Steel Mill. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the regional economic ripple effects of the port logistics industry in Gwangyang City. In this study, a multi-stage approach using the RW and the LQ methodology using the national input-output tables in 2015 and 2019 is used to prepare the regional interindustry analysis chart in Gwangyang City, and an exogenous demand induction model that reclassified the port logistics industry was applied. Through this, the purpose of this study was to provide policy implications by figuring out the regional economic ripple effects of the port logistics industry quantitatively in Gwangyang City. As a result of the analysis, the industries with high production inducement effect and forward/backward linkage effect of the port logistics industry in Gwangyang City were analyzed as manufacturing, transportation, land and air logistics sectors. And the industries in which the added value inducement effect and the employment inducement effect were analyzed as an industry related to the service industry. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare support measures to foster the port logistics industry as a way to promote these industries and revitalize the local economy of Gwangyang City. To this end, it is desirable to improve policies and systems for the vitalization of the Gwangyang port maritime cluster and provide various policy support for the port logistics industry in Gwangyang City. This study is meaningful in suggesting policy implications for the regional economy of Gwangyang City based on the results of exogenous analysis of the port logistics industry in small and medium-sized cities. However, It seems that further studies related to this will be needed in the future.

목질계 바이오매스는 신재생에너지원에 비해 국내 잠재량이 가장 풍부한 에너지원 가운데 하나이다. 그러나 주요 공급원인 간벌목 부산물의 10%, 폐목재의 1/3 정도만 활용되고 있다. 따라서 향후 관련법제도 개선 및 지원을 통해 바이오매스의 에너지 활용도를 높일 필요가 있다. 목질계 바이오매스를 이용하여 에너지를 생산할 경우 잠재적 기여도는 2005년 신재생에너지 공급량의 29.4%에 달하며, 신재생에너지의 일차에너지 소비대비 2.13%에서 2.76%로 증가시킬 수 있는 잠재력을 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 전국 16개 시도별로 잠재되어 있는 목질계 바이오매스 생산 가능량을 추정하고 이를 바이오열병합발전소의 주연료로 이용할 경우 지역별 경제적 파급효과를 분석해 보았다. 그 결과 경기, 서울, 전남, 경북, 강원, 충남 등에서 파급효과가 크게 나타났다. 지역별 파급효과를 합할 경우 부가가치 파급효과가 15,736억원, 고용효과가 2,630명으로 나타났다.

This study aims to examine the ripple effect of the '119 Integrated Information System' for city disaster management on the local economy. The study was conducted in the area of Gyeongnam province, and the study method is the interdependence analysis based on the Input Coefficient drawn from Input-Output Tables in which Intermediary Transaction Tables drawn through RAS was taken advantage of to grasp the correlation among industries and regions in terms of the local economy, and the ripple effect of the changes of political exogenous variables on the local economy was divided to such elements as production, added value, and employment so as to attempt empirical analysis on the local economy system. To estimate the ripple effect on the local economy, three different amounts of the expected input were applied to the study respectively and the results are as follows: Some $28.7{\sim}42.4$ billion won for the production induction effect, some $7.5{\sim}11.4$ billion won for the added-value induction effect, some $103{\sim}157$ job openings for the employment induction effect, and some $3.8{\sim}5.7$ billion won for the income induction effect are expected to take place as the ripple effect on the local economy.
