최근 들어 지식관리 시스템에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 또한 축적된 지식자원의 효율적인 사용과 공유, 판매 등을 위해 필요한 것이 바로 지식관리시스템(Knowledge Management System)이다. 기업에게 있어서 지식자원은 또 다른 자산으로 평가 받고 있다. 외국의 경우 기업이 지닌 지식자원과 정보를 산술적인 자산으로 평가하는 시스템까지 시도하고 있다고 한다. 이 코너에서는 국내 KMS 시장 규모와 동향등에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

최근 기업의 경영패러다임 바뀌고 있다. 기업은 정보시스템의 통합을 ERP나 BPR등에 의해 이루어 왔으나, 최근 보이지 않는 개인의 암묵지식에서 새로운 경쟁력을 찾으려 하고 있기 때문이다. 참조적인 기업은 조직원의 정형화되어 있지 않은 지식의 가치를 중요하게 여기게 되었고, 이러한 지식을 조직의 정형화된 정보와 함께 경쟁의 원천으로 보는 지식경영 이론으로 발전하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 지식경영 인식도와 정보기술의 활용이 정보시스템을 새로운 차원으로 통합하는데 영향을 줄 것이라는 가설과 함께 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다.

전문가의 지식을 지식베이스화하여 의사결정지원시스템으로 사용하려는 노력이 증대하고 있다. 특히 투자의사결정과 같은 원인결과의 관계를 명확히 규정할 수 없는 복작한 영역에서 전문가의 지식베이스는 비전문가의 의사결정에 중요한 조언을 제공할 수 있다. 불확실한 지식을 지식베이스화하는 한 방법으로 퍼지프러덕션시스템이 널리 사용되고 있다. 주식시장과 같은 동태적인 시스템에서 어떤 정보의 중요성은 상황에 따라 변화하는데 이를 정태적인 프로덕션시스템의 규칙으로 지식베이스화하는 것은 불가능하다. 그러나 추론을 수행하는 과정에서 수행당시 각 정보의 중요도에 부응하는 가중치를 부여하여 평가함으로써 정태적인 지식베이스에 동태적인 실제시스템의 특성을 반영할 수 있다. 이는 가중치가 높은 정보에 해당하는 조건명제의 충족정도가 해당규칙의 전체평가결과에 더욱 중요하게 반영되게 하여 좀더 현실성 있는 추론 결과를 얻게 한다. AHP(Analytic Hierachy Process) 방법에 의하여 얻어진 정보의 상대적 중요도에 따른 가중치 (w)를 해당 정보와 조건명제의 합치정도(Degree of Match : DM)에 (DM)w 의 형식으로 적용함으로써 퍼지프러덕션시스템에서 정보의 중요도를 반영하여 프러덕션규칙을 평가하는 방법을 제시한다.

Collaborative knowledge is continuously producted and modified by group individuals during collaboration and it is also fostered in a radical trust environment like Wiki. The example is Wikipedia. However I found out a big problem as difficulties of exploring when the knowledge space is extended more and more widely. To solve this problem, collaborative knowledge management systems are implemented based on wiki. The one is navigation map that supports the efficient exploring and the another is knowledge map that supports a convergent thinking in a group. In this study, we examined the effectiveness of navigation map and knowledge map.

지식관리시스템은 효과적으로 지식 프로세스를 지원하고, 다양한 비정형의 지식들을 처리하기 위한 다양한 시도를 하고 있다. 그러나 지식 검색, 정보 추출, 관리 등에서 근본적인 약점을 갖고 있으며, 다양한 지식 자원들을 통합하고 연동하는데 어려움이 있다. 이 한계들을 극복하고 지식관리 방식을 개선하기 위한 다양한 연구들이 시도된다. 본 연구에서는 차세대 웹 기술을 적용함으로써 지식관리시스템이 직면한 한계들을 극복하여서 새로운 사업 기회를 가질 수 있는가를 연구하였다. 그리고 기존 지식관리시스템 아키텍처와 비교하여 변경되는 부분을 방안을 제시하고, 새로운 차세대 웹에 의한 지식관리시스템 아키텍처의 미래기술에 대하여 연구하였다.

