This research investigates the pivotal role of AI-enabled technologies in vitalizing the local economy. Collaborating with a leading search engine company, we examine the direct and indirect of an AI-based location search service on the success of sampled 7,035 local restaurants in Gangnam area in Seoul. We find that increased use of AI-enabled search and recommendation services significantly improved the selections of previously less-discovered or less-popular restaurants by users, and it also enhanced the stores' overall conversion rates. The main research findings have contributions to extant literature in theorizing the value of AI applications in local economy and have managerial implications for search businesses and local stores by recommending strategic use of AI applications in their businesses that are effective in highly competitive markets.

PC와 스마트 디바이스가 보급화 되면서 현대인들은 온라인 활동이 많아지고 있다. 온라인상의 커뮤니티는 '육아여성'들이 사회적 고립을 벗어날 수 있는 새로운 기회이다. 삶의 질 증진을 위한 온라인 커뮤니티를 제공하고, 인터넷 속 카페로만 구성되어 있는 육아여성만의 공간을 앱 기반으로 확장시켜 위치기반서비스를 통해 실시간 소통과 가까운 주변 육아여성의 커뮤니티를 형성해 사용자들에게 편리함을 제공을 목표로 한다. 더하여 육아여성의 지역 경제 참여를 유도하여 소상공인에 도움을 주고 지역경제를 활성화한다.

The purpose of this case study was to analyze the promotion background, development process, business content and organizations of rural social enterprises in Japan and Korea, to examine the similarities and differences of the two countries in social purpose, independence of management, creation of regional economic cycle and administrative role, and to present policy tasks for development of social economy and social enterprise in rural area. the Policy tasks are as follows; construction of community-based social economy, social financial support strengthening, the empowerment of rural social enterprises and the efficient management of internet shopping mall for increase in sales.

본 연구의 목적은 한국형 녹색성장 협력 모델을 기반으로 한국의 대(對) 메콩지역 진출 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 메콩 유역은 중국의 운남성 지방, 미얀마, 라오스, 태국, 캄보디아, 베트남 등 6개국이 위치하고 있는데 이 지역은 세계 경제 침체에도 불구하고 높은 경제 성장률을 달성하고 있다. 이에 따라 세계 각국이 개발사업 선점을 위한 치열한 경쟁을 벌이고 있으며 일본, 미국, 중국이 발 빠르게 영향력을 확장하고 있다. 한국은 지난해 메콩 5개국의 외교장관을 서울로 초청하여 회담을 개최하여 메콩 지역 진출의 교두보를 마련하였으나 최근 세계 각국이 메콩 지역의 개발사업 진출을 위해 적극적으로 노력하고 있는 상황에서 선진국과 차별적인 경쟁우위를 살릴 수 있는 방안의 모색이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 2008년 이명박 정부가 제시한 신성장 패러다임인 녹색성장 모델과, 물관리 정책과 사업을 접목시킨 물과 녹색성장 공적개발원조 및 무나싱해(Munasinghe)의 지속가능한 경제(Sustainomics)가설을 이론적으로 고찰하여 대(對) 메콩유역 협력 방안 모델을 설계하였다. 이 지역이 급속한 경제 성장으로 전력수요가 증가하고 있고, 환경오염에 대한 우려를 잠식시키고 국가의 에너지 안보를 위해 높은 수입 석유 의존율을 낮춰야한다는 점 등을 고려해보았을 때 메콩 유역의 수력발전이 이 지역의 녹색성장을 위한 큰 동력이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 뿐만 아니라 홍수방재 효과, 전력 수출로 인한 소득 창출은 이 지역의 사회발전으로 이어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 그러므로 본 연구는 자금조달 방식, 외교적 접근, 기술적 접근, 제도적 접근 방식을 제시하여 단계적으로 대(對) 메콩유역 한국형 물과 녹생성장 ODA의 나아가야 할 방향을 모색해 보았다. 제시된 협력 모델을 기반으로 점차 한국이 메콩 유역의 수력발전산업으로 진출하고 더 나아가 이지역의 영향력을 확대하는 데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

This paper aims to clarify the change in industrial structure and industry itself, and makes suggestions for the industrial development direction at transitional periods in the Chungcheongbuk-do(province) region. Because profits of regional gross production in Chungcheongbuk-do region flow out of the region, basic industries must be brought up. For this phenomenon, main manufacturing must be developed for the industrial power of the next generation of high added values that combined with digital industry; the petrochemistry, semiconductor industry as major type of industry, and automobile industry as minor type of industry. Also for supporting industry, education service, health and welfare, research and development services that are knowledge-based service industries in Chungcheongbuk-do region, must be formated the network among corporations and constructed regional innovation system linked with educational institutions, precision chemistry industry and biology technology as major type of industry, and precision machinery and tools industry as minor type of industry.

This paper attempts to evaluate the local economy and the local economic development policy in Goryeong County and to propose some policy alternatives for local economic development. Goryeong County has a locational advantage, which is not just geographically proximate to Daegu, a large metropolis, but also connected directly to the national highway networks. This region can also be regarded as a rural area, in a sense that the primary industry still plays a more important role for the local economy than the secondary industry and the tertiary industry. However, it is problematic that the local economic development strategies of Goryeong are universal rather than strategic and systematic. In order to design an effective regional economic development policy, the policy makers are necessary to deliberately consider regional specificity and geo-political and geo-economic situations around the region. In addition, it is important to say that policy makers, particularly in rural regions, need to break from the fantasy of high-tech industries. In this context, I propose some region-specific and context-specific policy ideas, including the promotion of the agro-food cluster and the build-up of the em-industrial complexes specialized in mechatronics and transportation equipment manufacturing.

