본 연구에서는 학습데이터의 빈도요소를 반영하도록 수정된 구조의 FMM 신경망을 소개하고, 이로부터 패턴 분류를 위한 지식 표현을 생성하는 방법론을 제안한다. 하이퍼박스 멤버쉽함수는 5종류의 퍼지 분할을 기반으로 설정한 구간에 대하여 소속정도를 반영하여 결정하며, 각 차원별로 특징범위의 폭과 빈도 요소로부터 가중치 값이 학습된다. 본 연구에서는 제안된 이론을 수화인식 문제를 대상으로 고찰하였다. 인식 시스템의 구성은 특징추출을 위하여 3차원으로 확장된 구조의 CNN 모델을 사용하였으며, 수화패턴 데이터의 표현은 모션 히스토리 볼륨(Motion History Volume) 구조를 기반으로 하였다. 6종류의 수화패턴 동영상으로부터 27개 특징요소를 추출하고 이를 사용한 FMM 신경망의 학습과정과 지식의 추출 과정을 실험으로 보이고 그 유용성을 고찰한다.

As creative economy gets attention, the capabilities of transforming creative ideas into intellectual property and utilizing it commercially have become important than ever before. Korea is lack of the capabilities of utilizing intellectual property compared to those of accumulating it. This paper focuses on the strategic implication of an injunctive relief, which has a far-reaching impact on firms' business strategies as well as national industrial competitiveness because losers in lawsuits are expelled from markets. It analyzes the Samsung-Apple global IP lawsuits about smartphones and tablet PCs, which have expanded into 9 countries since 2011 when the Apple filed the IP lawsuit against Samsung in the US for the first time. In particular, this paper analyzes the requirements to get the permanent injunctive relief in the lawsuits of intellectual property from reviewing the ruling in the court of the US in 2012 and draws some implications from the perspective of business/industrial strategies. This paper has some limitations in that the lawsuit are still ongoing and it is the first attempt to find out the clue that connects legal and strategic issues in the rulings. Regardless of the limitations, however, this paper expects to contribute to raising the issues as to the importance of harmonizing the capabilities of managing technology with law, in order to survive under the era of creative economy.

The segmentation of cartilage is crucial for the diagnose and treatment of osteoarthritis (OA), and has mostly been done manually by an expert, requiring a considerable amount of time and effort due to the thin shape and vague boundaries of the cartilage in MR (magnetic resonance) images. In this paper, we propose a fully automatic method to segment cartilage in a knee joint on MR images. The proposed method is based on a small number of manually segmented images as the training set and comprised of an initial per patch segmentation process and a global refinement process on the cumulative per patch results. Each patch for per patch segmentation is positioned by classifying the bone-cartilage interface on the pre-segmented bone surface. Next, the shape and intensity priors are constructed for each patch based on information extracted from reference patches in the training set. The ratio of influence between the shape and intensity priors is adaptively determined per patch. Each patch is segmented by graph cuts, where energy is defined based on constructed priors. Finally, global refinement is conducted on the global cartilage using the results of per patch segmentation as the shape prior. Experimental evaluation shows that the proposed framework provide accurate and clinically useful segmentation results.

In knowledge-based society, it is understood that the knowledge is an essential resources for effective management of the organization. Lately, knowledge management has been accepted by many organization as a new theory of management. But the problem is that people, a component of the organization tend not to open their own knowledge to others, but to keep seeking knowledge of others. It can be found in many research papers that there have been very little efforts for sharing knowledge among members of organization. The purpose of the study is to investigate the reasons for not sharing knowledge or ideas with others, to identify some cultural factors effecting their closed-minded attitude towards the sharing knowledge, and to find the solutions from the organizational culture.

In the modern management literature, knowledge has been recognized as a new strategic resource enabling a firm to create its competitiveness. Shipping companies under fierce competitive structure need to pay attentions to the utility of knowledge management. A shipping firm may develop its unique service capability by classifying, sharing, and transferring the data, information and knowledge obtained from both inside and outside its global service network. The current study attempts to analyze influential relationships between liner shipping firms' knowledge management and service capabilities. In order to achieve this goal, this study designed a knowledge chain model measuring shipping companies' knowledge management levels and tested its validity and reliability based on a total of 80 replied questionnaires from national and foreign liners. The empirical result presents that supportive and primary activities composing a knowledge chain could exert significant positive influences on the enforcement of shipping service capabilities. This research shows that the utility of knowledge management is adoptable in the maritime industry, and recommends that shipping firms should recognize strategic importance of knowledge and actively pursue knowledge management at an entire firm level.

이 연구에서는 현재의 정보검색 환경에서 이용자 친화적인 검색 시스템을 개발하기 위한 한 방안으로 개별문서의 지식구조 브라우징 인터페이스를 제안하였다. 개별문서에 대한 지식구조를 자동 생성하기위해 개별문서에 출현한 용어를 이용하여 용어 클러스터링과 클러스터 대표어 선정 작업을 수행하였고, 이를 대상으로 다차원 축척법을 이용하여 2차원 공간에 개별문서의 지식구조를 표현함으로써 이용자가 개별문서에 대해 보다 용이하게 절근할 수 있는 브라우징 인터페이스를 마련하였다.

Recent trend of business is characterized by a recognition of importance of knowledge asset. Especially, this phenomenon is receiving more momentum as our society goes digital rapidly. However, most of literature on knowledge management is based on knowledge circulation from the corporate point of view, not from individual viewpoint. In this regard, this paper is concerned with proposing knowledge circulation process and its efficiency from the individual perspective. We adopted structural equation model or SEM to prove the statistical validity of our research framework. Eight hypotheses were built and tested empirically, leading to the fact that the knowledge utilization and sharing of individuals have a positive impact on the knowledge management efficiency.