추론엔진과 지식베이스를 기반으로 하는 전문가 시스템은 사용목적에 맞게 구성되며,인간의 사고 방식을 모방한 컴퓨터가 올바른 해를 도출시키도록 하는데 궁극적인 목표가 있다. 즉, 추론의 효율성이 전문가 시스템의 효율성을 좌우한다. 시스템이 어떠한 목적을 갖는가에 따라서, 추론 방법과 지식표현 방법등이 결정된다. 최근 추론의 효율성을 극대화하기 위해 이용되고 있는 지식표현 및 추론 방법으로는 Rete, TREAT 등의 트리 표현을 사용하는 전향추론, 관계리스트를 사용하는 직접추론 등이 있다. 전문가 시스템의 성능은 추론을 얼마나 효율적이고 정확하게 하는지에 따라 좌우된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 추론의 효율성이 지식베이스의 구축형태와 밀접한 관련을 이용하여 효율적인 추론 엔진을 구성하였다. 지식의 표준화가 모듈화가 쉬운 생성규칙을 사용하여 지식을 표현하였으며 , 사용자의 요구에 의해 전향추론, 후향추론이 수행되도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 추론을 효율적으로 하기위한 기본 방법중, 지식표현을 보다 더 효과적으로 구축하는 방법을 택하였다. 기존의 지식표현방법을 살펴보고, 이를 기반으로 새로운 지시표현 방법인 ECBM(extedned clause bit matrix)과 ERCBM(extended clause bit matrix)을 제안하고 이를 이용하여 전향추론, 후향추혼이 가능한 추론엔진을 구축하였으며 이 두 지식표현을 이용하여 구축되어진 추론엔진을 비교하였다. 이 추론엔진은 기존에 시스템과는 달리 전향, 후향이 모두 효율적으로 수행되어지며, 모든 지식에 대해 적용이 가능한 강력한 범용성을 갖고 있다.

정부의 지식행정시스템은 2001년 도입 이래 그 동안 각 기관의 실정에 맞게 많은 발전을 거쳐 사용자들이 업무를 효율적으로 수행하기 위해 필수적인 시스템으로 자리를 잡았다. 하지만 최근 정보보안(내부 자료 유출 방지, 해킹 피해 최소화 등)의 요구가 증가함에 따라 기존의 네트워크를 업무망과 인터넷망으로 분리하는 네트워크 분리가 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 변화에서 지식행정시스템은 시스템 분할의 기준이 없어 일방적으로 업무망에만 설치되는데 이렇게 될 경우 지식행정시스템의 일부 기능이 제한되고 사용자의 사용성이 떨어지며 외부 사용자는 접근이 불가능하게 되는 문제가 발생한다. 정보보안 강화라는 네트워크 분리의 목적을 달성하면서도 사용자의 불편함을 최소화하기 위해서는 업무망에 있는 지식행정시스템을 업무망과 인터넷망에 분할하여 설치하는 새로운 모델이 필요한데, 기존에 제안된 분할 방법은 분할 목적이 다름으로 인해 적용하기가 어려웠다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크 분리 환경에 맞는 새로운 시스템 분할 요인으로 외부사용자 참여도, 내부시스템 결합도, 인터넷 결합도를 제시하고 요인별 측정치에 따른 위치를 결정하여 네트워크 분할환경에서의 효율적인 지식행정시스템 모델을 제안하고 문화체육관광부의 지식행정시스템에 적용한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 지식행정시스템 모델을 사용하면 네트워크 분리환경에 따라 발생한 시스템의 제한된 기능의 정상화가 가능하고, 불가능했던 외부 사용자의 접근이 가능하며, 사용자의 불편함을 완화시킬 수 있다.

Currently, managers and researchers have come to recognize the importance of knowledge as an asset to the organization. Knowledge Management System (KMS) is developed as a tool to manage the organizational knowledge. A significant literature about Knowledge Management in the private, but not public sector. The purpose of the study is to analyze the influencing factors for KMS utilization in a public sector, Jeju Provincial Government Organization. This study performed an empirical research on factors that affect the use of KMS using Knowledge Management system capability and individual & organizational capability criteria. Survey was conducted with 150 employees from Jeju Provincial Government Organization. The Results show that an ability to create knowledge, and knowledge infrastructure are significant factors in determining the level of usage of Knowledge Management system. In particular, the most important factor that influences the usage of Knowledge Management is knowledge creation. and then knowledge infrastructure. The result also shows that the usage of KMS is affected by management's support willingness.

The world is in the great change by the digital revolution and is changing fast to knowledge-based society beyond information society. That is to say, Knowledge is the most powerful source of competitiveness. This change of environment needs new paradigm in design. As of today, There is need to study systematically and approach practically about knowledge management. So that, we are intend to reconstruct theoretical system from design-oriented viewpoint and propose knowledge-creation paradigm through the importing technique of knowledge management into design. This study is to develop theoretical frame work of knowledge management in design as a basic study on the implementation of knowledge management for design. By the method of study for this, It was studied literature and precedent. Further more, proposed the appropriate direction of knowledge management implementation in design. Also, It was composed knowledge management system of the infra system, information system, decision-making support system and knowledge competency. Finally, The technical feature of knowledge management system was analyzed from a information technology point of view.

Knowledge and Knowledge Management have emerged as a current 'hot issue' for many organizations. This paper starts by exploring the definition of knowledge and knowledge management. It then analyzes the process of knowledge management and suggests the recommendations for effective knowledge management. Finally, it considers the pahership for knowledge management, and especially how librarians as knowledge professionals, users, and technology experts can contribute to effective knowledge management. These suggestions of the study will be used to implement knowledge management system that can organize, transfer, and share explicit and implicit knowledge.