Korea has achieved a remarkable growth by pursuing externally-oriented growth policy since 1960s. That is, we imported raw materials and spare parts, manufactured them into products and exported them, which led to successful economic development. Therefore, our marine business has played an important roles as one of key industries. The development of marine business has contributed to efficient distribution and cost reduction in addition to production of added value and creation of employment creation, which improved external competitive power. In spite of economic importance of marine business, national perception on it is in general low and its developmental conditions are considerably poor. Therefore, this study aims to speculate the effect of Port-related business on regional economy using regional input-output tables.

80년대초 이후 기술혁신의 가속으로 중소기업에서도 기술변화에 대한 적응이 경쟁력의 유지를 위한 핵심과제가 되면서, OECD 국가는 중소기업에 대한 과학기술정보(科學技術情報)의 이전(移轉)을 촉진하는 정부지원을 확충하였다. 경제성과의 개선을 위해서는 기술혁신만이 아니라 기술혁신의 성과를 확산시키는 것도 중요하다는 인식으로 중소기업의 경쟁력향상에 기여하는 과학기술정보의 공급확대를 위하여 연구개발사업(硏究開發事業)에 대한 지원을 강화하는 동시에 중소기업에 대한 과학기술정보의 이전을 촉진하기 위하여 과학기술정보의 공급원(供給源)(대학, 시험연구기관 등)과 중소기업을 연결하는 다양한 중개(仲介)(촉매(觸媒))기관(機關)의 설립 운영을 지원하고 있다. 연구개발과 과학기술정보이전에 관한 과학기술공급원과 중소기업간의 인식의 차이를 해소하기 위하여 정보교환(情報交換)과 인적교류(人的交流)를 확대하고 과학기술공급원이 제공하는 지식을 중소기업이 이용하기 쉬운 기술로 변환하기도 한다. 이러한 기능을 중개기관이 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 중소기업 사업자와 신뢰관계(信賴關係)를 구축하는 것이 긴요하며, 기술변화를 인지 수용하도록 유도하는 초기단계에서는 중소기업의 네트워크를 통하여 접근하는 것이 효과적이다. 이러한 기술확산과정(技術擴散過程)의 특성으로 인하여 지역혁신체제(地域革新體制)의 구축과 기술혁신정책(技術革新政策)의 지역화(地域化)가 강조되고 있다. 최근에 통상산업부와 과학기술처도 기술혁신정책의 지역화를 시도하고 있다. 연구기반과 산업기반을 고려하여 지역별로 다양한 유형의 산학연 공동연구기반이 구축될 계획이다. 기술혁신정책의 지역화는 시도단계에 불과하며 효율적인 지역혁신체제를 구축하기 위한 여건도 불리하다. 선진국에 비하여 대학과 연구기관의 연구자원(硏究資源)에서도 현격한 차이가 있으나, 네트워크의 혁신성을 좌우하는 지식집약형 중소기업의 비중과 중소기업기술개발의 혁신성에서도 선진국에 비하여 절대열위에 있다. 이러한 불리한 여건을 극복하기 위하여 중소기업의 혁신현장에 밀착된 지역의 전문가집단이 지역경제의 비전과 지역산업의 특수성을 고려하여 지역연구개발사업(地域硏究開發事業)을 전략적으로 기획하고 효율적으로 추진하며, 기획 추진과정에 참여하는 지역대학 지역시험연구기관 지역산업단체 등이 구성하는 지역사회(地域社會)의 협의체(協議體)가 정보공유(情報共有)와 공동학습(共同學習)을 통하여 지역혁신체제의 형성을 주도하고 경쟁과 협력의 조화를 통하여 기술혁신을 가속시키는 지역사회(地域社會)의 규범(規範)과 문화(文化)가 정착되도록 노력하며 중앙정부는 지역연구개발사업에 대한 지원에서 투명하고 합리적인 평가기준을 제시하고 지역산업의 혁신성과에 의하여 지원을 차등화(差等化)하는 경쟁원리를 도입하여 지역사회의 합리적 의사결정을 유도해야 한다.

본연구의 목적은 경부고속철도역의 입지가 도시간 인구분포와 도시경제에 미치는 영향을 분석하 는 데 있다. 인구분포 결정식의 추정결과를 토대로 하여 고속철도의 건설에 따른 도시시스템의 변화를 살펴보면 대도시내 인구분산화가 이루어지면서 대도시와 중소도시간 인구불균등은 심화될것으로 예상된 다. 고속철도의 역사가 입지하는 도시의 경제활동이 증가한 점을 감안하면, 향후, 서울 , 대구, 부산등의 도시경제 수준은 상대적으로 열악해 지고 천안과 대전은 고속철동역 유치로 인하여 도시성장 기반을 구 축할 수 있을 것이다. 지역개발차원에서 수도권 남부지역에 고속철도역을 입지시켜 서울의 중추기능을 분산시킬 필요가 있다. 고속철도 개발을 통해서 수도권 남부지역을 중심으로 도시권이 형성되어 수도권 내 2대 공간체계가 개발된다면 서울도시권에 대한 기존의 개발압력을 줄이면서 수도권내 남부도시권은 천안 및 대전과 연계되어 광역적인 개발이 가능할 것이다.
